Anyone want to give each other support? TTC November 2023 TWW

Hi, alI!

I thought it would be really nice to start a new thread. This thread is dedicated to those TTC in November 2023. We can give each other advice, talk through our emotions (because sometimes, hearing from another woman is so helpful!), and at the end of the cycle - update on pregnancy test results.

I'll introduce myself real quick. Feel free to do the same.

My name is Kelsey. I'm 26. I'm from Ireland. I've been engaged to my fiancé, Sean, since September. We started dating in December 2022 (when ya know, ya know!!). We have been trying to conceive since I came off the pill in May. I was only on it since December 2022. Unfortunately, we received a false positive Clearblue digital in June :(. So this TTC journey has been very stressful. I have PCOS and irregular cycles but something seems to be switching up in me.

My last period started October 19th.
I feel I ovulated on Halloween night. We DTD the day before and the day of. It's the first time I've caught ovulation so perfectly.

If going by 28 day cycle since I ovulated on time, my period is expected November 16th. I am so nervous as I want a baby so badly. Something in me is telling me this cycle is different but that little voice in my mind is telling me I'm not pregnant and I'm wrong. I guess we'll see.

Symptoms so far:
Ovary pain (but I have that almost every day anyway)
Backache
And then....nothing.
Which is unusual for me as my PMS symptoms usually begin 2 weeks before my period (whether I end up bleeding or not lol). I often feel nauseas and experience cramping. Nothing so far.
Also, currently 3dpo.

Let's keep each other entertained during that TTW.

Good luck, everyone!!!

@ButterflySkies feeling cautiously optimistic. I've taken a couple more tests that have come up positive a bit more quickly, so now the reality is starting to set in. Planning to test with a ClearBlue Fri morning when my period is due.

Had a moment of anxiety for various reasons, but ultimately I'm thankful - just hope things continue to progress well over the coming weeks/ months.

Currently don't really have any symptoms, besides just feeling tired. Minor pelvic cramps yday and boobs feel tender (these happen on my period so hard to call them preg symps).

Hope everyone else still waiting gets some BFPs x

Great news on the positives @Outliers and @Pupsandturtles! Everything crossed for you!

I think af arrived today 🙄 I say I think because it's very light for me - a tiny bit on a pad but more when I wipe... too late to be implantation unless I ovulated wayyy later than I thought? Guess I'll have to see over the next few days but at least I'll know my likely dates for next ovulation if it is!

Hoping everyone else gets their BFP's 💕💕

ButterflySkies · 15/11/2023 21:37

@H938 and @rainyskylight im sorry this wasn't the month, hope you're both doing ok and lots of babydust for a couple of weeks time x

@Outliers @Pupsandturtles so excited for you both, they are definitely lines, absolutely everything crossed that the line progression comes. How are you feeling now @Outliers?

and for fingers crossed for you too @LuceNumberTwo , you’re still testing so early!

@Saffycat92 @LuceNumberTwo i think we are due AF around the same time. When are we testing? I did manage to show some self restraint today, I figured there was no point testing as my DD decided to try and get up for the day at 2am (wtf, weve been sleeping through for ages!) and i obvs had to wee before i went back to bed myself haha had to remind myself my tiredness today didnt count for symptom spotting! xx

H938 · 15/11/2023 15:44

@LuceNumberTwo I will start those then next week! Hopefully it works. Keep me posted if you test again xx

LuceNumberTwo · 15/11/2023 15:26

@Pupsandturtles Aww well 🤞🤞 too early for the digital! Maybe give it a couple of days? Bloody that's all your ever told.. wait wait.. Its a nightmare! Keeping everything crossed sweet 💖 xx

Pupsandturtles · 15/11/2023 15:24

@LuceNumberTwo i managed to find an early detection CB in a shop, it was positive. But the regular CBs (the ones that show the number of weeks) are all negative….

eek!

so, maybe too early, maybe chemical…

LuceNumberTwo · 15/11/2023 14:44

@emmatcc1 You've got this! 💖 come on here every day & tell us about your days etc 🤣

Sorry @H938 I replied to you about premom & easy at home - I meant the ovulation sticks are good too, as well as the pregnancy tests.
I've always used the easy at home ovu tests, alongside clearblue digital.. Because one isn't the brightest light on the Christmas tree & a total paranoid wreck that I have to see it in black & white 🤣🙈

LuceNumberTwo · 15/11/2023 14:40

@Outliers utliers oh my god! That's so exciting 🤞 for a sticky one!! 💖💖

@H938 I wouldn't look passed easy at home, they've worked well for me with each pregnancy... I'm actually finding wondflo to be terrible for indents, they dry really odd!!!

@Pupsandturtles looks positive to me also! 🤞🤞 ohhh this is super exciting! Are you in the UK? Amazon only sell FRER in a triple check - an early, a rapid response & digital, its about £20... Also for some unknown reason Ilthe shops have stopped selling them. Don't know if there was an issue etc!

Keep these lines coming ladies! I love to see it 💖💖

H938 · 15/11/2023 11:17

@Pupsandturtles I think if youre pregnant it shows up on any test - that line doesnt look really faint its quite noticable- maybe try a clearblue? Im not sure you can get FR anywhere x

Pupsandturtles · 15/11/2023 11:04

@H938 i checked after 5 mins, the instructions said 3-5 - I actually avoided looking at it before!! But I’m new to the easy@home tests so not really sure what I’m doing… somebody at home said the FRER tests are better I think, is that right?

H938 · 15/11/2023 10:56

@Pupsandturtles looks positive to me!! 😊Isnt an evap when it comes up after the 3 mins? Did it come straight away x

Pupsandturtles · 15/11/2023 10:32

Thoughts on this, ladies? I’m 14-15 Dpo so I would expect the line to be darker…. Could it be evap?

H938 · 15/11/2023 10:27

@rainyskylight yeah thats true, also got ahead on this month if you are trying again 💫

rainyskylight · 15/11/2023 10:18

@H938 - I'm trying to look on the bright side, as at least it means I've skipped 5 days forward and got the disappointment over with early...!

rainyskylight · 15/11/2023 10:16

congratulations @Outliers !!

emmatcc1 · 15/11/2023 10:15

finally 1dpo today. I’m already dreading this tww.

Pupsandturtles · 15/11/2023 09:45

I definitely see a line, congratulations @Outliers !

@ButterflySkies my boobs were their absolute worst the month I conceived my daughter- so you never know!

CD30 for me and still no sign of AF. Very odd. am usually a 27d cycle person and get cramps for a few days before. But I’m 14dpo and BFN so pretty sure I’m out.

Has anyone else noticed through the TTC process how unpredictable/ variable their bodies & cycles are?

I’m using easy@home but been told they are prone to evap lines and other tests are better- what does everyone think?

Outliers · 15/11/2023 09:44

Thank you ladies. I bought the early detection and yup there's definitely a line! Again much clearer in person, but I've attached a picture. I'm in shock as got no symptoms atm.

Mixed emotions but very thankful, hopefully it sticks 🙏

H938 · 15/11/2023 09:32

@LuceNumberTwo I really hope its good news for you!! I know how it feels to really want it after a loss/a few! But it will happen and we are young still!

I’ve ordered easy at home and downloaded premom not that I even know how to use it or the tests haha im hoping the app is going to tell me when to start testing. Atleast now i know that nothing I had was symptoms so next time im not going to drive myself crazy!

@Saffycat92 I wasnt actively trying this
month i may have been in with a chance but im okay that it didnt happen, I only just decided that I want to go for baby no3 so im sure it will happen soon enough 🤞🏼 I downloaded the app and ordered the tests so lets see if they help- ive never done them before!! Hopefully you get your positive this month- if not we can try next month 🤞🏼😂👶🏼

Queenie901 · 15/11/2023 09:12

BFN for me this morning but still no af 🤷🏼‍♀️

Congrats @Outliers! Great news 💕

LuceNumberTwo · 15/11/2023 08:57

I don't know what's going on with me, but I've just made myself toast & started eating, but I feel so sick & gaggy🤣 🙈

So I've got my partner to hide the tests! Because I will drive myself mental.. 🙈

@H938 hoping so but we can always try again, would be great to keep up with eachothers progress either way 💖 what ovulation sticks are you buying?

@Saffycat92 Are you waiting to test? I'm just so bloody impatient 🤣🙈 I don't know what's going on! Glad you are feeling a bit better about things also 🥰

@Outliers eeeeeek! I can so see that line! 🤞🤞 let us know what your other tests look like! So hoping this is it for you 🥰

X

H938 · 15/11/2023 08:38

@Outliers oh how lovely!! Congratulations xxx

Saffycat92 · 15/11/2023 07:55

Sorry for some reason the newer messages hadn’t loaded! @H938 sorry to hear that but baby dust for next month - I’m also planning to use ovulation strips next month so hopefully that works for us! @LuceNumberTwo 9/10 days definitely still super early so try not to lose heart yet 💕 @Outliers i can definitely see that line!! Hope it progresses well for you in the coming days!

Saffycat92 · 15/11/2023 07:50

This is such a lovely and welcoming thread 😊 it’s making me feel a lot better about this TWW.

@H938 and @LuceNumberTwo yes think I’m going to hold out until either Friday or Saturday. My cycle varies between 27-29 days typically although my average is 29 (which would be Sunday). If this isn’t my month, I’m going to try next month not to test as early as 9/10dpo as I think it just doesn’t do me any good! Thanks so much for the nice messages though, I’m feeling more positive now. I’ve been having some cramps yesterday/today but I think it might just be AF on her way, but other than that no symptoms of either AF or anything else!

Fingers crossed for everyone testing this morning x

Outliers · 15/11/2023 07:50

My DH also made me realise I may actually be 11DPO rather than 12DPO.
