I’m good, just back and forth to St Thomas’s EPU the last 3 days, first HCG was 1900 and progesterone 79, now waiting for EPU to call with the HCG results from today to decide next steps. Feeling fine emotionally now, just want to deal with it in the most optimal way so my body can recover x

They confirmed the pregnancy is in the right place but no heartbeat yet, ive got to go back in 2 weeks for another scan x

I did get hold of them, they called me back yesterday and booked me in for a scan this morning @MrsL2019. Unfortunately it is ectopic in the fallopian tube. It’s been spotted very early (5+2) so they are starting to monitor the HCG now to see if it can be passed naturally.

Hoping for better news for you tomorrow :)

I’ve called the EPU near me today, I was so uncomfortable last night I had to sleep sitting up in a chair, and have one sided niggles. A bit concerned about ectopic so hopefully they agree to an early scan. Hoping for a happier explanation though.

@snowitall glad the spotting has started to ease for you! How far will you be for your first scan?

You are absolutely right about constant worry, i worried all through my first pregnancy and now shes 2 and a half i still constantly worry! I dont think i will ever stop, but i feel so full knowing i have someone i care about so much that i worry constantly if that makes sense.

I havnt joined any of the groups for when im due, based on my LMP i should be due very end of August but with my girl my due date got pushed back by 3 weeks from scans. Unfortunately my bloods on Friday didnt show the best news, my HCG hasnt doubled it has only gone up by 60%. I have a scan on Tuesday to see if we can find out what is going on

@MrsL2019 hello! Today is 5+0 for me, the brown spotting hasn’t turned into anything so far and hasn’t got any heavier, now just kind of brown tinged light CM. So fingers crossed it doesn’t get any worse. I did a preg test yesterday and got an absolute dye stealer so that was a bit reassuring, but I know that doesn’t guarantee anything!

Still so crampy though! I would say a sharper pain than the normal achy feeling I get before period, after a few days of being one sided it feels mostly central so far today so hopefully it’s just things moving around 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

I’ve now of course started to worry about ectopic pregnancy - my DH thinks I’ve lost the plot 😂

Had a cry yesterday saying how from now on I’ll just be worried about the baby for the rest of my life. If we’re lucky to get good news in a first scan then my next worry will be genetic testing, then birth, then wondering if baby developing fast enough once it’s earth side, then worried about teenager out on drunken nights - the realisation that the worry will never end!! 😂😂

How are you going @MrsL2019? are you also Mrs2019x on the due September thread? I’m too scared to join the Facebook group incase I jinx it haha, want to wait until first scan.

@MrsL2019 that’s reassuring! I have been crying all morning expecting the worst. I’m 4+5. Have had the in laws with us all Christmas period and I was truly the classic mumsnet kitchen slave so I have been completely horizontal today since they’ve left and put DH on tea and biscuits delivery duty.

How far along are you?

@snowitall my doctor sent me to my local hospital to the womens ward, im going back tomorrow for them to check. They are more worried because i know i have ovarian cysts and endometriosis.

My first pregnancy i had pains like you described and red and brown bleeding, shes now 2 and a half years old. It can be normal to feel pains and have some bleeding, i would keep an eye on it to make sure the pain doesnt get more intense and the bleeding stays to only spotting with no clots. How far are you?

@MrsL2019 I’m also spotting brown and just don’t really feel right with cramping, it feels more like period cramps than a few days ago which felt more sharp/pulling and different to what I’d felt before. Where are you getting your HCG tests done at this time of year?

I had bloods done yesterday at 5+1 and my HCG was 1976, ive got to have them repeated again tomorrow to make sure its doubled. Ive been getting some horrific pains and bleeding so im praying everything is ok🤞

I’m out, not really a surprise this month. I’ve been not drinking all of Christmas just in case and then AF arrived today! Oh well, good start to a new year detox.. Hope you’re all feeling good and that lines are progressing!

Oh wow just checked back in today, have been in a work haze this week. So many congratulations to the multitudes of pregnant women!!! It’s obviously a lucky thread! Now you just have to think of excuses not to drink at Christmas!

I’m 9dpo so going to wait a couple more days to test. I don’t feel that hopeful about this month for myself with being ill and then having a lot of work stress, bad diet and sleep deprivation!

Congrats @MrsL2019 sooo nice to see the OP with a BFP!! This was me from this morning. I am quietly hopeful but feel like it’s only just my AF due date so not even telling DH yet as want to get a dye stealer/digital positive before I’ll believe it.

This is this morning's as I say it's vfl but also had on boots and on same brand yesterday. I've been through several boxes of these and never had anything like this so 🤞 I also did a CB digital which was negative ofc but it's still too early for that I feel

@MrsL2019 sorry to hear you're in pain how many dpo are you now? Hope it eases soon xx
