@worldwidetravel2017 Sorry about the unpleasant scan. Hopefully you won't have to wait too long for the results and hopefully they will all be clear of any issues.
Counselling sounds like it will be very helpful.

@Pineappleapple 8dpo would be very early for a BFP. Typically they say at the earliest to test at 10dpo. As on average implantation happens around 8dpo and then it takes 2 days for the hcg to build up enough even for sensitive tests.

@Khanga27 hopefully feeling sick is a good sign. When I had morning sickness nibbling on biscuits definitely helped.

@Gingerblueeyes normally they say to test with first morning pee as you have held the pee the longest in your bladder.

Having quite a bit if cm today. Which is fairly unusual for me. Not sure if it's EWCM as I have been out and about for work. But I have a feeling it might be. Last cycle I only got ewcm on the day of my ovulation. I think I might O early this cycle. Only CD9.
I have the gym tonight but going to see about maybe getting some BD in just in case. If my husband is up yo it. My opks are still light though

Good to have his sperm there waiting 4 the egg b4 lines get darker :)

Cressie2 · 25/10/2023 16:44

Fingers crossed for you @Gingerblueeyes
In the words of Nike… x

I started catching up then we are 2 more pages in so will catch up later. 8dpo today, not an early tester normally but had a feeling. Negative though, not even a hint of a line. Not much chance this month, didn't manage to DTD much at the right time. Just nice to post somewhere i can be understood as friends not aware we are trying

Khanga27 · 25/10/2023 15:09

@VixFromThe6ix thanks. Weirdly food has helped with sickness, just hope I'm.okay by Weekend. So I need to test by 1st november (would be 14 dpo or thereabouts), as I go away somewhere with a hot tub and sauna next weekend and don't want to risk using if possibility I'm positive. But otherwise I'd probably wait for AF tbh

H0pefull · 25/10/2023 15:04

@Gingerblueeyes fingers crossed for you!! Let us know how you get on x

Gingerblueeyes · 25/10/2023 15:00

@H0pefull I've tested the last few days even though I'm only 11 dpo today! I should have just pee'd on money!!!

Might give the last oner I have a go this evening though LOL

H0pefull · 25/10/2023 14:52

@Gingerblueeyes I have heard that a lot about getting a clearer line in the evening. I know early testing isn't advised but I say go for it lol, it's worth a try especially if you have more tests arriving tomorrow anyway

Gingerblueeyes · 25/10/2023 14:23

H0pefull · 25/10/2023 14:05

@Gingerblueeyes sounds like we are similar :) What sensitive tests did you order? Asking for a friend obviously, definitely not myself lol

I bought some from Tesco last night that are 25miu, so ordered some easy@home on Amazon today that should be arriving tomorrow and they're 10 miu.

although i do still have on left... do I try it tonight or wait till tomorrow morning?! I've seen some ladies on here saying they get a clearer line in the evening!

worldwidetravel2017 · 25/10/2023 14:11

We used numark very early ones - they were reliable

H0pefull · 25/10/2023 14:05

Gingerblueeyes · 25/10/2023 14:02

@H0pefull Saturday! I'm normally like clockwork too!
I ordered some sensitive 10 miu tests to arrive tomorrow, i just couldn't help myself!!

H0pefull · 25/10/2023 13:29

@Gingerblueeyes very true. When is AF due for you x

Gingerblueeyes · 25/10/2023 13:22

H0pefull · 25/10/2023 12:48

@SnookyPook that's really re assuring to know thank you. Hope you are feeling ok today xx

Just done a tesco own brand test and there is only a line if you hold a flash behind the test and that definitely doesn't count lol. Taking the pressure off now and not going to test until the weekend, providing AF doesn't arrive tomorrow as planned.

I did Tesco own this morning as 11 DPO and BFN, I've been feeling nauseous for 3 days and had a pinching sensation on my right hand side yesterday. I don't think we're out till the red witch appears!!!

Catson · 25/10/2023 13:20

@H0pefull Tesco tests are 25hcg so I wouldn't expect a line at 11dpo

Sorry just read your update. Maybe it's good to let it simmer for a couple days. But if there is another line that's a good sign hopefully!!!

@CurlyWurly1991 yay to ovulating!!!! Hope your TWW doesn't drag and you have wonderful news by the end 🤞🏻

@H0pefull oh how frustrating!! So sorry to hear. Indents usually shouldn't have colour and they come on after the 5min mark. I hope maybe your wee was diluted today and you see something on the next test. Will you test again today??

@Khanga27 hope the big doesn't linger around too long!! When do you plan to test??

@worldwidetravel2017 it's definitely more common when you're older and when you do IUI which we have both it still a bit bittersweet. Now we just need to keep positive everything goes well with this one.
Counseling sounds like a great idea as it does sound you're going through a lot. Would be great to get some advice on how to deal with it all.

@worldwidetravel2017 hope you are feeling ok following your scan and you get some good results. I agree, they're not very nice are they.

I hope counselling brings you some help, I've definitely found it useful in the past so fingers crossed you feel like you make some progress with it.

That's good to know about not getting a BFP until 15DPO. Never out until AF arrives so we will see what the next few days bring x

SnookyPook · 25/10/2023 12:42

Thanks for all the well-wishes. Will certainly keep you posted.

@H0pefull I've never had a positive before 14dpo.... 🤞🏻

SnookyPook · 25/10/2023 12:41

@worldwidetravel2017 counselling sounds like a great idea - hope you find it helpful. Hope they don't keep you waiting too long for today's scan results too. Good luck with the November BD-ing!

H0pefull · 25/10/2023 09:23

@SnookyPook I’m 11 DPO today so feel quite sure something would be showing by now. I have one FRER but I don’t want to waste it until if / when AF doesn’t arrive tomorrow x

When i was pregnant - it didnt show until about 15 dpo

worldwidetravel2017 · 25/10/2023 12:34

Lots to catch up on
Was @ hospital 4 ct scan 4 other reasons

Not guna lie - didnt like it - shut my eyes etc

Results in a bit
Heres hoping they dont find anything too bad
My body is a rule to itself though..

Congrats to all those who have become pregnant

Sending all the luck to @SnookyPook

And sorry to hear re the twin loss @VixFromThe6ix - twins are so common in older pregnancies / mums over 35 & unfortunately losing one has happened to a few that i know too. Mixed emotions etc. Tough times. Sending you luck for the next stages etc

I believe we missed ovulation window this month - couldnt be preg 4 ct scan - cheap sticks ovulation said likely ovulated day 15 16

Its weird cuz the month we concieved in - august - that turned into early miscarriage - ovulation was day 21- thats quite a difference..

Im unfortunately supposed to be having another colonoscopy this year due to the number of bowel polyps they found and removed earlier this year...
Obv cant be preg 4 that but in july dr told me not to delay trying..

Had a normal qfit test since polyp removal
So hoping we can baby dance our way thorough November....

Starting counselling next week as been through a lot the past 6 months ..

H0pefull · 25/10/2023 12:09

@Catson wondfo again, from the same box as yesterday

Catson · 25/10/2023 12:04
