@JC084 there's definitely a line. I'm about 16DPO. I've run out of FRER so have more arriving today. Used a Babyplan one I've got left and I know people have said they come up incredibly faint, they aren't joking. I'm taking it as a good thing a line has come up and hope a FRER tomorrow will be darker than yesterday's 🤞

@Catson I'm so pleased to hear everything is going well so far for you.

Catson · 24/11/2023 08:34

Hello, thought I'd check in here. Congratulations to all the BFPs!

Just for an update I am now around 9 weeks pregnant, I can't quite decide if time is flying or going slowly.

Hope everyone is ok

JC084 · 24/11/2023 08:23

Another test this morning and still very faint - dpo13.
So nervous after our early miscarriage in the summer ... but there's definitely a line isn't there

@FiddleLeaf amazing and beautiful that you know your body so well. Hope this is the beginning of a healthy pregnancy and you have your baby in your arms in 9 months time!!

worldwidetravel2017 · 23/11/2023 20:45

Thank you
My strong character started at birth - was 9 weeks early
Very lucky to be - born okay - kinda thing

FiddleLeaf · 23/11/2023 20:44

Thanks all 😚I’m certainly not counting my chickens yet especially after my loss but it’s exciting not to be out.

@worldwidetravel2017 It’s a postcode lottery. I moved last year and 37 is the cut off here. My last postcode it’s 40. Really frustrating but I’ve tried to focus on our luck that we can afford it, just. I’ve been thinking of you since reading this thread - you’re a strong character but sorry you’re having to be. It puts everything into perspective.

@CurlyWurly1991 I’ve been pregnant 3 times (a termination years ago, my MMC and this one if the tests are right), all 3 times I’ve had heartburn 3 or 4 days after ovulation or for the MMC, the embryo transfer. From there I’ve had vivid dreams, tired from half 4, quite clumsy and generally being a bit daft - I poured hot water on myself this morning. I’ve also been having these hiccups/mini burps fairly frequently and a little breathless, another common symptom for me!

worldwidetravel2017 · 23/11/2023 20:37

Not guna lie - was meant to get my will done 2 years ago when sold a flat.

Bkd appt to sort it next month

worldwidetravel2017 · 23/11/2023 20:35

Well..

Time to pull my brave big girl pants up so to speak

4 hospital appts in next 11 days

Had a consultant ring me yesterday

Tbh - if i get through the next 2 - 3 weeks without a life limiting or life changing diagnosis - they'll be a very big celebration

Very scared.

Well… I couldn’t resist and did a cheapie last night AND this morning. Last night showed a hint of a line with colour but so slight I had my torch on it! It’s a little brighter now it’s dried.

and today I can see right now even though I’m leaning away from my desk. I won’t believe it until I’ve done a digital test at the weekend but so far, so good! App thinks I’m 8DPO today but it’s possible I ovulated early because this is the first month in nearly 2 years where I haven’t used OPKs!

picture quality is pants… sorry!

Congrats :) ☆

Thank you my sweet. I’m not feeling any signs today apart from more vivid dreams last night and I’m knackered! Sorry to see your see on this journey too x

We paid for a package which was £10.3k for 2 fresh cycles but medication has been just over £3k (it would have been cheaper had I not been pregnant & taking progesterone for 7wks) and then we had our embryos tested for abnormalities, a further £4K. Not quite £20k but getting there! The good news is our package has unlimited embryo transfers for free excluding the meds.

The price is crazy! Luckily I had savings from a house move but there are instalment plans available.

I was too old by 3 months to have a round on the NHS 😫

Sorry to hear that - whats the age limit or does it vary geographically?

H0pefull · 23/11/2023 20:08

@RoseH36 I remember you, welcome back!! Congratulations on your BFP, your anxieties are completely understandable but everything crossed for you lovely 🥰

@FiddleLeaf congratulations to you too!! Lovely news xxx

Bumblebee413 · 23/11/2023 19:23

I think it’s DTD time for us too. Dark lines this morning and this evening, but both after five minutes as I got distracted…

We managed it last night, despite both being tired and grumpy. Any tips for getting in the mood when I’ve eaten my own body weight in food today, I’ve got minutes to write up and a presentation to prepare this evening and he’s knackered too?? Sexiest combination ever, right? 😝 Hopefully last night did the job… 🙊

Cressie2 · 23/11/2023 19:09

@FiddleLeaf congratulations! 💥💥 Welcome @JC084 @MrsBP15 I would DTD in the morning just incase ovulation actually happened within 12 hours, rather than within 36 hours. Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻

CurlyWurly1991 · 23/11/2023 18:54

@RoseH36 i hope your next test lines are what you are hoping for xx I know it has been a hard journey and fingers crossed this bfp gets stronger and stronger

@FiddleLeaf that is amazing news! You just knew! What symptoms tipped you off and when?

@JC084 congratulations!!

@MrsBP15 i don’t think opk timing is clear cut - is it usually 12-36 hours before ov actually occurs, or something like that? You want swimmers to be in place beforehand so ideally to start dtd before you get the positive Opk and then day of and day after (at least) I think…. Time of day is probably more about your schedule and interest in dtd and time available!

4dpo here. Might stop temping as I can see ov is confirmed and I don’t think you can tell whether it’s an ovulatory or bfp cycle based on that so just unecessary torture. Need to distract myself… hope all the BFPs on this thread are a good sign for us all!!

MrsBP15 · 23/11/2023 18:45

Congratulations to all those seeing lines, even if they are faint! Crossing everything for you that you have the stickiest of beans 🫘

I have an ovulation question. Basically, I get my strongest lines on OPKs with the first urine of the day (I use Clear Blues as well but that’s more to confirm positive tests) I realise I’m a bit of an anomaly with it as people say later in the day is when you should test but I do both and always find later in the day is lighter (I hold for four hours and limit liquid intake).

my question is, should we be DTD in the morning as that is when tests are strongest or am I just clutching at straws? We leave quite early for work so tend to DTD when we get home (6ish) or when we go to bed (10ish).

Any thoughts/opinions welcome!!

RoseH36 · 23/11/2023 18:36

@FiddleLeaf @JC084 I can see both of your lines too, keeping everything crossed.

@Bumblebee413 thank you. Hope you're doing well x

Bumblebee413 · 23/11/2023 18:21

Oh @FiddleLeaf and @RoseH36 I see your lines!! Amazing! Welcome @JC084 and congratulations!! X

FiddleLeaf · 23/11/2023 16:40

Same to you @JC084 ! My digital arrives tomorrow but OH is away so will wait for his return and keep my recent testing a secret 😬

JC084 · 23/11/2023 15:02

@FiddleLeaf thank you - I ordered one earlier and it will be here tomorrow. Will try to wait until the weekend to do it and just try another internet cheap one tomorrow.

Hope you get good news too!

FiddleLeaf · 23/11/2023 13:03

I can see a line @JC084 . I recommend getting a Clearblue early detection digital test. Always loved those for the clearest outcome 😊

JC084 · 23/11/2023 12:13

Hi all,
Hope you don't mind me joining. I turn 40 in Jan and we have been trying for most of this year for our second child. Had a chemical in august and nothing since.
11dpo yesterday and got a v v v faint line. Husband and I could both see it, but worried we are just seeing it as we are so Desperate for it to be there...
Took another test with FMU today and I am
Sure I can see a line ... but again, wonder if I'm just imagining it as I want to see it so badly 🙈😬

Thoughts....?

RoseH36 · 23/11/2023 12:05

Just used the last of my First Response. Thought it was negative but just checked and the line is about the same as the one this morning (so top one in the image above). Don't really know what to think.

RoseH36 · 23/11/2023 08:54

@Cressie2 thank you. I really hope you're right but I've never had lines so faint before. Kept telling myself it can all depend when implantation occurred etc so that could be why they were so faint. I had period pain type cramping last Monday all day so did wonder if implantation was then.

Todays test was with FMU again. I'll get another test and see if that shows anything later.

Cressie2 · 23/11/2023 08:50

Welcome back @RoseH36! I think this is your BFP rather than a chemical, especially as the digital is showing yes. The faint line today could be for a variety of reasons (urine sample etc) so I would test again today or tomorrow on a Clearblue or Boots test. Keeping everything crossed for you 🤞🏻
