I got a definite positive on two different tests about 5.45 this morning including an early digital - did two as i couldnt believe it - woke hubby up, had about an hour of feeling great and ive just catastrophically come on my period. Absolutely doubt it’s AF.

AF has arrived for me, right on time!
It's onto cycle 9!

My daughter randomly touched my tummy this evening and said “there’s no baby in there mummy it’s just your big belly” 😂 which im slightly miffed about as ive lost weight 😂 but maybe she knows… (we dont talk about TTC in front of her so very random!) x

@GoldenArrow @Swift1602 the symptom spotting is enough to drive you round the twist isn’t it!

I was incredibly lucky with my first, fell first month “seeing what happened” on a long holiday so I wasnt tracking and didnt really have a TWW. First symptom I remember questioning was being off booze, and I just knew. Waited two days to test and it was positive. In hindsight it’s a dream situation isnt it! Roll on this time, I’ve been trying for No2 since the summer and this is the first month I’ve had a bit of a feeling I could be but I drive myself nuts every month. I’m sure our bodies play tricks on us too (or we prod and poke haha).

I’ve not tracked properly yet either, but I said I would after NY. I think I ovulate quite late in the month, I think I did with my first too. So I want to test my theory but I’m loathed to introduce another thing to obsess over, so I’m going to make my mind up on it this week!

Also I'm the same with symptom spotting, it's dawned on me that I never normally poke and prod my boobs like this near my period, so maybe they just feel heavy because I've taken notice of them!

@ButterflySkies hahaha they are peculiar sounding symptoms 🤣🤣 that gave me a laugh. My boobs feel really heavy but not tender at all. I never get tender boobs though, even with AF - it's about the only symptom I'm lucky enough to avoid!

Ah I have been the same this month, I had a cold/flu type thing so thinking I'm later because of that.

I've ordered some clear blues, as hoping they'll be more sensitive than the cheap one I used this morning.

I’ve been following all month! AF due on Thursday and I’m going to hold out till then. I keep getting obsessed symptom spotting but I’m trying so hard not to think about it - first time round I didn’t even have any symptoms! I did at test at 9dpo and it was incredibly negative ha. I’ve not been tracking ovulation just going by my app so I’ve got a feeling I’ve got it wrong! Nice to just get this all out so I don’t go mad.

@GoldenArrow i’m also due today! Had some peculiar symptoms this weekend - my boobs are incredibly sore, i felt like i could have breastfed my friends baby yesterday (that sounds so so weird!) and im normally completely repulsed by my hubby at this point but im not!

I’ve had a couple of absolute squinters of is it/isnt it lines over the weekend and this morning so im thinking being ill has just knocked my cycle and im seeing things…! Although im a bit peeved at that as I was like clockwork before! Keep me posted at how you get on!

ovulation sticks have just arrived - really hoping next month is our lucky month for everyone on the chain. And that everyone is doing ok - sending huge virtual cuddles, thinking of you.

AF due today, no signs. Negative PG test though. Thinking she's just late..

Anyone use a Fert.lily cup, I am this cycle, I've read up on it and lots of opinions on mumsnet,finding it very difficult to insert, just don't seem to get it past a certain point...its hard and messy..sorry tmi...but reviews are good...

seems like a fair few of us are relatively synced as I got my AF today. Explains my extreme irritation on Friday and the entire malt loaf I ate on Thursday! As it was our first month trying I’m staying positive, but I do think I’m going to have to try and pursuade DH to DTD more next month…

my cycle was 33 days last cycle and 25 days this cycle so I might try ovulation strips although I’m vaguely going to follow the sperm meets eggs days 🤞 Im also tracking temp.

Unfortunately, EPU are closed on weekends, there was no answer this morning. I did promise my husband that if I get the same pain again I'll call 111.

I haven't had consistent pain, just for about two to three hours in the middle of last night. I have since had a bit of spotting when using the bathroom this evening, so I can see things are moving along. It was worrying the first two days because there was no symptoms at all after the negative tests. It's an awful wait, but I know I'm being impatient.

@KittyFantastica im so sorry lovely. I didnt want to read and run.

I had a CP at the end of November. It was very very crampy, very clotty and not like a normal period. I didnt have a bleed - just clots, like jam or nothing at all.

If it’s been this long with pain and no bleeding at all please get checked, cramps and nothing is definitely something to get checked out.

Sending a huge handhold and virtual cuddle - it’s so so cruel. But take care of you and look after yourself xxx

@KittyFantastica might be worth giving ur nearest EPU a call for advise if the cramps are that intense.
Still a risk for an ectopic.

@elleaddams Positives getting fainter instead of darker, symptoms completely stopped after four days, and eventually pregnancy tests showing negative. Last night, I had horrific cramps that came in waves, which I assumed would cause the tell tale bleed, but there was only a tiny spot hours before that happened and nothing since.

May I ask what your signs were that this ended up being chemical? I've never been pregnant so not sure what to keep an eye out for.

Thank you all, it's devastating and the worst of it is that I've had horrifically intense cramping most of the night but not a drop of blood.

I just want it to be over so I can feel some tiny sense of normality, but I've no idea when the bleed will come. I had one tiny spot yesterday and that's it. No pain since last night.

Has anyone else experienced this? I can't find anything anywhere about it. Most info says bleeding begins first, so I'm both upset and stumped.

So sorry to all those that have got their periods and were expecting different. This ttc game is so so hard.
Just tested myself and was negative , period due Monday. I wasn't expecting a positive though so it didn't hit me too hard. Onto month 9 ttc soon. Next month will be our month girls 🙌
