@LuceNumberTwo its all so confusing. The strip tests went back down after the first positives then back up yesterday and today and two 🙂 a week apart- i hope I have done enough… we will soon see!!

Joining this thread for the first time! Hi all ☺️

Been TTC for over a year now with no luck. My last 4 cycles all stopped being quite so irregular (ranged between 31 and 37 days) so I felt very down this cycle going for blood tests and my progesterone still being super low cycle day 30. Luckily, a high reading cycle day 37 confirms ovulation, and all my apps generally agree on cycle day 30 for ovulation day. Now cycle day 42, no positive test, overdue period etc. trying to remain positive but also just frustrated at how long it takes 😭 (didn’t LH test this month trying to keep as stress free as possible to get accurate blood tests)

Hoping for some positive encouragement. If anyone knows much about BBT mine has been above baseline since the predicted ovulation, a slight dip yesterday (still above baseline) made me expect my period today but it’s gone back up today which has confused me more 😭

Morning all,

I am CD27 todays and 8 dpo. Period is due today which gives me a very short luteal phase. Tested this morning and BFN. No sign of AF yet.
Only my 2nd cycle since having the coil removed so still very much regulating.

Only symptom of anything is mild cramps and sore boobs but nothing unusual.

Also, I’m only on CD 9 and the ovulation stick has already started saying that LH is high when usually it’s not this early. I did have a chemical at the beginning of last week so could this make you more fertile earlier?

Just got annoyed with myself for testing early (?9/10 DPO) and wasting a First Response.
But there MIGHT be a squinter of a VVVFL there....
It's too faint to see on a photo and I had to shine a torch on it, so don't know if it could just be an indent.
Not sure whether to show my husband he'll see how mental I am or just try again later....

@H938 Hey! Hope you are doing well! I don't think you are ovulating again, as I got a false positive on the digital aswell, so I would say you did ovulate when you think (got your peak). Also your LH levels can remain increased for upto 5-7 days after you ovulate- thats why the advice is to dtd afterwards also. Hope that makes some season, it's most likely the reason the inks still dark on the the strips!
I've had a lovely week away with family, heading home today to jump my man's bones🤣 I think I'll be out this month with being away, but I've been tracking to keep an eye, as my app said I'm not hitting my peak until tomorrow... But my strip test was pretty dark yesterday! But we shall just have to wait & see

@ThoughtfulSometimes Its so easy to let it get you down and its easier said than done but you cannot underestimate the stress factor when ttc - I hope this month is more positive for you! Do you test for ovulation xx

Onto cycle 3- I think. Well, BFN and CD33. My cycles have been all over the place, 45, 44, 34 for the last three months.

I wanted to feel so excited for Christmas and festive this year but because I dared to let myself imagine having a BFP before then, I now just feel heartbroken. I know that’s silly because it’s not even been that long but im not even 25 yet and everyone around me is getting pregnant immediately. :(

Actually after googling 😂 not sure you can ovulate twice but can release more eggs with an LH surge? I think?! It’s all a bit complicated 😂 maybe that’s what’s happening to you?

Ovulate twice in 1 month. Go for it with DTD if you can just in case!

@H938 that is very confusing. I have never used CB ovulation tests so I don't know. I think I dtd tonight just to be sure!

Ok re tested and … so thats the second one this month does it mean I didnt ovulate 5 days ago

@123456789ss thank you! Will try again, im so confused with it all - i thought I already ovulated. I mean we dtd quite a bit and yesterday too so I will make sure I keep going just incase lol x

I think if you don't use the digital for 3+ days it will always show a O when you use it for the 1st time again. You could try again and it will likely be smiley or static

@H938 That’s very confusing the difference between the dye and the digital test. Not sure which is more accurate.

Hi all, jumping on at cd17 / 1dpo,
I got my peak OPK on the evening of cd15 (and plenty of fertile cm) so we bd cd15+16, so really hoping we’ve timed it perfectly this month!🤞🏼
my luteal phase is usually 10days, so hoping to test at 11dpo at earliest.

I had a previous mmc back in sept (11wks) - a blighted ovum - which we were absolutely devastated, then 7 weeks until I got my first period back (didn’t ovulate during that time).
so currently on 2nd cycle ttc again.

what a rollercoaster of a ride all of this is, but it’s nice to have this forum to connect with others in the same boat!
fingers crossed for lots of bfp in December ❤️
