Very windy here too Diege, rainy too and DH is working all day so I'm house bound

Flight, we'll try to keep the wagon trundling along for you to jump on when you're ready. Maybe when we're down to fewer people we'll do some repairs?

MoosMa · 21/03/2008 11:32

Happy birthday Cal!

TMI TMI TMI TMI TMI TMI TMI

So I'm on CD9 of my first cycle after coming off the pill and I have a lot of cm, clearish but pink tinged (I did warn you!), what could it mean?

Diege · 21/03/2008 11:26

Will keep a seat warm for you

Flight · 21/03/2008 11:19

Oh thankyou so much for explaining. It all becomes clear

I am waiting to find a partner first, before I can begin to think about babies...ds2 is 9 months old and ds1 is four.

So yes...but I shall be along presently

Diege · 21/03/2008 11:15

Hi Flight . Well, we all started off firmly sitting, strapped in, on the wagon that is waiting to ttc (various reasons for waiting from work, to avoiding sickness during hols, financial reasons etc). And then gradually people have been heading toward the door of the wagon (is there a door?) and just jumping! Now the wagon is very much a decrepid, crumpling vehicle, although there are SOME of us I should say that are still clinging on to the sides!!
Hope this makes things clearer! . Are you wanting to climb on the wagon yourself? [lots of room!!]

Flight · 21/03/2008 10:59

Ladies I hope you don't mind me asking about the thread title, it is brilliant and has been bugging me for ages now so I thought I would ask where it comes from!

Btw may I take this opportunity ofwishing you a Happy Easter with lots of the right kind of eggs

Diege · 21/03/2008 10:54

Happy Birthday Cals!!! . Hope you have a lovely day - your plans sound great . Errr, one question though: what is a tomtom?? Not referring to the drums I presume
Have been 'forward planning', and thinking that if I get pregnant first cycle (remote chance) my EDD would be around the first week in Jan. Not sure about this as dd1 and 2 were both 5 days early, and dd3 6 days early, so obviously a pattern emerging...plus subsequent babies are meant to get gradually earlier according to my midwife...Too risky maybe re: xmas baby? But if I miss out April, I only have May before missing out June, etc etc...god I'm boring myself here...
Very windy day here! Am taking dds 1&2 to a party this afternoon which will be OK but for my conjunctivitus being back...whinge whinge..
Hope everyone has a great BH, and hopefully speak later!

calsworld · 21/03/2008 09:13

Morning all! Its my birthday today! .

Got cards from DS and DH at 6.45 and I've been given a case for my ipod and DH has bought me a TOMTOM! I'm so excited I need to drive somewhere!!!

DS has very thoughfully bought me a case to put the tomtom in so that it doesn't get scratched in my handbag!

DS is looking a little sleepy so hoping to go back to bed now and have a late lie-in! I'm off out to dinner tonight with a couple of GF's, DH is staying home with DS, kinda feel guilty for going out but I never go out...tomorrow we're going to MIL's down south, so should be fairly restful weekend for me - she takes over DS and its easier just to let her, and she's a bit of a superwoman and does all the cooking too - her house is always beautiful and yes, she works full time. Although she doesn't have kids at home so guess maybe that's the key!

Anyhoo, I'm really rambling, have a lovely Easter weekend all!

tinkerbell2 · 21/03/2008 08:32

morning ladies happy good friday
cd 55 for me no af lots of ewcm this morning

kayzisbroody · 21/03/2008 08:09

Good Morning,

Had nice gof last night.

But I woke up at half 5 and couldn't get back to sleep so got up at half 6 why can't my body realise it's a bank holiday??

Hope everyone has good days.

Diege · 20/03/2008 19:52

Evening! Have had a busy one today, so only just getting a chance now to get on computer.
Good going on the decorating Nat. Think it's one of those things you either really 'get'and can do reasonably well, or it's an uphill struggle all the way. Have bad memories of wallpapering years ago and the damn paper ripping etc etc.. Think of the sense of acheivement when it's done though! .
Just thinking that a lot of us seem to be in the same sort of place in our cycles (cd 8/9) [well, 3 of us] - hey maybe we've 'synchronised' like women who live/work together sometimes do .
Can't believe this is my last sycle now till ttc (I think???). My shortened cycles have brought it all closer!
Hope everyone has a good bank holiday. I can't stop thinking it's Friday for some reason!

NatalieJane · 20/03/2008 17:39

Hiya desserter Cal It has been v. quiet on here with out you! You will be fine missing out the weekend, though you could always leave DS with PIL's and go and find a nice quiet dark country road somewhere God I miss car sex. Ermmmm that is sex in the car, not with the car, or any of it's mechanics! Busy at work?

LMAO Tink, yes can see the picture you were conjuring up! But I have finished the striping, even managed to slap a bit of paint on, just to check the colour mind, don't like it, will carry on to use it as an undercoat, but will have to get a different colour for final finish. I hate it when the reality doesn't match the picture in your head....

Am going to have a nice long soak tonight, shower is deadened DH can fit another one but he needs the daylight, he can't switch the light on in the bathroom and do it because he needs the electric off.... so guess what he is doing at the weekend?!

Spose I'd better get their tea on in a bit.

tinkerbell2 · 20/03/2008 17:05

hi ladies k oh yes he does look like his dad 2 especially the hair!!
nj i hate wallpapering too!! we painted over our bedroom wallpaper 2!!
i love painting quite therapeutic!! think i prefer using a brush as tend to get covered using a roller!!
glad that i knew what you were talking about when you said off to finish stripping lol had odd images involving just he bonnet lol

calsworld · 20/03/2008 15:48

hi all, sorry I've been away so long, i've tried to catch up but am struggling.

AF has only just tiptoed out the door completely (was a long one) am now on CD8 so BD last night and tonight and Friday night but will be tricky Sat/Sun as at inlaws but will BD again on Monday which is CD12 then all next week...

Does that cover me? I think I'll be crackered!

NatalieJane · 20/03/2008 15:15

Awww DS1 has just brought me home an easter bonnet that he made for me, and he won an easter egg in the easter draw, and he says he won it for me, I love that boy

Off to finish stripping (only got behind the raditor to go, yipeeeeeeeeeeee!) wearing my lovely bonnet!

kayzisbroody · 20/03/2008 13:35

Thats good then. I was really worried then.

NatalieJane · 20/03/2008 13:27

GOF tonight should be fine I think you get the EWCM in preperation for OV'ing, (is that right?!) so GOF tonight, tomorrow morning and tomorrow night, maybe Sat morning as well should see you fit, if exhausted!!

kayzisbroody · 20/03/2008 13:23

TMI ALERT!!!!!!!!!

I have just been to the loo and got a load of ewcm. We didn't have a gof as I was exhausted. Does this mean we've missed the window to concieve or will having a gof tonight mean we still stand to have a good chance?

Where is teuch the ttc fountain of knowledge when you need her???

Oh and I nearly but decided it was too late bought some OV test kits as they were only £5

NatalieJane · 20/03/2008 11:56

Awww Kay, looks like he was having fun

Have done 2 full walls down to the plaster, the other two walls are almost done, got most of the paper off, just parts where there is another couple of layers, and then around the windows and behind the raditor to go. I think my arm thinks it is going to shrivel up and die. I blardy hate stripping wallpaper, the whole house was covered in the stuff when we moved in, this is the last room to go, though we did cheat in our room and paint over the wallpaper, but it had to be done, the paper that was in there was the scariest thing I have seen in my life!

Should hopefully get the rest done today, let it dry over the weekend night, and get it painted next week tomorrow, that is the bit I love Never happier than when I have a paint roller in my hand! Just don't like doing it when DH is here, he get's all uppity and thinks he knows what he's doing when he hasn't got a clue! I remember doing DS1's room, MIL was here and she said she has never known him even pick up a paint brush before, I have been making a mess of decorating since I was about 12, I think the longest my room sayed the same colour was about 3 months!

popcornprincess · 20/03/2008 11:48
