Thank you @CurlyWurly1991 youre so right, the holiday was wonderful and I have so much to be grateful for, I must try to remember that. I think there was a part of me that really thought this would be it.

Nothing yet as speaking to doctor on Tuesday and then fertility specialist at end of the month.

My biggest worry is adenomyosis as it would seem that can cause infertility and the only real treatment is hysterectomy. I’m trying not to spiral too much and looking out for positive stories but it’s hard 😞

Oh @MrsBP15 I can definitely relate to that feeling… it is so cruel and relentless at times. It sounds as though you had an amazing holiday though… and the lower pressure around dtd must have been a nice change. Perhaps you were hoping that it would be your lucky cycle … so many stories of babies conceived on holiday. It’s good news that there were no major issues seen on the scan. Have they offered any recommendations or treatments, medicated cycles etc? I hope you have something just for you to look forward to this weekend.

Hi everyone, not sure if some of you remember me from previous threads? 37, ttc #1, have been pregnant in v early 20s but don’t have any children and have suspected adenomyosis/endometriosis.

Stepped away from MN as we went on holiday to Caribbean. I didn’t do OPKs, I didn’t track, didn’t look at MN…nothing. DTD every day for 10 days, according to app this was my fertile window and I had egg white cm so reckon I ovulated. The holiday was so relaxing and it was so nice to DTD without the pressure/being exhausted. If only it could always be like that!

Since I’ve been back I’ve had an appointment with a private hospital which included an ultrasound. Before ultrasound took a test just in case and it was bfn. Scan showed fibroid (which I knew about) which has grown to 6cm and in an ok position I.e outside uterus and a cyst but they are pretty sure this is Luteal cyst as period due tomorrow. They will do another scan to check. Couldn’t see Adenomyosis but they said that’s because fibroid is in the way. Have a call with doctor on Tuesday to talk it through and then appointment with fertility specialist at the end of the month.

I have been feeling utterly wretched and alone this week. Started crying on Thursday night and basically couldn’t stop. I just never thought I’d be here, I know many of you are familiar with that feeling….love and baby dust to you all ♥️

@FigandHoney Yes I think it must have! I thought I had no chance this cycle as my body geared up to ovulate twice according to opks and we tried both times, then after the second one I gave up. Randomly we dtd about 3 weeks after our last attempt just because we had a babysitter haha (not ttc as I’d given up) (sorry it tmi!) and must have ovulated just after! Again I didn’t think I had that as it was days before my bbt went up, so had completely given up on this cycle!! Only did a test really because I missed weeing in sticks haha 😂

Thanks @Cressie2 and @Bumblebee413! 💗 I couldn’t get a pink dye test so did a clearblue this morning (after an 2 hour urine hold, as I had to go and buy it this morning so didn’t have one for fmu) and got a faint but more visible test. It’s still so very faint though so convinced it’s going to be get another chemical!! Don’t want to tell my husband yet as I’m so convinced.

If anyone has any ideas on when I might have ovulated I’d love to hear them haha. I’ve attached my chart, but I also had 3 almost positive opks on 31st October, 1st November and 3rd November 🤷‍♀️

@Bumblebee413 wow sounds like you are really living in a do-er upper. We did it with our previous house. And partially doing it again with our new and forever home.

I am still hoping that AF stays away. She is due tomorrow or Monday. The last cycles ttc I started spotting 3 or 4 days before. And this hasn't happened yet. So I really hope it stays that way. Feeling a bit terrified.

We were very lucky- we haven’t got round to the kitchen, so no real damage done and today is bring DH home day, so we’re feeling pretty blessed today.

@Bumblebee413 I hope the leak is all sorted now that the plumber has been. So stressful! @worldwidetravel2017 good on you for having a treat night. Sometimes it’s exactly what you need. Very frustrating not to have your results back but I’m sure they will update you over the next few days once they’ve decided which consultant will deal with everything. Thinking of you.

@Mrsspoon3 your body must have attempted to ovulate, failed and then reattempted it and succeeded. Did you use opks?
I can definitely see a vvvvfl there. But it is visible. Hope it gets darker for you and is your sticky bean.

@worldwidetravel2017 oh I am so sorry. You hare having a really bad run of luck. Hopefully they get themselves together ans decide on someone to take your case on soon.

@worldwidetravel2017 Ive just had the standard blood tests from GP but I had my little boy in between them too. My GP told me they’re really common and usually due to a chromosome issue when they’re that early (which is unfortunately more common in older mums) so not sure there’s anything that can be done unfortunately 😔

It’s just a cheap test from the Co-op. I will try a better one tomorrow! I’ve had many, many chemicals so can’t see it developing into anything unfortunately! But a line at this stage is still 100% better than none, so grateful I’m
not seeing things x

Or maybe supplements or stress or anxiety effected your cycle
Or maybe its multiples

@Bumblebee413 you are a trooper handling all that with the leak. Glad the plumber has been round, hope no damage done with the interiors etc.
spatone - yes I find this really good too. I’m taking 2 iron bisglycinate with 1000mg on waking (5.30/6am, we’ll before eating or drinking tea), then 2 spatone in a glass of fizzy vitamin C at some point mid morning or mid afternoon. I’m about a month into this and hope it’s making a difference but I probably should get a repeat iron test at some point to check the levels are going up. Will see if my GP agrees to retest.

@worldwidetravel2017 i don’t blame you for feeling fed up with your long wait. How frustrating. I am around a similar stage in my cycle so we too can be cycle buddies !

@Mrsspoon3 that is definitely a line! What’s the test? Can you retest with another one, maybe boots early or a frer if you can get your hands on one?

I’m totally, totally baffled by my cycle this month! I’m currently on day 63 but seem to have ovulated now but no idea at all when! I’m somewhere between 8 and 13dpo and did a test this afternoon and was sure I saw a very, very, very faint line but so faint I feel like no one will be able to see it in the photo? I’m seeing things right??

I would like to apologise for multiple confusing spelling mistakes in the two previous posts 😂

Tchen ceiling, just as and as the first so then I figured out how to drain the central heating and did that rather than it do that sporadically throughout the night. We had no water or heating this morning, but luckily a friend brought his neighbour over who is a plumber. So grateful.

Just waiting to hear if my DH is on a train. He missed too earlier as there was a security scare. I think if he misses this one he won’t catch his flight tomorrow. He will arrive home eventually one way or another. We’ve managed a year, so we can manage a few more hours/ days if we have to.

I think we might be cycle buddies this time @CurlyWurly1991. I’m CD 4. Going to OPK it this time, but the two times I’ve done it before, I’ve ovulated on day 19 and usually have 33/35 day cycles. Hope that you’re feeling so much better soon. Have you tried spatone? I found it really helped me bounce back quickly when I’ve had low iron before x

CD6 here, knackering week. I have just finished af and always feel drained at this time, I guess it’s due to the iron deficiency which I am in the process of sorting.
husbands sperm analysis was all in normal range so that’s a relief. Will start OPKs in a few days.

@SnookyPook I’m glad that the bleeding has stopped for you. I’d imagine it a bit of a relief knowing that’s a stage complete, but also with plenty of other emotions thrown in for good measure.

My update is that one of my central heating pipes just burst, minutes after I’d put my toddler to bed thank goodness. I live in a project of a house, so luckily the floorboards weren’t screwed down from the last time it happened. I just now have a pretty soggy kitchen and floorboards everywhere in my bedroom 😂 Why it couldn’t have waited 48 hours for DH to be home I’ll never know… !!
