Hi all, 3 days late but not really had symptoms of pregnancy. Felt abit sicky and headaches on and off… i have been unwell last week with cold / flu so just assumed headaches and odd tummyache was down to that.

Took a test this morning and i think it’s positive? But i know clearblue with blue dye can be a nightmare for evaps.

UPDATE - got some more pregnancy tests and it still says pregnant 2-3 weeks so I’m just going to monitor it and go from there i think. Weird thing is the brown discharge was once Friday PM, then tiny bit of pink on Friday PM. Nothing at all Saturday. Sunday Pink spotting PM and then on the night it was apparent again before bed. But then nothing this morning, then slightly again before I’ve gone out and then nothing again. So strange.

@IVFfirsttimer91 morning! Thankyou for your message - this is my 3rd and i had a chemical pregnancy back in December last year so i think thats why i’m worrying. And i never had implantation bleeding with my other 2 babies. But i know all pregnancies are different.

The cramps were only there when the pink bleed was there, and then when it stopped they stopped. If i hadn’t have gone for a wee i wouldn't have even noticed the pink bleed tbh thats how light it was. Looked like it was going to get heavier but it didn’t so hopefully all is ok.

That window through the womb is good! If i get anything else I will definitely be booking one of those i think just for reassurance.

@cgwx sounds exactly like what I had!

I know it sounds silly but try not to worry too much at this stage. If the cramping turns really sharp and bad or if the bleeding turns fresh and heavier then I’d go to the EPU.

I booked an early scan with Window to the womb and saw the little heartbeat and was very reassured.

Honestly though I think (for me anyway) this whole pregnancy has been a worry, and I wish I had relaxed a bit more earlier on and just enjoyed it. But I have to say it gets a lot less worrying after the 20 week scan (until week 28 apparently as that’s when I have to start properly tracking her movements, which I know is going to stress me out 😅)

@IVFfirsttimer91 hey, thanks for jumping on the post. I had random brown / pink / clear discharge Friday afternoon. Then nothing. Fine all day yesterday. This afternoon was a hint of pink again on the tissue, and then just theres a little more but not enough for pad. Put one as precautionary though. Cramps just feel like period pains on the sides.

Hey OP, try not to worry! I had cramping and spotting up to 10 weeks. And I’m nearly 25 weeks now.

are the cramps really bad and what colour is the spotting?

@4LeafCloverBaby thankyou! I am nervous as i've got an autistic 9 year old, and a 6 year old so this is going to be fun lol. but i think they'll enjoy it so much. and will absolutely be my last pregnancy so going to enjoy it :) xxx

UPDATE: i went for a wee earlier and saw some clear / shiny, some thin small stringy dark pink / brown discharge. not sure what that is all about. but will keep an eye obviously.

hey all :) updating the thread. I was too impatient to wait so i took the other test this morning. what we thinking now on a new day? i think going forward now i'm going to wait until next week and buy a digital.

@Devilsmommy i'm tempted to get the double check if i can't get pink dye... the clear blue one as its £11.99 at the moment in superdrug. its about going though lol. If i had had this option at Asda i'd have brought it.

@cgwx I'd go for a digital one next, that's what I did when the others were showing faintly. I know digital ones get knocked on here but mine told me exactly right😊

@Devilsmommy haha. see i know what to expect because i've got 2 already. BUT i don't normally go for clear blue i have always used first response but can't get them anywhere these days in the UK other than online. I was too impatient to wait after seeing that this morning. I thought i was seeing things this morning because it was so faint BUT came up pretty much straight away. If i am pregnant i would say this is about 15 DPO so if that is right then the test lines will probably be quite faint at the moment. x

@4LeafCloverBaby absolutely a good shout! I was thinking leave it now for a few days and maybe test with the other clear blue I have as i brought a pack of 2, then its gotten a lot darker i will know for sure. If i test and i'm still unsure then buy pink dyes?

I really do think that is positive then! It’s a nice thick line which is what it should be 😊 I guess order some pink ones for delivery tomorrow if you can!!
