I did one yesterday and could see a line so could DH (within 10 mins) but it was unbelieveably faint.

I did another this morning and its the same.

At first it looks like nothings there but if you take it to th window , tilt it ect then you can see some thing.

Am worried its just the line that soaks up the dye or soemthing,

Ive been nauseus for 3 days (due fri/sat) but I cant even begin to think I am becasue this happened last cycle too,

tho DH confirmed this line this time.

TIA

I have had this twice now very faint lines on an ebay cheapie that turned into BFPs. I don't rate ebay cheapies until you are about a week late thats when I got a definite dark positive on them.

What I did was do a test in plain water the same time as the urine test, I was getting the faintest line on the urine one but nothing on the water.

Those tests drive you mad.

I had a very faint dot that was def positive 2 days later.

Disenchanted · 12/03/2008 17:11

Dungirl I agree,

I just did a tescos brand one and its BFN 8I think

Ive given my HPTS to DH (3 cheapies the other tesco and a CB digital, lol) to hid and hes going to give me one on Saturday morning!

Hi ladies thanks!

I used a clearblue test.
I tried it 3 days ago and even after 10 minutes there was nothing.

But last night there was something! So I don't know!

I have got a clearblue digital to use on Saturday morning, so fingers crossed!

I think my HCG levels aren't very high as when I was pregnant with my DS who is now 3, I only got a very very faint line and that was once I was 10 days late!

I hope that 'a line is a line' will turn out to be true!

bohemianbint · 12/03/2008 12:10

I had a similar thing and also started to feel almost immediately...odd. Am now 17 weeks.

Good luck!

biglips · 12/03/2008 12:08

hmm unsure as you didnt get a line after 10 -15mins which is usually a evap. buy a cb digital and they will reassure your mind. i used them at 4 days before AF was due.

helenelisabeth · 12/03/2008 12:07

I also say a line is a line - I would say you are pregnant if you can even see a faint line. I did a PG test 4 days before AF was due with DD1, had a very very faint line and woe behold, she is 5 now!

I hope a big congratulations is due to you as well DungunGirl!

beaniesteve · 12/03/2008 12:04

If you don't get one within the first 3 minutes then I don't think you can count it as a positive result.

What test did you use? If you didn't use Clearblue then I would go and buy one and test again!

You could be but anything after teh first few minutes could be an evaporation line.

Have you recently come off the pill? Are your cycles regular?

Good Luck!

Jackstini · 12/03/2008 12:04

Yes - had a faint line on first response and then a bfp on clearblue digital 4 days later.
good luck to you!

DungunGirl · 12/03/2008 12:02

Hi ladies

my AF is 7 -10 days late and i tested last night and got a very very faint pink line after about 10-15 minutes.

I don't know what to think!!!!

luvaduck · 12/03/2008 11:36

yep me too, was BFP the next day.
also felt a bit sick at 4 weeks - but it didn't get any worse and went by 6 weeks...
good luck!

Disenchanted · 12/03/2008 11:34

Yes, v faint line on a wed evening so did test first thing thurs morning and got a clearer line but still fairly faint. Had already had 1 negative before that but feeling sick from 6 days before BFP on the thursday. And now have a 7 month old DD. Best of luck

Hersetta · 12/03/2008 11:24

Yep, my line was so faint i missed it at first and threw the stick in the bin and had my shower. Got out the shower and for some reason got the stick out of the bathroom bin and stared hard at it and saw the faintest of faint lines. Another test the next day (the day AF was due) produced the same result so then waited 4 days and got a really dark line within seconds. The result, our DD, is now 6 months old!!

SparklyGothKat · 12/03/2008 11:15

yes and the result was DS2!!

Disenchanted · 12/03/2008 11:11

Lol,

thats exactly what ive been doing!

And yours was + in the end?

I remember that feeling, looking at it under a lamp, in the daylight, out in the garden, blurring my eyes whilst looking!!! Hence the 7 tests!!!

Disenchanted · 12/03/2008 11:00

thanks, still wont believe it till i can walk away and still see it IYKWIM

Hopeysgirlwasntbig · 12/03/2008 10:26

I had a VERY faint line with my 3rd, 6 faint lines later I was convinced!! DD is 6 months old now.

A line is a line!!

Congrats

shrinkingsagpuss · 12/03/2008 10:25

disenchanted - got pg 3 months later now have dd!!

fingers crossed for you. get gp to do test, say our're not sure

NoNickname · 12/03/2008 10:12

I had a very feint line at 3w+2, which I described at the time as like a "dark white". It became a good positive at 3w+5, but ended in a mc at 7w.

Tinkerisdead · 12/03/2008 10:07

I had a feint line and did further tests and all had the feint line. when i lined them all up alonside each other you could clearly see two lines. it was much easier to see across four tests next to each other than examining one tiny strip. i used early tests from baby mad. 5 for about 3 quid so i didnt mind using them all. someone else posted a website on here the other day about reading feint lines.

as someone else said, a line is a line. congrats xx

Disenchanted · 12/03/2008 10:04

Oh sorry to hear that SSP.

I am testing early, not due for 2/3 days.

Im 11DPO today and got a negative at 11DPO with DS2 so I know I should just be patient!

ooh, sounds horrid disenchanted I had dreadful sickness with both mine too, but didn't start until 6 weeks or so. I guess I thought that if your hormones were high enough to cause sickness, they would be high enough to give a clear BFP? But maybe its a different hormone? I don't really know understand these things, so ignore me
