oh alright - will test when I get home and will let you know tomorrow or tonight if i manage to get on the pooter!

BigTeuchLittleTeuch · 26/03/2008 14:03

I find the best way to bring on period is to test - usually with one of the expensive ones!!

But then, I'm impatient and if not pregnant this month then I want next cycle underway asap!!

Good luck Pop!!

Bah to dogs...I have my own little naughty pup in the form of DS and that's enough work for me We have a 'working' dog, but no indoor pets, no sirree!

kayzisbroody · 26/03/2008 13:41

You know I said Dell were ringing well its half 1 and they havent rung. They said they would ring by half 1 as dh is at work later.

Bloody useless.

NatalieJane · 26/03/2008 13:39

The weekend????????

Get thee up't stairs and test woman!

Now!!!!!

Ahem, I mean, whenever you're ready......

popcornprincess · 26/03/2008 13:35

thanks - but don't hold yor breath ladies - luck and I just don't seem to go together. I'm going to try and wait until the weekend before I test again as its costing me a fortune.

kayzisbroody · 26/03/2008 13:31

We're quite prepared to groom everyday. we've done plenty of research on all the breeds we're interested in. Got mountains of books.

I hope you are pg Pop.

NatalieJane · 26/03/2008 13:27

Ooooooooh Pop, fingers crossed

I love the way this thread goes from normal day to day mutterings to all over excited about a possible tester

BeMyLilBaby · 26/03/2008 13:25

kays i'd be careful with shis tzu and bichon frise, as they would both need serious grooming at least every week, particularly a shihtszu cos when they get matted there hair pulls like ours does and they are in terrible pain, so are often nippy, we rescued one who was a snarling beast till we shaved him then he was a completely different dog lol you would have to view the mum and dad and look for pups reared in a pet environment cos they can be nippy lil buggers the smaller dogs lol

pop wen you gonna test again?

OP posts:
tinkerbell2 · 26/03/2008 13:25

good luck popp

kayzisbroody · 26/03/2008 13:09

You might be pg then. Our very first BFP.

popcornprincess · 26/03/2008 13:06

It was due yesterday. I tested on Sunday and got BFN.

kayzisbroody · 26/03/2008 13:03

We pretty much know the type of dog we want its just choosing the breed. I want a Maltese or a Shih Tzu, maybe a Bichon Frise. Its just choosing the one we want

BeMyLilBaby · 26/03/2008 13:01

hmm i see your point but a puppys gonna be hard work depending on breed,if i were you i would go for a soppy breed like a spaniel but you have to think of hair etc... Aslong as you have the time it would be fine i think. (My family has always bred dogs so if you need any help just ask!)

I am back to work now what a joy...not...honestly my so-worker fecks me right off!!!! Arg

rescue me ?! x

OP posts:
kayzisbroody · 26/03/2008 12:48

We want a puppy, if it was just dh and me we would get a rescue dog no questions asked but Im not risking it with ds around. You can never be sure what they will be like.

kayzisbroody · 26/03/2008 12:46

We need somewhere bigger and downstairs. We live in a first floor flat and its so hard carrying everything upstairs and having to wake up ds when we get home.

We have a tiny kitchen and tiny every room really and we want a garden.

We both love Whitby and think we'd love living there.

Im also trying to persuade my mum to let us build a house in her huge garden.

BeMyLilBaby · 26/03/2008 12:43

Kays my landlord allows our cats but we have to cover any damage upon leaving, if we had a dog we would of had to surrender 100 on leaving to have carpets steam cleaned which is fair enough i think, WHy is it you particularly want to move? what about guinea pigs, indoors? our are (and they're much happier indoors in general) they run around like lil dogs... mine actually terrorise our cats when they're out lol would you want a puppy or a dog? rescue centres are a gd place to start very need worhty doggies, my cats were rescues too

/NJ our SOH is similar i found it hilarious lol yup this time next week i'l be free and wagon-less... oh-er!

Pop have you tested???

OP posts:
kayzisbroody · 26/03/2008 12:39

Ooooh exciting Popcorn. When was/is af due?

popcornprincess · 26/03/2008 12:37

Laydeees - still no period!

kayzisbroody · 26/03/2008 12:32

We're getting some fish but they aren't the same as a dog really.

I do think that unless we find somewhere we can have a dog then renting isn't for us.

NatalieJane · 26/03/2008 12:29

I suppose you have to look at it from a landlords POV, if I was renting a house out, I wouldn't want a new puppy in there weeing and chewing everything.

How about a fish until a dog is more practical....? No? A mouse?

kayzisbroody · 26/03/2008 12:26

We dont have any pets but we are both desperate for a dog. We both had dogs growing up and we really want one.

NatalieJane · 26/03/2008 12:25

OK maybe our SOH isn't quite as warped as I thought.....!!

Oh and, BB off the wagon, exciting!!!
