Hello all,

A new cycle unfortunately started for me today. I really thought last cycle was going to be the one but unfortunately not the case and AF has shown her ugly face!

I had an early miscarriage in early September and this was the first cycle back TTC #1

Just wondering if anyone wants to join on the journey this month - always nice to be able to speak to people in the same situation!

Baby dust to all x

@rosecbrm I know I can't believe I've managed to resist checking- been very tempted but I know there's not much point as I'm probably not pregnant this month as we haven't been able to 'try'!

rosecbrm · 11/12/2023 13:00

@Biscuitsarelife1 amazing, well done for resisting! Probably made you feel so much better not having the pressure!

All good over here, I'm in a similar position in that I haven't been tracking but I think I'm around CD13 so am in my fertile period, but not sure when I will be ovulating, assuming over the next few days!

Keep us updated
X

@rosecbrm doing okay thank you! How are you??

Nothing new from me, still haven't checked the Flo app- haven't got a clue what CD I am on, and no idea when I ovulated- I never got the usual ovulation pain again (same as last month). Don't know if one ovary just doesn't cause as much pain as the other, but I have no idea when it happened! Have had some of the usual pelvic cramping the last few days (is this actually normal at this part of the cycle?!). Also still no idea when I'm due on! Assuming next week some point!

@rosecbrm I am not actually sure when I'm due on as I'm not going to check! Maybe around 20th? Just going to wait for AF to arrive! When are you due- must be around Xmas/Boxing Day?

rosecbrm · 05/12/2023 10:40

@Biscuitsarelife1 that sounds good! Please keep me updated, when are you due on do you know?

All good over here thank you, CD7 so nothing exciting happening currently xx

@rosecbrm I'm good thank you lovely! Feeling so much more relaxed this month. We DTD a lot whilst we were away and when I'm guessing my fertile window was so I guess there might be a small chance for us this month but not obviously getting my hopes up as we weren't trying at all!

How are you xx

rosecbrm · 05/12/2023 10:35

@MaryHua so exciting!

@Biscuitsarelife1 how are you doing? X

Biscuitsarelife1 · 05/12/2023 10:24

@MaryHua ah that's fair enough! Hopefully you get lucky and can see it!

MaryHua · 05/12/2023 10:10

Hi @Biscuitsarelife1
I definitely would prefer to wait until 7 or 8 weeks, but it falls on Christmas week and there is nothing available. So I have no choice but to go to the only one I can on 21st December.
Fingers crossed it's ok. I can cancel it up to 48 hours before...

Biscuitsarelife1 · 05/12/2023 10:07

This is amazing @MaryHua congratulations again! FWIW, my sickness started dead on 6 weeks and lasted until 16!! I had an early scan at 7 weeks as they sometimes say 6 weeks is too early to detect heartbeat and can be disheartening so something to also think about!

MaryHua · 05/12/2023 10:06

@rosecbrm I'm feeling ok. No symptoms really.
Rang the GP/midwives and have booked in for first consultation in January and 12 week scan then too.
I'm still confused about how they will measure my weeks because I ovulated so late. They are saying I'm 5 weeks at the moment but I'm only 4.

Have booked an early viability scan privately for 6 weeks so fingers crossed they can detect a heartbeat then, even if it's a bit early.
As an apprehensive person, I'm just trying to keep as calm as possible.

Let me know how you find the OPKs when you're ready to actively try again x

rosecbrm · 05/12/2023 08:50

@MaryHua thank you! I might try them!

How are you feeling this morning? X

MaryHua · 04/12/2023 21:46

@rosecbrm the pink ones with static smileys only. I definitely will. Just need get my head wrapped around the next stages and what to look out for.

rosecbrm · 04/12/2023 21:33

@MaryHua I was just about to ask did you use the pink or purple cleablue opks? Might give them a go as never have before!

Please still check in though, it would be lovely to hear how it's all going for you 🤍

MaryHua · 04/12/2023 21:15

@rosecbrm thank you.
Hope you get the positive tests sometime very soon.
Just to say, we DTD a couple of times in and around ovulation. Using the clearblue smiley face OPKs.

rosecbrm · 04/12/2023 20:58

@MaryHua got everything crossed for you! Huge congratulations 🤍
