@H938 I actually feel the same this year & I'm Mrs christmas usually 🤣🤣🙈 just feel as though I want this year to end quicker! Bloody sound a right bundle of joy 🤣🤣

@Newmumwales I'd say the same as above, I think your peak will be in the next 24-48 so I'd be getting down to.it 🤣 I also feel like some apps (I use premom) don't take very good/accurate pics. My tests were pretty dark & all coming back as low then one suddenly high, then the next low so it changed the high to peak 🤣🤣 I think your better going by your own initiative & if its dark its time!!
Bloody thought OPK are supposed to make life easier 🤔🙄

@Newmumwales I always miss the high number when ovulation testing but when on the up I know I am about to ovulate. I would say today/tomorrow is your day. I have attached my latest picture of my stripes

I've never used ovulation tests. They seem a good idea though. Here's to hoping for some bfp in January

I’ve started using OPKS and we DTD yesterday on cycle day 11 when I’ve entered my fertile window. I’ve just done a OPK (not easy at home) on the Premom app and it’s still saying low. I’m supposed to ovulate on New Year’s Eve apparently. Does this mean high or peak or low still?

@LuceNumberTwo me too. Im going to dtd again a couple more times next week if it happens, I dont have the energy to be going all the time 😂. I will keep busy over the next week trying to get the house back to normal and finding space for all the new toys!! Im ready to take down the decorations already 🤣

My cycle was 28 days & I started testing on cycle day 11.. which seemed to work for me tracking but I over use the tests so might not be the best to ask 😆😆 is it the cheapie strips you've ordered?

Hi ladies, this is my second cycle TTC, and I’ve ordered a batch of OPKs to try and focus my efforts a bit more this time!

I’ve not really tracked ovulation before, just logged my period. What cycle day is the best day to start OPK testing? It’s day 6 for me currently and my cycle is usually 34-35 days long.

i didn’t want to start testing too early and burn through a load of tests unnecessarily.

@LuceNumberTwo mine are never dark!! I also read that the clearblue ovulation tests pick up on two different hormones so I feel like how can they be wrong! But im deffo not an expert 😄

Im pretty sure I am ovulating now because I can feel it im sure! Only 14 days to go now 😁.

@Daisychain27 I've never had an LH that high, good timing for you to start using them! LH should peak 24-48hours before ovulation, you can be fertile a few days before and 1 day after, I think 1 day before ovulation is highest chance, so definitely not out, especially if you were able to try in the last few days too.

Oh wow, I am so new to all of this but I got some ovulation strips today, tested (I’m on CD15) and my T line is extremely strong, Premom app has it at 1.27 “high”! I will take another later and try and find “peak”, but does anyone know how long after your peak do you actually ovulate? I ask because BF is working away until late tomorrow night so I’m worried we will miss the window by then.

My AF still hasn't come and still no signs of pregnancy either. It's really annoying because it leaves me in limbo and makes me question everything that's going on in my body.

Ive got this weird knot/Butterfly feeling in my lower abdomen and I'm like 'oh could it be some sort of symptom?' - it's not but just so urgh!

Yeah my ovulation days definitely fluctuate.. November's AF was super early so knocked ovulation back, also shortened my cycle for this ovulation so it feels so quick 🤣 who actually knows I don't think anythings 100%! Just have to DTD & hope for the best

So I got my clearblue Static smiley 2 days ago. Which has now gone off the test, but I was also taking easy at home strip tests, usually when I ovulate the line goes really dark, but this time, yes it did go dark but not a dye stealer as previously has been! I know I shouldn't worry because I got the static smiley & that's enough to go by but I'm confused.

I've attached two pics (the test on its own how it usually goes during peak, the multiple one is this peak.. I know they've gotten darker just not as dark - the bottom is this mornings so I'm obviously over my peak)
I know I'm waffling but just wanted to see if anyone had the same before 🙈 x

You can’t know unless you track. There really isn’t any set date that women with a 27 cycle ovulate on, it’s different for everyone. My cycle was 27 days last month and I ovulated on day 14, but this cycle I ovulated on day 12. I have a friend with a 27 day cycle who ovulated every month on day 10!

Thanks ladies. I hope so too. I'm enjoying all of the Christmas booze and food at the moment though.
We have dtd, but I've no idea if I'd even ovulate this month, so January is our official first month of ttc.

@PeekABoo22 I only started using ovulation sticks last month. They really do help to understand what is actually going on. Last month I ovulated late on CD 17 then was 5 days late because apparently the luteal phase is always the same (mine must be about 14 days) but without checking I would have 100% just thought I was pregnant and would have got negatives so glad I was doing them. X

Also joining, TTC baby no.1, this month will be first cycle for us! I’m on CD14, I think I tend to ovulate between CD17-21 as I have slightly longer cycles, been BBT’ing for a while now but never done OPKs or anything like that as we haven’t been TTC. Exciting!

@GoldenArrow when I used to be on a 28 day cycle I used to ovulate on day 14. So I would say Google may be more correct then Flo in this case

Anyone know when you'd expect to ovulate on a 27 day cycle? My flo app thinks day 17, Google tells me day 13!

4dpo today and I have had the occasional mild cramp which isn't normal for me but also I think is too early for implantation pain. No boob soreness. As strange as this sounds at the moment I think I would be too bothered if it is a negative this cycle as it is only my first cycle for TTC number 2 but then saying that I bet next week I will be disappointed if it is negative.
In regard to drinking I am still drinking as I am enjoying the festive period with family and don't plan on stopping until I get a BFP. TBF outside of the festive period I don't drink a lot.

Hi, I've been lurking for a few days. We lost our baby boy at 16.3 days at the beginning of December. We'd love to ttc in January, but I'm about to turn 38, so I'm conscious this might not happen easily. Wishing you all lots of luck 🍀

@Wyewaving i don’t always trust flow as it’s saying I ovulate on January 8th which would be cd 17 but that seems late to me.

To be fair, I’m on a couple of different apps but who knows which one is correct?

LH seem to be the best option but nothing has happened yet x
