Ok picture of Freddie with his new hair style is on my profile.

This is the dress I am wearing.

NatalieJane · 14/03/2008 11:59

What sort of pink Kay? In fact don't answer that, I really don't have time to be trawling the net for shoes right now!

I like new look for going out outfits (i.e. ones you only wear once or twice) I find their stuff goes out of shape too quickly for everyday wear. But then I am a bit prissy on clothes. Their socks are good though

Star, the house will look good, but I'll be stuck int he corner trying not to doze off all day!

Right I am going this time, everytime I think oh I'll have 5 minute on MN, it turns into half an hour

Starshinetiger · 14/03/2008 11:52

Diege, about DH's pressie, but agree with NJ - you'll just have to make it up to him !
Kay, for you about DS' haircut, but if it makes you feel any better, I haven't had anyone cut DS' hair (he's 18 months), but I cut it for him Saturday before Christmas, while he was in the bath and I cut fringe too short and it just looked awful - at least your DS hasn't had that experience cast on him by his Mum! I agree though, the first haircut does make them look all grown up all of a sudden!
excited though for you and DS for his christening - ooh, opportunity to buy pink shoes - my favourite kind and I don't even own any pink shoes at the mo!
NJ - just think how good you'll feel having a lovely spick and span house for the weekend and well done you for all the hard work!
Right, am so demotivated to work today - do have lots to do and as have got all the mega-urgent stuff done, would be an excellent opportunity to make progress on other stuff - someone give me a boot up the bum please !
LG&T - hugs to you and Hugo, hope the bug goes soon, it really is miserable for you and them when they're ill.
On a bright note, I had 9 hours sleep last night! - actually seeing as I'm on CD11, I'd better make the most of that being a good thing this month, as in a couple of months that'll be prime GOFing time, but given the disturbed week we've both had with DS trouble with teething and cold, it was sooooooo good! (Yes, we are such an old married couple)!!
Right, as usual am waffling. Catch you later.

Diege · 14/03/2008 11:51

Aww Kay, I hear that so often from friends who have little boys; I think with girls it just accentuates their cuteness, but baby boys look quite grown up with a proper haircut for some reason! He is still your little baby underneath the big-boy hair
NJ, no GOf-ing for dh, no siree (am cd3, so ewwwww.., though he wouldnlt mind ). Once again I am tired just reading about your cleaning Nat. I have to get the house straight-ish - well kitchen/lounge for dh's birthday 'tea' (MIL 'popping in' (cue 3 hour visit)) - still can't deny the old bird seeing her own son on his birthday I suppose .

kayzisbroody · 14/03/2008 11:43

Hello all,

Yes Diege the Christening os on Sunday. I have a pink dress and need some shoes to go with it.
I love New Look, it's probably my favourite shop.

Ds has just had his first haircut and I don't like it. He doesn't look like my little baby any more. He looks like a little boy.

NatalieJane · 14/03/2008 11:20

Cor it is quiet on here this morning! Never thought I'd say that sentence in this thread!!

Awwww Diege about DH's pressie, you will have to find a way of making it up to him tonight Was that a big loud "bugger orrrffff" I heard?

If I ever see a bottle of polish, a duster, a sponge, a spray bottle of cleaning stuff, a hoover, or a packet of baby wipes again, I may scream..... have so had enough of this blardy cleaning, still got tonnes to do, I can't be arsed with it, but MIL is here on Sunday and if it isn't spick and span (even though her house is filthy - I mean shoes sticking to her kitchen floor kind of filthy) she will only moan on about how she managed 5 kids and a house perfectly well, she didn't, she walked out on the lot of them when DH was 5, but that never seems to register.......

Anyway............ not doing it for her sake, it does need doing, just wish I didn't have to do it!!

Right back to it........

largeginandtonic · 14/03/2008 11:13

My feet are a size 4!!!!

Diege · 14/03/2008 10:02

Morning girls Good luck on the shoe hunting Kay - not too arduous a task methinks . Love shoes shopping, though often resort to getting them over the net which doesn't have quite the same 'buzz'. Must say I'm very impressed with New Look shoes, also French Connection, but end up living in Uggs in winter and Birkenstocks or flipflops in summer.
Bad luch Disenchanted (read other thread) - things are hard enough when af turns up without having had hopes rasied by crap tests .
Looking very good got you PINK - and if you are gof-iong in the meantime, that can only be good for a bfp, whenever it turns up!

dh's birthday today - parcel never did turn up . Dh went to depot all excited with 'missed parcel' card, but turned out it was that expensiev cardigan I'd ordered last week for dd3 . Hope weather holds for ds Nat - he will be so excited with bouncy castle! For you too Kay - is it the Christening this weekend?
Right, better get to the post office before the queue starts getting crazy.
Back later x

NatalieJane · 14/03/2008 09:07

My Mum is a size 8, she swears by cheap shoe shops, she says they always have the larger sizes in, where as if she goes to Debenhams/Next/Dolcies etc. they only have a size 8 in selected styles. Can't say I've ever taken much notice what sizes are there apart from a 6 (because that's my size!) but I know when I've been shopping for cheapy holiday sandle type shoes (A girl can never have enough flat toe thongs, there are white ones, beige ones, brown ones, orange ones, blue ones, red ones......!!), New Look and MKOne always have size 8's (and not much else I might add!)

I do like my shoes

kayzisbroody · 14/03/2008 08:46

I love shopping for shoes too. Its on of my favourite pastimes!!

I'm a size 7/8 depending on the shop. So it can be hard to find shoes.

pinkgirl30 · 14/03/2008 08:45

spk later girls off 2 have shower then do housework

BeMyLilBaby · 14/03/2008 08:42

aww bless hugs! NJ you've hit it right on the head there they've no idea that it wont last, thta reminds me a of a quite contraversial conv DP and i Had about if we discovered bad news at a scan, about disability... gawd i'd hate to be in that position...anyway dunno why i brought that up

Kays hope you can find some shoes, im a size 8 so i sometimes struggle!

NJ sounds like your gonna busy!

cant believe i am testing monday and friday already!!
i am buying easter eggs @ wknd

NatalieJane · 14/03/2008 08:39

I love shopping for shoes, shoes are my thing... problem is, I have that many pairs now, that when I buy a new outfit, I normally already have a pair of shoes that matches DH says he doesn't think he has ever seen me wearing the same shoes twice, which is a total lie and OTT, but it's not far wrong! LOL

When I am trying to find an outfit for something, I buy the shoes first and match outfit to shoes, I find it much easier, I'm not so good with the fashion side of things, but if I buy nice shoes, I will buy nice clothes to go with the nice shoes, so it makes sense in my head.... sort of!!

NatalieJane · 14/03/2008 08:35

Awwww poor little Hugo Not much fun for them, not much fun for anyone, but at least we understand what is going on, and that it won't last forever, they've no idea.

kayzisbroody · 14/03/2008 08:34

Aww Poor Hugo!!

I hope I can find some shoes tomorrow. Why do I always leave shoes to the last minute?

largeginandtonic · 14/03/2008 08:29

Morning all you lovely ladies. I am still drowning in nasty D&V poopr Hugs.

Dis implantation bleed? I have had that before right when AF was due, got a neg on crap test. Cried been sooo upset then went out and bought a clearblue and got a BFP!!! That was Hugs

NatalieJane · 14/03/2008 08:23

I am trying to stay away from the pramface talk, probably won't get chance to see it till next week, I don't want to know what happens!

Kay same here, DH is working tomorrow morning, while I get the house, well kitchen done, then we've got to do all the final preps, Sunday we've got his 'pretend birthday' (he is at school on his birthday, so he is having his pressies and stuff on Sunday) along with chicken nuggets and chips for dinner bleurghhhhhh, got family and friends coming round, then Monday it should be fairly quiet, but on Tuesday (his actual birthday) DH is off work, lots of GOF's in the morning while DS1 is at school, afternoon is his party, then more opening of pressies when we get back from party, and of course another birthday dinner (consisting of more chicken nuggets and chips ) I am knackered just thinking about it all!

Right spose I'd better go and 'save' DS1 from his cot! Lazy so and so, he has only just woken up!

pinkgirl30 · 14/03/2008 08:15

thanks nj
i recorded pramface looking forward to watching it later

lardylumps · 14/03/2008 08:14

LOL I only bought all of DS1's on.... what day was it I went to town? Tuesday? I can't remember, but then anyway! Normally I am usually ready before March even starts! I have wrapped about a third of them, got loads more to do before Sunday.

Pinkgirl, looking hopeful

CD11, I want to testttttttttttt LOL, I haven't even OV'ed yet LOL Still want to test! In fact, it isn't that I want to test, I want to skip through to CD28/29/30 and be able to test! But then I'd have skipped over his birthday and party, so maybe I had better just wait it out afterall!
