thanks pinkgirl - fingers crossed for you too.

I've just gone over my dates again and I'm a couple of days out, I'm actually CD40 today so not quite as far along as I thought - but even so, far enough to start to think that if I am pregnant I surely should have had a +ve??

Glad I'm not on my own though. x

I dont think weeing is linked to AF but is to PG!

pinkgirl30 · 11/03/2008 13:16

hi t that is useful information
is weeing more often just a sign of being pregnant? or could it b a sign of af coming 2?

just crashing to say good luck to all and a note about hpt's...clear blue in particular!

Clear blue are deemed to be the clearest to interpret and are pretty accurate - but not when testing early!!! They are nowhere near as sensitive as First Response Early Response and some of the ebay cheapies!!

Clearblue tends to need 50mIU/mL before detecting a +ve whereas FRER is only 25mIU/mL (but can be as low as 12.5) and the cheapy ebay ones are usually around 10-15mIU/mL.

Don't waste your money on Clearblue until you are a certain as can be that you are 2 weeks past ovulation.

pinkgirl30 · 11/03/2008 11:38

D, I haven't been on the pill since 2005...got pregnant in march 06 and had no AF till Nov 07 when DS turned 1. Since then been regular as clockwork...

Disenchanted · 11/03/2008 11:35

Y'know, I know this isnt what you want to hear,

but when I came off the pill last time I had a normal 30 day cycle then my next one was 92 days long!

I wasn't pregnant, it can just happen after the pill.

But when my AF finally did come I got Pregnant 2 weeks later!

pinkgirl30 · 11/03/2008 11:32

we could be cycle buddies then? it is frustrateing waiting isnt it i have used clear blue tesco tests and ebay strips 2!!
heres hoping for two bfps for us

hi pinkgirl - i think i've posted on another thread that you've been on - i'm on cd40 today and still bfn's. Since having DS1 I've had three regular periods all at 28 day cycles as was normal before DS. Now, nothing...

So far I've used two x clear blue digital tests, two x tesco and two x acon early test (from access diagnostics.

The last two were more sensitive tests than the cbd and tesco but still BFN.

Ho hum...she keeps waiting...good luck to you!

pinkgirl30 · 11/03/2008 07:56

Hi pinkgirl when I came of the pill to try for ds3, I think it took around 40 days to get my first proper period, I was convinced I must have been pregnant! On the plus side, I conceived the next month!! DS3 is now 8 months. Will keep my fingers crossed that you get some sort of answer soon.

pinkgirl30 · 10/03/2008 14:38

thanks

I can't really advise as I have never really been in the situation myself but I do know that sometimes it takes a long time for periods to come back properly after coming off the pill. Certainly 43 days would not be unusual and I have read threads on here where it took several months. Visit the gp if you are unsure but she/he might just reiterate that it might take a while for your samples to get back to normal.

pinkgirl30 · 10/03/2008 13:30

i am going to go for tesco tests
