Oops, realised I had sworn a bit too much in the post, so thought I deleted the first line of 'Blardy hell, anyone ready for bed'! LOL

Shite day, I haven't sworn enough!

kayzisbroody · 17/03/2008 16:00

Hello everyone,

Nat, your mil sounds really bad, and I moan about mine.

Ds and I had a really long nap. Then we went to Polly's to get some sweets. So I've got some Cola Cubes and Mint Creams. Yummy!!!

Can someone tell me what CD I'm on??

I had my AF last Sunday and I'm being dumb today and cant work it out.

NatalieJane · 17/03/2008 15:57

LOL Now now Diege, that is not in the spirit of TTC'ing is it?!

Gawd, why are families so bloody difficult? Normally we all get along, (that is mum and my 4 sisters) there is a couple of us closer than others, and a couple of long running but not talked about narkiness going on under that big rug that things get swept under, but every now and then there is a blow up, I had mum on the phone this morning moaning about one sister (the one we stayed with weekend before last, my favourite sister to boot!) and then had favourite sister on the phone for an hour this afternoon moaning about mum and another sister. Now I don't mind moaning, I can moan with the best of 'em, and my sister has a valid point that I won't go into because I think MIL rant above nearly conked my pooter out, and and my mums moans points are also valid, but do I really have to be the one that has to listen to it for an hour and half everytime something happens? And I wouldn't mind but the pair of them are so bloody stubburn on one hand, but then on the other trying so hard to not piss each other off, and what do they do? Piss me off instead! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Not a good day today, DS2 is teething, poor little soul doesn't know what to do with himself, DH is going to be late tonight (am getting a bit pissed off with his boss at the moment, why can't he just let DH get another engineer, DH is doing 3 peoples jobs, no wonder the poor bloke is late home) Been waiting for the workmen to knock on door to say they have crushed/put dent in/scratched/written off (OK not that!) the car, had next door neighbour collor me on way back from school, so froze my tits off while she get's to unload all her juicy gossip about the vein in her leg and her grandkids (and their best friends mums, aunt, who used to live there, but now lives over there, her hubby has piles...... etc. etc.)

Oh and, I still don't know if 4 of the kids invited to DS1's party are coming or not, I have to ring and let them know the numbers, but I don't bloody know the numbers! And at £5.50 per head, I don't fancy paying for them if they aren't going to show up. 3 of the kids belong to the dickhead who nearly ran over DS1's foot the other week, so I suspect he is being arsey in not replying because I told the teacher on him!!

Blardy hell, anyone ready for bed?!!

Anyone ready for bed?!

Christobel79 · 17/03/2008 15:52

Hi Diege. Ahhh December baby . . .

Diege · 17/03/2008 14:25

Hmmm, ok, no sides as such, but surely we need little 'ridges' at the sides, if not for health and safety reasons (ie, we wouldn't want people falling out without their consent now would we? [who can tell I've just been filling in NHS forms??).
Hi Christobel . Lots of Gof-fing for you then???
I think there are more off than on the very flimsily designed wagon now then??? Must say I was tempted to just jump off the damn thing this morning, but then remembered the whole December baby thing . Not so bothered about xmas birthday, but I do so want to get some wear out of my isabella oliver dress on Xmas day

BeMyLilBaby · 17/03/2008 14:17

hello everyone, just been catching up with this thread - all this clinging on to the wagon/ falling off is very exciting (Playing and Cosmo esp. .. come and join me !!) I am on day 12 today and things seemed to have settled into a regular pattern so going to aim to have a serious go at baby making at the end of this week I think . ..how exciting!

NatalieJane · 17/03/2008 13:55

LOL, There are no sides either, well there is but not ones that you could tip over, it has a roof and no windows remember, You're either in it, on it, or out of it.... hmmmm we've not thought this one very well have we?!!

He's not bad I spose...!! No, he is seriously gorgeous, even if I do say so myself! I don't know if you can see in the photo but he has the most amazingly long eye lashes, and when awake, has huge gorgeous eyes, he is very scrumptious Me? Boasting? Never.....

Playingthewaitinggame · 17/03/2008 13:53

I'm not falling over the side yet!!!!! No No No, but if the road is too bumpy I might just slip....

Diege · 17/03/2008 13:51

Awww, I want a little boy!!! He is gorgeous Nat!
Emmm, on the wagon-window front, yes you're right . So, Playing is tipping straight out over the side then with the rest of you..

NatalieJane · 17/03/2008 13:43

Don't be fooled, 'tis only because he's asleep!

Playingthewaitinggame · 17/03/2008 13:42

Awww Natalie, he looks so sweet!

NatalieJane · 17/03/2008 13:35

Have just put a picture of DS2 on my profile, bless him, he is well away

NatalieJane · 17/03/2008 13:30

Hey, I thought wagons didn't have windows?

NatalieJane · 17/03/2008 13:22

Fingers crossed we are doing, as soon as house is ready and on market, and then (if it) sells, we are off.

Playingthewaitinggame · 17/03/2008 13:20

Deige , thats probably about right!!

Nat - [shock, can't really say anything else, not surpirsed you don't like her, I wouldn't!

Diege · 17/03/2008 13:19

NJ!!! Is moving a long, long way away an option?? Seriously....

Diege · 17/03/2008 13:15

Playing may well still be in the back row of the wagon, but her seat belt has strangely become UNFASTENED and if she's not carefull she will fall up the aisle or even out of the window!!!

NatalieJane · 17/03/2008 13:15

PMSL beat you up??? Can't help but have a little snigger as well though! Sorry!

Seriously it would take me all day to go through all that she has done. A few of the things though:

1: I think I mentioned she left DH when he was 5 years old, with his 4 brothers and sister and an alcoholic/violent dad, to run off with a man who she ended up marrying? Her DH2 died about 18 months after DH and I got together.

2: She then about 3 years ago went on to meet a man off the net. He seemed quite nice, some company for her, we had them over for dinner etc. a few times. About 6 months after they got together he asked her to marry him, she accepted, was all seeming lovely, until she told us that he was a convicted child rapist, who had spent 2 years in jail for it, but he was of course innocent. It turned out she had known all along about him, let him take DS1 to the toilets in a restaurent, invited him into our home, let him sit on our sofa, drink out of our mugs, I know that sounds OTT, but it still makes my skin crawl now. It turned out that if she hadn't have told us about him, then the police would have because of him being on the Sex Ofenders Register, and marrying her, apparently they have to tell all members of imediate family of his past, so that was the only reason she told us.

We obviously don't have a say over who she has in her life, but there was no way we were taking DS1 anywhere near him. So we went for a few months where we would only go and see her if he was away from the house. He eventually called it off because he felt we had ruined it between them. She then admitted that she did think had raped his foster kids, then xmas before last she was still on her own, so sent him an xmas card and was pissed off when he didn't send one back. So she admits she thinks he was guilty of abusing and raping these two girls, but she wanted a xmas card from him?

3: (or have you had enough?!!!) She asked us to buy a car for her, that she would give us the money for each month, but she has a crap credit file and couldn't get the credit, we agreed. She can only drive automatics, she found a car, was £2,600, deal was she'd give us £60 a month to pay the loan off, she kept it for 6 months, paid us about £30 altogether over the 6 months, and then she sold it for £600 and kept the money, because she wanted a new computer. So we were obviously left with the loan, which we couldn't just stop paying because that would have fucked us up.

4: (last example for now, I promise, I have warned not to get me started on her!!) Back ground, she eventually got over the pervert, and was now with her (now DH) DP. When I was about 33 weeks with DS2, I suddenly started getting very close strong contractions, they stopped after an hour, and because we don't have anyone to look after DS1 except MIL, (and she won't even look after him once every 6 months for us to go out or anything, we've not been out as a couple for about 2 and a half years!) we couldn't just drop everything there and then and go to the hospital, I had a routine MW appointment booked for the next day and since the contractions stopped after an hour, we decided to wait till the next day. MW next day sent me to consultants the day after with instructions of it happened again I was to go to labour ward imediatly, in an ambulance if needed. So DH rings MIL tell's her what's gone on, asks if she would come and stay at our house that night incase it kicked off (baring in mind I was 33 weeks pregnant, would have been a bit hit and miss for DS2 if he'd have been born then, and the fact that she knows we don't have anyone to ask, and that she had agreed to look after him for us when I went into labour anyway) she said she couldn't come and stay at ours because her cats would be left at home alone, her then DP would have been at home with the sodding cats.

Fuck me that took ages to type! Sorry, I think it might be hugeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! You did ask!

Diege · 17/03/2008 13:13

BB!! You are a very tolerant - I can't always just smile nicely when I get the snipey comments from mine! I should feel sorry for her, but she doesn bring out the worst in me .
Nat, I really don't like the sound of your MIL.. I understand about the 'intent' thing - I think you can be a bitch in what you see/intend to be the outcome, though 'deliver' your actions in a non-malicous way! Oh and I'm handing the 1950s frilly apron back...it doesn't suit me and I need to get back to my slatterny ways asap!
Kay, a nap and then a galaxy sounds good to me

Playingthewaitinggame · 17/03/2008 13:12

No it hasn't, not slipping yet at all!! Might go for it a couple of months earlier than planned or might still hold out. Not sure yet. Either way, I still need to wait for a little bit longer!

BeMyLilBaby · 17/03/2008 13:09

playing... i can see you...your foot has just slipped offa the wagon and the rest of you is gonna follow!!! "goan goan goan"!!!

Hello.

Sorry you've had such probs with you sis Kay!

Seems like I get off pretty lightly with my family!! MY MIL is fine, I struggled with her for a few years but not as much as my FIL, took him about 6 years to warm to me. Now I get on pretty well with them (I actually lived with them for 9 months). Thats not to say I agree with everything they do, my DH was brought up very differently to me and I prefer my parents way!!

As for brothers and sisters, I love both of mine to bits and they are my close friends. In fact over the weekend it was decided that my brother was going to move in with us for a few months as a sort of stepping stone into his own place (he's still living at home with Mum and Dad). I'm actually really looking forward to it, we all get on well, and although living together will not nec be easy for £400 extra pounds a month its worth it! Ok so that includes food but still, might bring ttc closer or if I am strong still hold out to Sept and actually have some savings

BeMyLilBaby · 17/03/2008 13:00

yup me and DP had just broke up (were apart for a year) and we bumped into each other in the gym and she started being vile so i walked off and she followed me and was literally pushing the other side of the door....it was all v dramatic lol my then BF had to come rescue me.... it was so awkward wen we first got back together but she's ok now (ish) she'l nev be my fave pers but she's pleasant now....
