@Skye49 thanks but it's ok as I knew in my heart they were indents ( deliberately didn't dtd around fertile window too much as I had surgery) but it just goes to show that these tests really can give lines that make people think that there might be something in it. I really hope I'm wrong and it is the start of your BFP though xx

Sez281 · 16/11/2023 19:02

I've attached my tests so you can see the lines and the bloods have confirmed no hcg. The boots one is very similar to yours 😣

@Skye49 I completely understand your frustration. Especially not knowing where you are in your cycle. Unfortunately they all look like indents to me. I hope I'm wrong but I had the exact same lines on a few easy@homes and a boots early detection his week. I had to test as was going in for surgery yesterday. After I saw the faint lines I freaked out knowing there was no way I could go ahead with the procedure but the doc did bloods and my hcg came back as negative for pregnancy. I think if the lines from 2 days ago haven't gotten any darker for you then you might unfortunately be in the same position as me. I hope I'm wrong but I'd say for now try and leave it a few days before testing again and if nothing has happened by then maybe call your gp x

If i am pregnant i have no idea how far along i would be or what dpo i am. My periods are so wack. The boots own early test has got a tiny bit darker now its dry but i know u cant look at them after the time window. I dont know i just want answers. Hate the not knowing whats going on. I dont feel like a digital would help with how faint the lines are. Have tried ebay and amazon for first response but got nothing. X

The boots own early test has got darker since i did it. Them photos where taken at 3 mins of doing the test. But i do agree if this was a real pregnancy i would of thought the lines would be getting darker. Might ask my doctor for blood work on monday. X

There are definitely lines on all your tests. When very very early, the difference in line darkness can be minimal if there at all.

This is because very sensitive tests show a line from 10miu, but the difference between 10miu and 20miu is virtually non existent, then there's the issue of fluid intake and urine dilution day-to-day.

It is, of course, possible that your pregnancy is unfortunately not progressing as it should be and will result in a chemical pregnancy, but that's not guaranteed just because lines aren't getting darker yet.

It might sound counterintuitive but try on higher sensitivity tests, you can also try a clearblue digital to get a definitive answer as to whether you are currently pregnant or not (I'd say you are).

My line progression was pretty much nothing over 3 or 4 days, but I'm very much still pregnant.

Oh, also, I believe frer has been discontinued in the UK. You can buy them on amazon but they could be fakes. Boots one is now actually considered the best early brand. I just used cheap £1 clear and simple midstream tests (but I dipped them).

MrBigsCat · 16/11/2023 16:18

I agree about first response they are so hard to find in shops! Try Amazon or eBay though.
I see something faint on these tests but would have expected a bit darker leaving it 48 hours since the last ones?

Skye49 · 16/11/2023 14:44

This mornings test do they look darker?

Its such a relief you guys can see it to. I really started thinking i was going mad and seeing things. Im gonna stick with my wondfos and if the line starts getting darker ill get a better brand of test. The other brand of stick test i got off amazon are useless. Cant even take a photo of the line coz it just shows up all blury and like someones put there finger print over the window where the lines are. X

Puppupandaway · 14/11/2023 22:22

I can definitely see a faint line on the tests. Fingers crossed for you!

Unitedthebest · 14/11/2023 22:20

I can see lines 😊Try the boots early test xx

Skye49 · 14/11/2023 22:19

Not gonna lie its so nice that someone else sees the lines and im not just going mad, thank u. Yeah maybe, i have no idea what dpo i am so could be to early. Only time will tell. If im still getting the same faint line by next week then i think ill go to my doctors and ask for blood work. The wondfos are 10hcg. Does you know where u can get first response test from. Cant find them anywhere. Its like they have just vanished lol. X

OP posts:
MrBigsCat · 14/11/2023 21:47

I see lines on the wondfos
maybe you are still very early?

Skye49 · 14/11/2023 20:45

Dont worry if u cant see the line. Photo quality is so bad x

I have no idea what dpo i am as i have pcos and havent been tracking. Ill be honest, now this mornings test has dried it looks a little darker than yesterday's but again im not sure if im just seeing things or if there just indents or evaps. Ill attach some photos, maybe then ill know if im imaging them. All photos of the test are with in time frame. X

OP posts:
etaketak1991 · 14/11/2023 20:23

@Skye49 How many dpo are you? If you're still getting lines on various tests then it would be rotten luck if they're all evaps!

Skye49 · 14/11/2023 17:11

Unfortunately i think it must have been an indent or evap as ive done 3 test since and none seem to be darker nor progressing. Ive done wondfo and a stick brand i got off amazon. All have vvvvfl but none progressing Unfortunately. Feels like theres no brand of test out there that dont give off indents or evaps. Either that or im seeing things. Feel like im going crazy lol. I would post pics but i dont want to seem crazy, coz i doubt anyone would be able to see the lines x

OP posts:
Skye49 · 13/11/2023 13:28

Thanks. Ive had evaps and indents on cheapies but not really used boots own before. Cant get my hands on first response anymore so went for these. Not got a good feeling thought. Caved and tested this morning but the lines alot fainter. The only thing i can think it i was up throught the night peeing and drinking so my morning sample was very very diluted. X

On the post they all look negative but if you open each individually you can see a line for sure on all of them

I should have said, I don't have the best line eyes - so don't feel discouraged if I don't see it and everyone else does

MrBigsCat · 13/11/2023 10:46

Outliers · 12/11/2023 18:21

I can't see anything at all. Sorry

But probably worth trying again first thing in the morning to see if you pick up a stronger result.
