I am so confused what is happening. I have been occasionally spotting since Thursday red blood which is normally a sign that my period will arrive within a few days but it still hasn't started. I have been having light cramping for a few days as well. I am now 15dpo and I really don't want to waste money using the only pregnancy test in my house as it is a first response 🫣

CharLdn · 07/01/2024 08:31

It is hard I’m the same with sex drive although I have to say since we’ve been doing it more it’s getting better. I think of it a bit like going to the gym half the time I can’t be bothered but once I’ve gone I feel good 😂

PeekABoo22 · 06/01/2024 17:48

Still not using ovulation sticks here, going to give it this month and then start using them. According to my app I'm ovulating around now so going to DTD for a few days and will report back in 2 weeks! Best of luck everyone

Daisychain27 · 06/01/2024 17:44

Hi all, I’m back! I’m about 9DPO. Unfortunately me and partner only managed to BD 2 and 3 days before I O’ed, and then 2 days after O, so I’ve written myself off this cycle. However I do have awful constipation, cramping, and tiny bit of pink CM when I wipe, so I guess it’s not over til the fat lady sings! Baby dust to you all x

GoldenArrow · 06/01/2024 17:16

Oh fingers crossed for you @RhubarbCrumble12345 !!

RhubarbCrumble12345 · 06/01/2024 17:09

I tested today at 10 dpo (can't be 100% sure as I didn't test ovulation this month but I usually do and I ovulate later around day 17). BFN but I must be going crazy as I totally feel like I am. I usually get my period 10 days after ovulation and I usually spot a couple of days, none of which has happened!! Sore boobs, achy. I got a faint line with my first DC at 10dpo so definitely feeling a bit disheartened today. Sixth month trying!🙏

GoldenArrow · 06/01/2024 17:07

I've also had lots of egg white discharge today. So I'm hoping the 4th was close enough to OV. I don't think it was OV day though as I didn't have this much discharge then. My body confuses me tbh 🫠

GoldenArrow · 06/01/2024 17:03

Welcome @CharLdn and good luck TTC!

I don't have any advice re your DH but I am also very impatient and struggling to just 'see what happens'. I was supposed to be doing that but actually I've been doing opks from about 31st.

I've DTD 26th, 27th, 31st and 4th, so not much. My app says ovulation was 4th Jan. I thought that was late as CD17. However, I took an ovulation test today and thought the line looked pretty strong... (strongest I've seen for me)...

@CharLdn i had to work on my oh a bit. We hadn't been together long but known each other ages. I first fell really quickly without properly trying but miscarried but then he wanted it as much as me. We are trying for our second now and he doesn't admit to being excited but I know he is really. I also have a really low drive so we dtd more when im ovulating which he hates so that causes some issues. Definitely try keep it fun

Peonies94 · 06/01/2024 13:56

For those who use clear blue ovulation sticks and temp, how long after a static do you see the rise? Not sure if I’m actually ovulating but keen to see what will happen to my temps over next few days!

CharLdn · 06/01/2024 13:49

Heya I’m joining this chat as we’re TTC this year.

TW: slightly long read. But I wanted to shared a bit of background.

I’m very keen to get going but my partner is a bit reluctant because he is generally averse to change and takes ages to make decisions. He’s said he’s on board for kids but just generally takes ages to do things.

We also had a deep conversation last month where we realised we need to get up to shagging more and feeling more connected in general before we start officially trying. However, since then we’ve had more unprotected sex so would say we’re not not trying?!

One of my close friends has just got preggo on first month trying and now I’m feeling desperately impatient.

Has anyone else
a) had to pursuade a partner whose slightly dragging feet to get going
b) feeling really impatient already
c) how often are you guys DTD if you are really going for it? I’m thinking from next month of trying to go for every other day from days 8-20 ish? Reckon that’s enough?

Any solidarity or support appreciated!

Me too. I think the admin needs to create a separate TTC board like the pregnancy one.

siobhanmt247 · 06/01/2024 12:06

I can only see the pregnancy chat group

@H938 We’ve not managed it everyday, we should have done it last night but we were both exhausted after a busy day. I had another flashing face this morning so still no peak. I did an OPK at the same time (FMU) and it was really low at 0.17 so going to do another early this afternoon. We’ve got a pretty chilled day today so hopefully will have some energy tonight 😅

Hey all, late comer to the chat...! So we have been not trying but not not trying.. and this month I am pretty much on exactly the same cycle as @starryx @KittyFantastica (keeping fingers crossed for everyone).

I had some cramps and some light spotting earlier this week which is totally abnormal for me. We DTD on the 25th and 26th which is approx when I was due to be ovulating.. trying to hold off testing but reading this thread has made me realise how quietly excited I am....

I'm 37btw, would be first baby...

Haha cycle twins! Best of luck to you.. same boat here would be 1st baby :)

Yeah I think it’s too heavy for implantation as well but not sure why it’s happening as
never had this before on my period. Never had 2 days of brown streaks when wiping as well before..

BiscuitDreams · 06/01/2024 07:54

Yeah, I think it is too heavy for implantation I'm afraid. I've never had implantation bleeding but I've googled it enough so I think it is supposed to be quite light and pink? Sorry. 😕

Wanderingthroughparenthood · 06/01/2024 07:40

I’d say too heavy for implantation. Sorry! X

I think my TTC journey have been rumbled a little more :(

Can't remember if I mentioned previously but I have endometriosis. I had an operation in Nov 2021 to remove it behind my uterus, bladder and on my bowel. I was told that due to where it was and not being on my ovaries, I should be ok to have children, but with where it was on my uterus I had a higher chance on miscarriage. But we're determined to have our dream baby.

My ovulation pain has been horrendous this month. It's always a little painful but today I've been in agony, killer back pain, cramping, feeling sick, just as my LH has been peaking so I called 111 and they said I need to go see a doctor.

They suspect the endometriosis has spread to a kidney so are sending me for a scan. I'm so scared. We're of course going to keep trying but I am terrified that this means it's got worse than I realise in its usual areas.

Hi, I'm a stage 4 endo plus die sufferer, I had op in Jan 2021. My endo was everywhere. I lost a fallopian tube.
The best thing I can recommend is caster oil packs. It helped me so much before my opp, and now that I'm trying to get pregnant, I believe it helps keep the endo in check. You can only do them on certain days, though, if you're trying to get pregnant.
I did get pregnant but unfortunately had a cp.
Good luck with everything ❤️

Peonies94 · 05/01/2024 21:26

@Newmumwales sprry this only just posted from this afternoon due to poor internet! 8DPO is really early to have a positive anyways! I’d wait a couple of days 🤞🏻

Peonies94 · 05/01/2024 21:23

@Newmumwales id save wee for a few hours, do a cheapie and if a line shows up within time, do the Frer! They are my favourite tests for accurate results!

2andadog · 05/01/2024 20:20

Thank you.

Hmm around 9-11 I think, I’m not sure as not been tracking my ovulation but it would be around Christmas Day give or take a day or so.

Keeping fingers crossed for you!

Fully expecting to come on my period any day but equally have had a very strong reaction to the smell of vinegar today!!

Keeping everything crossed for you! Do you know how many DPO you'd be now?

It's so lovely to see a few people in the exact same timeframe. I always think of so many questions and don't have anyone else I can take them to yet.
