I think you can see it more on a video, it won't let me upload, but these are screenshots.

Debating whether to tell my OH as I don't want to get his hopes up.

Can for sure see a faint line 💕

🤞🏼 it gets darker!

hicketypickety · 10/11/2023 09:38

@Lushfanatic123 I can see something hopefully if you test today or tomorrow you'll get a stronger line.

I got a positive OPK on weds so DTD Weds, Thurs and will do today to try and make sure we're covered then on to the dreaded TWW

Lushfanatic123 · 09/11/2023 21:51

Yeah I will, although it is hard, I'm not good at keeping secrets like this!

I'd hold saying something until there's a stronger line, personally.

But I think I can see something, but very faint

Lushfanatic123 · 09/11/2023 21:19

Thank you all!

Maybe I'm not going mad and it explains the food aversions I have been having, which is different to my first pregnancy.

I'm going to get some more tests tomorrow and hopefully will get a stronger line 🤞

I'll keep you all posted!

Swirls346 · 09/11/2023 21:15

@Lushfanatic123 definitely see it!

Sleepysheepish · 09/11/2023 21:10

@Lushfanatic123 I see it!

dg3131 · 09/11/2023 21:09

@Lushfanatic123 can absolutely see something here 🤞🏼

Possibly 10 dpo today and the food aversions continues.

Went out for a meal with my team at work and had to pretend I did like what I ordered as I couldn't eat it and had to push the plate away due to the smell making me feel sick.

Is 10dpo too early to test?

starryx · 09/11/2023 16:27

Outliers · 09/11/2023 12:24

Good luck Starry, incredibly strong will power not to have tested in advance, well done.

6DPO. Got that funny taste in my mouth I had with previous pregnancies. However I have a cracked tooth that needs removing so suspect that's the source! Gargling salt water until it's removed.

Last night discovered a friend has been battling with stage 4 CRC cancer. She's quite young (27) and has had to freeze her eggs due to damage chemo is doing to her body. Just puts things in perspective and provides clarity over small issues that often feel bigger than they are.

Thank you 😊 it has been hard at times but I've persisted

WishingUponARainbow · 09/11/2023 16:23

@wanderlustre bless you, I keep reading things about air fresheners and chemicals in the home causing cancer and infertility and all sorts 🤦🏻‍♀️ even saw someone saying about candles and how bad they are... almost sent me over the edge the thought of not being able to burn my lovely candles!

I really hope everything works out for you and you have a positive journey, I'm sure you'll keep us all updated in here but keeping everything crossed for you and sending lots of baby dust ✨

Optimistic2021 · 09/11/2023 13:38

Well that's me out, periods started this morning 😢 did have a feeling they were coming so not a complete surprise!

I used ovulation tests with my first baby and fell pregnant straight away so naively thought the same might happen again! Wonder why it's different this time round 🤔

Oh well on to the next month!

wanderlustre · 09/11/2023 12:48

@WishingUponARainbow Fingers crossed for you!

I'm driving myself crazy trying to "prepare" for IVF, which has been mainly me clearing my cupboards of white rice and convincing myself my air freshener is killing me 🙃it's took the pressure off trying to conceive unassisted though so I'm not doing a million and one OPKs, just CB ones each morning so I still feel like I know where I'm up to. Just need to wait for my forms and first appointment for IVF really so I can stop stressing myself out.

WishingUponARainbow · 09/11/2023 12:27

@wanderlustre thank you so much for your reply and information. So fustrating that everything seems to just take so long.

Hopefully I won't need it and I'll get my BFP this month 🤞🏼
How's it all going for you?

Not sure if will come on or it's the bfp month maybe?
Will see how I go and update - if I ain't seen af by Saturday then it's test time

Blackberry95 · 09/11/2023 10:16

A little line progression update from me- thought I would share as this is something I’ve been searching for online to reassure myself ☺️ looking ok so far fingers crossed!
also shout out for Wondfo tests they are so cheap and have been fantastic picking up even a faint line at 10dpo

Getting a hycosy today 🤞🤞 ttc 2 years! I hope this gives me some answers

wanderlustre · 09/11/2023 08:11

@WishingUponARainbow I was referred by my GP in April and had an appointment by mid-May (for the Women's in Liverpool). So the wait for the first appointment was pretty quick but it took 6 months to get my follow up. First appointment was lots of tests (bloods, internal scan, vaginal swab, medical history, DH did a seven analysis a few days later) and second appointment was results. My results were pretty concerning so I was immediately referred for IVF which they hope will start within 6 weeks (I'm under the 2 years of trying by about 6 months but the consultant said there was no time to waste). I imagine wait times will be different depending on the capacity of the hospital but hope that helps a bit.

Hi ladies I'm cd18 and have had high opks since cd16. I tested for 42 days last cycle and never got a positive, the cycle went on to last for 60 days and the one before was 65 days so getting a positive opk is exciting. But now can't stop with the positives! How long do you find your positive opks tend to last for? Am I right in thinking ovulation is 24 to 48 hours after peak so won't happen until it goes negative again? Or does me keep having these high ones mean this won't be a surge just weird hormone levels so I won't ovulate? Thanks!

happymum1001 · 08/11/2023 22:44

Haven’t been active on this chat since start of this cycle! Hope everyone is doing okay:) I’m hoping this is my peak🤞🏽

Today is CD24 and I'm 2/3DPO.
I had my follow up appointment at the GP today.

She said my progesterone levels are lower than she'd like and although I don't meet the criteria yet (I'm under 35 and haven't been trying for 2 years yet) she is going to try and refer me to a clinic.
Does anyone have any rough idea of how long a referral might take?
I'm not naive enough to think that this is going to be a quick process 😬
