Due around March 24th and want to 2ww?

Hmm, not much action on this thread lately. Another day ahead! I feel ever so slightly nauseous and keep telling myself it's because I'll get af soon...!
Can't decide whether to buy a test, my last chance to buy one will be tomorrow really because I'm busy Easter weekend...
So who's left waiting around?!

i dont know if my gp will do blood test for pg. Im going to be doing a test weds regardless of wether or not i come on as i am seeing an orthopaedic consultant for my back and she prob doing xray so i'll need to know for def either way. Still no sign but still feeling very crampy and have been for over a week

Hi Mad, if today is dy28, then give it a couple more days (easy for me to say!) then do another test. or you can go and have a blood test...will tell you for sure!

i keep looking at my boobs to see if they are changing yet. my CM has gone all thick as to be expected.
i have a blood test scheduled for tues (tomorrow) to make sure that i did ovulate last wed/thurs. i know this is my first cycle ttc DC2, but due to my age, my gynae does not want me to waste time. so if i did not ovulate then i will start taking clomid next cycle.
i read somewhere that the earliest test would be a blood test, 6 days post ovulation.

how are you holding up today? i have a major distraction - DS is sick with chest infection. so less time for me to brood...

guys?? When would you say im due on? Today is 28, bfn yesterday.. just feeling crappy so guess not good sign. When would you test if af doesnt turn up today?

hey heron ive been like that and due on from tomorrow to next sat!! Im not sure which day as came off pill 5 months ago and have been 28,33,30,28 so im so frustrated at the moment the not knowing when.... no sign of af yet but then might not come on till sat in which case it wouldnt be a sign yet!

i am getting low back pain, odd twinge, tiredness, sore boobs, all signs of AF as well, i know!

i will have to wait till 24th mar to do HPT.

morning all! i am so ashamed , it is only 4 days past ovulation and i could not control myself and did a HPT of course it was BFN! what did i expect???

they are clearblue digital. ive been using them off ebay from babymad..

What are the new trendy pg tests by the way? Which is the one that actually says PREGNANT?

Oh, sad for you "mad"! But at least you'll get some other health issues sorted in the meantime? I hope they're not serious, I suppose not if you're ttc...
I was in the chemists yesterday and it was all I could do not to buy a test! Another whole week at least!

welll. i did a test this am and bfn. Kind of expected it. Im due on sometime between mon-fri this coming week. Supposed to be having xray weds for my back (as long as not pg) and possibly scans in next few weeks so looks like i am going to have to stop for a month which im really sad about as really getting into it all now

Hi Shu, i know just what you mean about being so hard to not say anything! every conversation i have, i feel like talking about pregnancy, conception, periods, test strips, ovulations!

even chatting with DH, i have to really censor myself not to go on and on about it all!

i am going to focus on knitting (for my yet to be baby) to get me through!
i made a pair of bootes already!

It's hard not thinking about it all the time, isn't it? I was at my sister's for a few days and it was all I could do not to say something! I have lots on Easter weekend too to get me that far... then roll on Monday!

Bright, if you got a +ve on thurs, then you are likely to ovulate 12-36 hrs after. so either today or tomorrow. so lots of BD tonight and tomorrow

Hi All, I would have ov'ed on 12th - 13th march, AF is due on 27th Mar. This is my first cycle ttc, already have a DS who is nearly 4 yrs old

My test strips came in the post today and i could not help myself and wasted a test strip by doing a test. i am just so excited i could not wait

i think we are all on pretty much the same cycle.

How do I stop thinking and obsessing about when i can test? any ideas?

Yep teuch its this week. Im not sure what my LP is as this is my 1st cycle of ttc and the 1st time ive paid any attention to this stuff! So if i got a +ve thur but -ve today do you think i ovulated yesterday? Thanks for the help!x

Bright - your LP shouldn't vary, but your day of OV can. If you usually have LP of, say, 12 days it should only vary by 1 day max, so you should amend AF due-date by ovulation.

Also, the surge comes before ovulation - usually 12-36 hours after surge so I would assume Thur/Fri at earliest for OV. DOes that make sense? Is that this week? If so, we are on similar cycles. +OPK this morning for me, so assuming OV later today or tomorrow (I seem to have a quick succession of surge/OV).
