period is 3d late which never happens (unless im pg) and shows no sign at all of rearing its ugly head. bought a boots test today and did it mid morning (definately NOT 1st wee, have to squeeze it out, TMI, sorry) and twas a bfn.

just read though that boots tests are probably the least sensitive (doh) any stories?

OracleInaCoracle · 09/03/2008 09:34

have you saved some morning wee or are you going to literally poas??

(why am i asking these things ?)

OracleInaCoracle · 09/03/2008 09:28

Ah sorry Didn't realise the history.

In that case I would try to get ABLOOD TEST ASAP.

sORRY YOU ARE GOING THROUGH THIS.

xx

alittlebitshy · 09/03/2008 09:26

are you off out for cb (or whichever) as soon as the shops open then ?

OracleInaCoracle · 09/03/2008 09:24

possible, but the problem i have with waiting is that if it is another ep then i dont have much time. i lost my left tube at 6w4d, i need a scan i future pg's at 5w to allow time to accurately diagnose an ep. the gp said if im ever unsure she will organise an emergancy blood test.

OP posts:
Disenchanted · 09/03/2008 09:19

The best thing to do (other than gt a blood test) is to wait another week!

Easier said than done I know, but then your answer should be clear.

Perhaps you ovulated late this cycle?

OracleInaCoracle · 09/03/2008 09:17

ok, well off to brum tomorrow with lilred but will ask for a blood test as well. dh is being fab and reminding me that when i was pg with ds i got vv erratic results from urine.

Aww Lissie, I do agree with Lulumama. You will feel everything. I still have everything crossed for you.

You'd think after all the thousands of years women have been having babies it wouldn't be so hard and nervewracking.

Still not sure here either really.

Lulumama · 09/03/2008 09:01

ok, you will feel every twinge a million times more strongly due to your history, hard not to worry x

OracleInaCoracle · 09/03/2008 08:57

really worried about ep. had a little mild discomfort on right side, but EPU wont see me til i get a bfp.

will buy a CB or first response today i think.

OP posts:
Disenchanted · 09/03/2008 08:52

Can you do another test tomorrow morning?

First response with 1st wee?

Lulumama · 09/03/2008 08:51

worried that it is ectopic? or something else/

OracleInaCoracle · 09/03/2008 08:48

still nothing. nada. not a sign. im really worried no!

OP posts:
OracleInaCoracle · 08/03/2008 21:25

still no period and any crampyness i had has totally gone now. im so scared!

OP posts:
OracleInaCoracle · 08/03/2008 18:27

thanks everyone btw, its just so frustrating. i started my periods when i was 18 and apart from when my weight was too low and when i was pg it has come every 28d. ive had the (very occasional) 1d late, but now its nearly 4d late (always starts in the morning/overnight)
shall just have to be patient. getting good at that!

OP posts:
OracleInaCoracle · 08/03/2008 18:10

its an experimental test lulu. lwh is the only nhs hospital in the uk to run it.

OP posts:
alittlebitshy · 08/03/2008 18:07

oh lissie! Just to say I'm thinking of you with crossed fingers and hoping this is a dodgy test rather than messed up cycle.

Lulumama · 08/03/2008 18:03

i did an asda test with DD at 1 day late, in the middle of the afternoon and it was accurate. although i did take it to 2 friend's houses so they could check it with me

might be a blip, my dear....

how come you cannot get this killer cells test for free as part of your treatment?

Teuch · 08/03/2008 17:57

First Response is only 12.5!!!

OracleInaCoracle · 08/03/2008 16:56

just found a table of HPT's sensitivity and it would appear that boots is 50mIu, while cb is 25mIu.

not great when using it at 11am with watered down wee

OP posts:
OracleInaCoracle · 08/03/2008 16:48

they say that it is just bad luck. because of the stage i am mc-ing at it would appear to be a chromosonal prob. we atre eligable for a uterine killer cells test, but its pricey!

ladytophamhatt · 08/03/2008 16:45

awwww...well if you both dont wnato give up why not cancel the implant?
I know it must be for you trying again after so much heartache for you.
Have the hospital given any reason for so many losses?

Sorry I have followed your story but not closely.

agai tell me to button it if you like.

OracleInaCoracle · 08/03/2008 16:38

well, we decided to continue untill the doc gets me in for the implant. dh doesnt want to give up yet (neither do i tbh) so we have agreed to give it another month or so. but havent been properly ttc iykwim
