@EmmPCOS eugh. It’s terrible how much you have to fight for support.

@SlinkMcSlink I had a junior doctor mention it in my 6th year of going to the Drs with the issues.... I had bloods done, internal scan and external exam... think it's easier for adults to get it diagnosed but I was 18 at the start of it all and it took years 😞

@Christmasfairy34 I've had PCOS diagnosed since 2014 but had PCOS symptoms for about 6 years prior when I was 18.... I was just never taken seriously 😞

@EmmPCOS Hi! I honestly felt nauseous but I've had that flu that is going around. But low and behold I went to the toilet last night an AF had arrived. I think that made me 11 days late. Its been a horrible few weeks but at least now I can try again. I think I might start using the ovulation tests. Can I just ask how long you have had PCOS?

@LuceNumberTwo I use first or second. Im sure it will show, im CD 12 today so the app is putting ovulation at CD 17 like last month but I deffo dont ovulate on CD 17 each month as im 26 days usually so I reckon between 12-14. I will aim for that and also just go for around day 17 aswell and hope for the best 😅. I dont want to get into the tww and be stressing, I hope I can be chilled like now. X

Yeah, seeing babies etc usually makes me feel a bit down but I just wasn't prepared for this 🙈 anyway! It will be nice by the by to have another wee one to cuddle & spoil 🥰

Ahh! Do you use first morning wee? I had taken 2 tests until I read its best to use it, although other tests say 2nd morning. Conflicting info at its best 🙈 hoping you get your Static & don't have to be confused like last time! Just throws everything totally out.. Is it just the digital your using? I'm using cheapies which are still showing as low. Today's is alot darker, but I feel as though the premom app takes really bad quality pics because they've been getting progressively darker! I just don't know 🙈🙈🤦‍♀️ x

@LuceNumberTwo Morning, hope you had a lovely Christmas!! Sometimes its hard when other people are falling and youre trying, I have a friend in the same position who gets so upset everytime she hears someone elses news which is completely normal and your feelings are valid!! Also its crazy how early people tell, I think if youve never had anything go wrong you expect it to always be okay. (Fingers crossed it always is anyway)

Glad you got your 🙂 im waiting for mine. Still on flashing ones and also im really not sure as last month I got it twice. Just continuting to dtd as and when no pressure. Lovely being busy and not stressing about it too x

Thanks for replying 💕 honestly it just felt like a massive punch to the gut.. She's also only 7 weeks along, in my head I'm like god you've no idea how early that is. Like I'm sure/hope everything will be fine but I'd never ever wish upon anyone what I've/others ladies have been through, I knew nothing about it until I went through it myself 🥺 they were really understanding because they all know, also her sister is like my closest friend! But other women are going to get pregnant around me! It's something I'll have to brace myself for!
Anyway sorry for waffling! I got my Static smiley today woohoo! We've been going for it this month🤞 I've got until the 8th till I go back to work so still some time to rest & chill 😍

No your not, it's very normal, I burst out crying when my sister told me my other sister was pregnant delighted for her, was also delighted that I heard it before she told me as had time to process it....its hard when your not getting what you want....

Can I join please? Back again ttc my second baby! I’m just waiting for my cycle to start again so I can begin ttc after not having a period due to breast feeding! Hoping now my baby is sleeping a little better I can begin in the new year 🤞🏻!

My cousin just announced her pregnancy on facetime & I burst into tears 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ I am so super happy for her.. But obviously it's knocked the wind out of me a bit!

Merry crimbo! I would like to join please. TTC number 2, waiting for AF on new years day. It will be our 7th cycle and I'm 34.

For the first time in my life I had ovulation bleeding this cycle so we didn't really dtd much. How bizarre!

Let's hope 2024 is out year 🤞

Hi @Christmasfairy34 I'm in a similar boat! I do have PCOS but even for that I'm fluttering on late. Have you had anything that feels strange - like out of sorts?

Sorry all I've been reading in but not commenting because im in such a strange place. Been ttc for 4 months. Been regular for AF for the past 6 months. But this time i am 9 days late with a negative test. I'm not sure if I just keep trying or see a doctor. Never experienced this before.

Also & this is a reply to you also @starryx tarryx I seen on another thread that a girl had been advised by her Fertility Dr to DTD on 3 days of her cycle which were something like CD 10, 12 & 17..

She got.her BFP this month after I think 18 months of TTC at the wrong times! So I think there's still every chance! 🤞🤞🥰

SMEP - stands for, sperm meets egg plan. It’s a plan of ttc which aims to have sperm waiting in the right place for the egg.

After AF finishes, you dtd every other day until you get a positive ovulation test, at which point you dtd that day and the next two. Then you miss and day and dtd the following for good measure.

I’ve never tried it but people say it works. I always just had sex 6 days in a row (by using digital advanced ovulation tests), and fell pregnant within the first month or two, but a lot of this is luck.

@starryx yes thats really true! Both my two kids I only dtd once 😂 I was lucky! Heres hoping that it can be the same this time 🫠 x

@LuceNumberTwo ohhh same as me! Got a flashing smiley today too, unsure when im ovulating though after last month so being very chill about it. Will start dtd tonight I guess. Christmas treats all round 🤣🤣 Also looking forward to Christmas, it feels like a lot less pressure ttc when Christmas is here, not got a minute to think about it which is good! Hope this is your month!! Xx
