Just wondering what everyone’s symptoms were leading up to their BFP?

I am 9dpo and haven’t tested yet, this is only because I don’t have any tests in 🤣

I have pmdd (pre menstrual dysphoric disorder) and usually suffer really bad with my symptoms round about now. Fatigue, sore boobs, very moody/sad/ depressed. cravings etc. I have had nothing (not complaining though!)

I have had the odd twinge in my left side and almost like a dull ache and consistent back ache for about 4 days now.

Anyone else had no symptoms and usually get them before AF but then got BFP?

I woke up 4 days before my missed period feeling very nauseated (lasted two trimesters) and a few days leading up to it I had fatigue. I could hardly eat - beige food. I did a test and it was a strong positive on the Friday and I missed my period on the Monday. I'm nearly 35 weeks now.

Nil.

It was our first try and we were convinced it would be negative. Had no reason to believe I was, other than that it was my first ovulation without contraception! We were in happy shock when the line appeared!
My whole pregnancy continued to be a breeze, and the birth. I was very lucky!

Most of the symptoms were associate with early pregnancy often occur leading up to your period.

This is due to elevated progesterone levels, which peak before period starts but can remain elevated throughout pregnancy.

HCG levels take time to build and provoke systems. At 9DPO you can be pregnant and test negative for example. So often you'll hear pregnant and non-pregnant confirm the same symptoms.

Here are some of the symptoms I felt I experienced up 9DPO:

Metallic taste in mouth
Cramping
Tender boobs (strongest symptoms)
Morning nausea
Dizziness
Increased thirst
Frequent urination
Bloating
Clear discharge (more than usual)
Constipation

BUT - once I was 12DPO all those symptoms stopped completely. Literally nothing. And now I'm nearly 6weeks pregnant.

Would I have paid attention to those symptoms if I wasn't TTC? No. Most woman wouldn't

Now at 6weeks I can DEFINITELY feel the difference. Morning sickness hits hard.

@Mushroo thanks for your reply!

Ahh so hopefully there’s hope for me! Yes that’s exactly what I do every month symptom spot. Then this month I have had a more relaxed approach however noticed my usually af symptoms aren’t even around! very strange.

None whatsoever. I was symptom spotting every month and I had no symptoms before my BFP so I was absolutely convinced I was out. I felt completely normal, I had my usual light spotting I get every month. I only tested because I was going to the pub!

A couple of days after BFP they properly kicked in with sore boobs, really weird dreams and struggling to sleep.
