Just wondering what everyone’s symptoms were leading up to their BFP?

I am 9dpo and haven’t tested yet, this is only because I don’t have any tests in 🤣

I have pmdd (pre menstrual dysphoric disorder) and usually suffer really bad with my symptoms round about now. Fatigue, sore boobs, very moody/sad/ depressed. cravings etc. I have had nothing (not complaining though!)

I have had the odd twinge in my left side and almost like a dull ache and consistent back ache for about 4 days now.

Anyone else had no symptoms and usually get them before AF but then got BFP?

Started with severe lower back pain for few days. Lots of cramping and just exhaustion

Negangirlxx · 01/12/2023 10:53

I think the peeing is the most annoying symptom so far, along with the cramping.

I’ve had nausea on and off too.

FairytaleChristmas · 01/12/2023 09:56

Brushing my teeth suddenly made me gag.

All my other pregnancy symptoms have varied from one pregnancy to the next.

DrPsy · 01/12/2023 09:39

Feeling tired, peeing loads at night, and weirdly feeling ‘swollen’ down there

GeorgeR28 · 01/12/2023 09:27

@Louloubaker hey! Thankyou so much I appreciate it.
well the first time to be honest I had absolutely no clue apart from I was quite constipated (TMI) but I suffer with that anyway so it’s kind of my normal.
This month I honestly just feel different and I can’t explain it. I tested yesterday which will be 10dpo, didn’t use FMU and it was negative. My bbt is still high and hasn’t dipped so I’m so confused. BUT that being said I’m not going to test now I’m just going to wait till AF shows. First time I tested the day of my missed period and it was a positive. Good luck to you! Keep me updated please xx

I've been pregnant 6 times. I always felt very much NOT pregnant when I was and had pregnancy symptoms when I wasn't. First physical symptom -besides missing a period- was nausea arpund 8 weeks. I already had positive tests before then.

So if you don't feel anything: do not give up hope yet.

SunshineIndoors123 · 30/11/2023 13:20

I had no symptoms whatsoever, just did a test on the off chance, about 12dpo because we were going away for the weekend and I wanted to know if I could drink or not. Massive surprise really when we'd been trying for over 4 years to concieve and most months I'd not been pregnant I'd convinced myself I'd had all the symptoms under the sun!

Negangirlxx · 30/11/2023 13:00

This is how I figured it out.

Cramping, dizziness, sore boobies, absolutely inhaling food, tiredness, and spotting (very dark), for five days before my period was due.

Tested day before period, and it was Positive. Did three that day to make sure.

Louloubaker · 30/11/2023 12:53

Sorry to hear about your loss @GeorgeR28

it really is isn’t it! I’ve never been pregnant before so feel like I would definitely know the difference if I was.

when do you plan on testing? I have done 2 clear blues tests but they just look like evap lines to me. I checked them after the time frame too!

I usually have really bad pms but I’ve literally got none of that which is so unusual for me not due on till next Tuesday so we will see

Extremely sore boobs and very very veiny each time, even before I missed a period. X

lemonsherbertt · 29/11/2023 23:08

I had a dull aching pain in the side of my tummy and light pink spotting with all my pregnancies before BFP

FebMama · 29/11/2023 22:53

Extreme hunger and tiredness!! The night before I got my first BFP, I ate an entire medium dominos pizza to myself and was falling asleep in bed by 7pm...
by 7am the next morning I found out I was pregnant and it all made sense!!

newrubylane · 29/11/2023 22:33

My symptoms kicked in Very early, well before my period was due. Very intense lower back ache and extremely tender boobs, sensitive nipples - it was very unlike anything I get pre-period and I was convinced I must be pregnant. Then these symptoms stopped ans I instead got what felt exactly like period cramps. At that stage I was a bit deflated and thought must be coming on, earlier than expected. I actually only tested because I wanted to be sure I wasn't pregnant so I could have a glass of wine because I felt so achey and fed up. Turned out to be twins, which I assume is why my symptoms were so strong!

PubicZirconia · 29/11/2023 22:29

A strang tugging sensation when I stood up too quickly, which I'd never had before.

Veiny boobs.

Sudden bouts of sickness that would last just seconds whenever I had a shower.

JSB16 · 29/11/2023 22:20

Nausea as well with me a few days before my missed period. I know a lot of people say it doesn’t start until later in the pregnancy but this has been the same for both my pregnancies.

thaisweetchill · 29/11/2023 22:20

Sickness and feeling so tired/falling asleep at 7pm

Ormally · 29/11/2023 22:18

A sense of smell on overdrive, especially when opening the fridge and/or cooking. Most things smelt bad and offputting (meat especially, even when it should have been fresh). Fabric softener very suddenly became so strong it could be tasted within the mouth even just by smelling it on a wash - I think most types contain pheromones or pheromone-like scents.

USaYwHatNow · 29/11/2023 22:11

With the pregnancy I miscarried I was so sooo warm, like proper hot flushes that made me lean my face onto a metal filing cabinet at work and then a really dull, thuddy almost dehydrated kind of headache.

I miscarried at about 6.5 weeks.

Fell pregnant 8 weeks later, definitely didn't think I was pregnant but one Sunday at about 9dpo woke up with that same horrible headache even though I was well hydrated. Thought it was COVID tbh 🤣 COVID test was negative but pregnancy test was positive the next morning and my son is now 15mo 😁

The usual pregnancy symptoms of nausea and food aversions etc didn't start for me til I was nearly 8 weeks pregnant...thought I'd gotten away with it!

Lovely234 · 29/11/2023 22:07

I’ve been pregnant 3 times and every time I’ve known I’m pregnant before I even tested from the smell of my wee! Totally bizarre

PTSDBarbiegirl · 29/11/2023 21:59

Metallic taste in mouth, sore boobs, bit of nausea.

Minniemouse85 · 29/11/2023 21:56

Excessive insatiable thirst!!

SwordToFlamethrower · 29/11/2023 21:51

No period, Increased thirst, frequent urination, cramps.

gettingolderbutcooler · 29/11/2023 21:51

Tiredness, veins on boobs.

HollyJollyRobin · 29/11/2023 21:50

Nothing!

ladygindiva · 29/11/2023 21:09

cherrylemonapple · 29/11/2023 20:42

being an absolute cow. every single pregnancy i’ve known before testing because i’ve been absolutely raging and moody at everything and everyone for no reason 🤣

I was the opposite; pregnancy was the only time I wasn't a complete cow 🤣 sick as a dog but weirdly chilled out and content
