Bbt drop at 4/5 dpo!

Hi, I currently have been TTC for 6 months, I only used to use ovulation tests but I started with tracking my bbt along with opks 3 month ago. This month I noticed a dip in bbt at 4 and 5 dpo, I’m currently 5DPO today. Im fairly new to the bbt charting so any help would be appreciated. Am I out this cycle? Or is this normal?

has anyone else had a bbt dip at 4/5 dpo?

What was your ovulation tests like this cycle? Mine haven’t gone past 0.62 but my bbt is rising which makes me think I ovulated after that test I am 6dpo today🤞🏼

1dpo - Increase libido, sore breasts, creamy cm
2dpo- headache- which I never get, sore breasts, tired and anxious
3dpo- No symptoms, watery cm
4dpo- Watery cm again, sore breasts
5dpo- sore breasts, nausea when in the car, and a headache all day, I lay in bed all did with no energy and had small aching cramps, I had moody swings and felt very moody
6dpo- Creamy cm, headache, sore breasts, mood swings again, very irritable, really bad cramps- they felt too intense to be implantation so I didn’t expect anything from them
7dpo- Headache, sore breasts, some dizziness, sharp cramping in lower stomach they weren’t to the right or left just all across the lower stomach, creamy cm, felt happy and tired
8dpo- sharp pains in lower abdomen, tired and tested positive on a frer and clear blue digital.

in regards to cervical positioning, it was mainly high and soft but at one point I think it was 6dpo it was low, closed and firm. I don’t think this plays too much of a part when conceiving

i never usually get headaches so that was a bit if a giveaway and also the sharp pains, I still have these pains today. I did have a bbt dip at 5DPO but I didn’t think it was implantation as it was so early

Hiya @tlw14 yeah the two week wait is hard! I caved today, did not expect a positive at all. I will write a list of my symptoms per dpo for yous. I always googled peoples symptoms per dpo and compared mine just to help get me through the wait.. and thank you so much

My tests came today and I couldn’t resist… it’s positive on a frer! 8dpo, still have sharp pains in lower stomach

@JulyT Yeah maybe a good sign if it’s early for you, my bbt went down again today a little but still having some small cramping, I’m thinking it’s probably over this month already

yeah Apparently opks can pick up pregnancy, I’ve seen lots of videos of women taking opks and pregnancy tests and both are positive. Yeah that’s probably the best way, I just have no will power so I’m going to try wait until 9/10dpo, but knowing me il end up caving tomorrow or 8dpo haha

@Beth1414 I stopped testing after I ovulated…I didn’t know there was any relevance to keep testing?
Well my cycle last month was 32 days which means AF is due on the 26th but Fertility friend is saying I’m due on 27th…so maybe I will test on the 28th if AF is a no show. I’m not into testing early, personally I feel like if it doesn’t stick then I don’t need to know but that’s just me & I completely understand why people would want to test early & know either way. Although I might get more impatient the more cycles I go through. What about you?

Oh really. Mines high too! I never knew that so that’s good. I don’t a opk test just now and it’s darker than the previous ones, I’m hoping it’s because it’s picking a hormone up rather than a spike before af.. when do you plan to test?

@Beth1414 well I thought I did…but today not really anything. All the symptoms I thought I was feeling are gone so no idea! Lol. Cervix is still high & I’ve read it lowers 7-10 days before AF so if it’s still high after the weekend then maybe 🤔

Hiya, thank you for sharing your chart with me. That clears things up for me thank you, So people can get dips at any point and this may or may not mean pregnancy
