Morning Teuch - like your self-proposed synopsis on the Times thread - made me chuckle
From my experience on this TTC thread alone it's very accurate!!
Mornin' all!

BigTeuchLittleTeuch · 16/03/2008 09:00

Aw Diege...that was not what I wanted to read this morning! bleeeeugh!!

Morning Pink!

Girl's night out last night...just don't get enough of those! It's great to get to know some of the younger girls over a few wines. One of the other girls is tcc too so, although I tried not to give to much away, she kinda sussed we are too

It would be lovely to ahve someone else around with a baby, and also means schoolmate for DC2 if the timing is right...I hate the thought of them havingto go into school themselves (well, the only one in their year!) and having to go away to high school themselves

pinkgirl30 · 16/03/2008 08:36

morning ladies

Diege · 15/03/2008 21:06

Moosma, although I should add I've only been able to think about eating it again after my mum commented to me that I looked like I was eating a goldfish sandwich last time I tucked in!
Hi Star! Enjoy your pudding

MoosMa · 15/03/2008 19:57

Diege, we are so very very much not the same person - smoked salmon - bleurgh!

Starshinetiger · 15/03/2008 19:24

I can just about cope with the level of posting on Saturdays - not so much to catch up on.
Moos - I so empathise with you. I want to tell everyone that we're planning to try for DC2 in a couple of months. Last week was at my Mum's and her friend's daughter is expecting DC2 - her DD is 6 months older than my DS, so if all goes to plan, our DC2 will be 6 months apart too. Wanted to tell my Mum, but can't - it's sooo hard - what did people do before Mumsnet?!
Cal - As far as I know your DS can have smoked salmon - my DS did at 15 months too and he loved it (typical, expensive tastes - wonder where he got that from?! ) - it didn't seem to do any harm either. HTH
NJ - glad you say that about scans pictures, I'm pretty useless with them too , but will try again with your DS Cal, seeing as everyone else can obviously see it!
Right, must go and cook dinner for DH, as he is putting DS to bed.
Not planning on being back on this evening as think we'll be having pudding tonight too !
Night all!

Diege · 15/03/2008 19:23

Hi Cal! Smoked salmon is absolutely fine (I've had a good look through the internet for you). The only thing they said to avoid fish-wise for babies was shell-fish, and that's only till 6 months.
Mmm, could really eat some now actually, on thinly cut brown toast with lemon juice....

calsworld · 15/03/2008 18:37

Hi all, I see you've been busy again. cd4 but starting to calm down now - not so much tummy ache, less tears .

Did someone ask how to view a profile? just click on the posters name, e.g.

By calsworld on Sat 15-Mar-08

Just click on calsworld and it will open my profile pages in a new screen (or tab depending on if you use internet explore or firefox). Scroll to the bottom for a link to my photos.

NJ - Tis funny thing about that scan, its been fairly evenly split down the middle with half seeing his face straight away and the other half pointing out legs and arms...in reality at 36 weeks they can only get a small amount in the frame at a time because of how big they are compared to at 12 or 20 weeks.

When we first got the photo, I was really worrying about his nose! It looked like a big squashy boxers nose!! Silly me.

I hadn't spotted the similarity between the photos - wonder if that's why the one of him sleeping seems so special to me?

If anyone's about, can DS (15ish months) have smoked salmon? Is everything fair game from 12 months?

lardylumps · 15/03/2008 17:54

lardylumps · 15/03/2008 16:09

Cramps are all gone no sign of Af and my mood has improved (not snappy or upset anymore) so hopefully all is ok...

Diege · 15/03/2008 15:37

Thanks Moosma (don't worry Cosmo, I can't even figure out how to cut and paste on mumsnet). Our list looks very impressive!

Ok, so I found the latest list on the old thread but it won't let me paste it think it is too long.....I'll wait for someone more tech savvy to come along and post it. When they do, could you change my starting month to Oct/Nov, please? Seeing it in black and white might help it sink in!

Cosmogirl · 15/03/2008 15:04

We need to drag the list over from the old thread to keep track of who's starting when.

pinkgirl30 · 15/03/2008 14:57

thanks all

MoosMa · 15/03/2008 14:44

Not yet LL, but it's right at the front of my mind, all the time. You know how it is when you're excited about something it's all you can talk about, but it's a secret so you can't..... ARRRRGH, I think my brain might pop!

Diege · 15/03/2008 14:39

Cosmo, if only they knew eh
Moosma, that's very sweet of your dd . I've 'broached' the subject with my dds and they are very excited too! The older 2 know about the pregnanct vitamins I've been taking, and yesterday when I talked to dh about getting rid of the dds vits (they have some truly horrible omega 3 ones that are gaggable) dds 1&2 piped up, 'Noooo! What about our baby brother or sister????' . DD1 was very relived when I said I was still taking mine too!
dd3 is funny though - very jealous when I hold the baby annabel doll. She dragged it off me the other day saying to it 'no no no, MY mummy'

lardylumps · 15/03/2008 14:31

moosma are you TTc now sorry i get mixed up..

Cosmogirl · 15/03/2008 14:20

Aww bless Moosma - it is tough not to talk about it with RL people I find - esp close family and friends. I find it is often on the tip of my tongue but I manage not to say too much. Often I just talk around the subject 'yes we want kids one day....' as opposed to 'yes, I am off the pill, taking folic acid and logging onto mumsnet and celebrity baby blog daily'!!!
