@Catson sorry meant to tag you too!

@HRHXO honestly there’s no link between what dpo you’ve had before and this time - every pregnancy is just different. I was 1000% sure I was out, had no symptoms for days and a run of BFNs, I even went out for drinks and then it happened. Only a 3rd of women get a BFP at 10dpo and only half on 11… you’ve still got every chance 👍🏼

Catson · 14/10/2023 10:31

I've done the same today @HRHXO and I also got a positive at 11dpo last time, so feeling very similar

HRHXO · 14/10/2023 07:27

Thanks everyone, it can be disheartening but I know it's still early. Although I just have a feeling I'm out now. 10dpo and a bfn again this morning. My last bfp was 11dpo so not feeling very optimistic now! 😕

BB78910 · 13/10/2023 21:43

@PADonk tested and BFN this morning. Took one test with me on the trip so will give it a go in 2 days and if it’s negative it’s negative. I’m pretty sure I’m out, boobs are PMS kind of achey so it is what it is. Super disappointing. How are you getting on?
@Bl1991 welcome! No experience with that either but keeping my fingers crossed for you!
@HRHXO like the others have said you’re defo not out yet, I just kind of know my body etc because I track every symptom like a crazy woman so it’s documented in my flo app 🤣🤣

PADonk · 13/10/2023 19:27

@Catson yep didn’t have a hint of a line until 13dpo on 10miu tests, you’ve still got ages yet before you should get disheartened!

@Bl1991 welcome! I’m definitely not an expert temp-er but someone else here might be. As long as it’s going up I’d say good sign 👍🏼

@HRHXO I'd imagine a lot of people have. 9dpo is super, super early. The earliest implantation can roughly occur is 8dpo. hcg levels double every 48-72 hours, so realistically a BFP on an early detection (10hcg) might happen at 10dpo or 11dpo depending how quickly your levels rise (either is normal). But depending on the concentration in your wee it could be 12-14dpo before a BFP. So don't be disheartened

HRHXO · 13/10/2023 17:14

Ugh 9dpo and bfn with dmu, don't even know why I bothered, I got my bfp at 11dpo last time and it was so strong that I thought if I had have tested at 9dpo last time there might have been a faint line hence today's test 😅. AF not due until 18/19th but I feel like I'm out now for some reason! How is everyone else feeling? Anyone had a bfn at 9dpo but bfp later on?

Bl1991 · 13/10/2023 09:18

Hey ladies! Mind if I join you?
Im currently 6DPO on cycle 5 of TTC #2.

I must say, as hard as the TWW is, I also enjoy the fact there’s that possibility I might be pregnant and have like symptom spotting (despite everyone saying you shouldn’t!)

I had a big temp spike today that I posted about looking for some advice on if there’s any hardened tempers in here!

how’s everyone feeling today?

PADonk · 13/10/2023 08:27

@BB78910 i wouldn’t worry too much about that - this is the 1st time when I’ve been pregnant I’ve ever spotted and it was nearly a week after implantation. Did you say you’re testing this morning? Hope you manage to chill and enjoy your trip xx

@Catson I’m still dying to find out why FRERs have been discontinued in the UK, they still seem to be about in the US etc. Tests are mad expensive but like @PADonk said I do one steps and then Boots early detection then a CB digital when it’s far along enough to show 3+ just for peace of mind

and thank you, I got a bit excited cos I had two really piercing sharp pains on my left today (both different parts of the day and lasted no more than 2s) but no spotting :(

PADonk · 12/10/2023 11:18

@Catson yeah I couldn’t find any for love or money - I buy a load of one step early detection cheapies from Amazon and if I think I see anything then Boots 👌🏼

@BB78910 I’ve still got a v good feeling for you this month 🙏🏼

OP posts:
Catson · 12/10/2023 09:51

I didn't test too early with my first pregnancy so going to try and hold off this time too. I did test I think a day early and used a Frer but they don't seem to exist any more. Are the boots early detection the best ones now? Also, how expensive are tests now!!

BB78910 · 12/10/2023 08:06

Yes ladies just keep POAS, no judgement in this group either when you ask for opinions on lines (I’ve seen some groups absolutely slating women for asking for line eyes)

ive been so exhausted yesterday and feeling a little nauseous but I haven’t spotted and I defo do around implantation so I don’t know if it’s just a coincidence.

I also implant early ish CD20/21 which would mean yesterday / today 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

PADonk · 11/10/2023 13:20

@BB78910 sounds like a good plan, though I didn’t have a hint of a line until 13dpo (and after my leaving do where I imbibed a fair amount of wine and gin - seems to be a common situation on mumsnet though with no long-term adverse outcomes 🤞🏼😂). Let us know how it goes, and yes enjoy your hols!

@Roses12345 glad you’re getting on ok ❤️

@HRHXO @Catson best of luck ladies - only 35% of women get a BFP at 10dpo so don’t be too disheartened if you get BFNs at first. I’d say best to hold out as long as poss but I’ve only ever managed to do that one cycle so I’d be being the world’s biggest hypocrite 🫣

@BB78910 ah that makes perfect sense, fingers crossed for you and Hooe you have a lovely holiday!

@Catson I know what you mean, I'm really not ready for that potential disappointment but I'm so eager as well! I'm only 7dpo and symptom spotting like mad even though I'm sure the last time I was pregnant I had no symptoms!

Catson · 11/10/2023 09:24

I'm due AF around the same time as you @HRHXO not sure when to test though. I'm feeling so unconfident

BB78910 · 11/10/2023 09:11

@PADonk glad it’s slowing down for you a bit! I love MAFS, I think I’m behind a few eps though! there’s loads to watch atm so I’m trying to balance 😂 watching the Beckham thing with DP at the moment as well.
@HRHXO i think Friday FMU - that’s when I fly out on holiday so ideally would like to know. I don’t want to not drink when offered and family writing their own narratives for nothing

Roses12345 · 11/10/2023 08:16

@PADonk yeah I hear you @BB78910 I'm doing ok thank you for asking 🙂 x

HRHXO · 10/10/2023 20:57

@BB78910 I'm due 18th/19th according to Flo and Premom. I'm trying to hold off on testing until Sunday at the earliest but I'm so nervous! When will you test?

PADonk · 10/10/2023 20:54

@Roses12345 @BB78910 thanks girls 🥰 little bit more this evening but definitely lighter again - I think if I wasn’t so paranoid there’s a good chance I’d never even have noticed it so really hoping it’s just the dregs / telling myself if there was a problem it’s be getting heavier and redder. Curled up in bed with some shit fake fizz waiting for MAFS to start to take my mind off it!

how many dpo are you now @BB78910 ? Will have everything crossed for all of you ladies in TWW - keep us updated please! 🙏🏼

BB78910 · 10/10/2023 20:49

@PADonk any news on the spotting? Hoping it’s stopped now! I’m still unsure if this month is my month. The next 3-4 days I’ll know as I’ve sort of learnt how to distinguish between PMS and pregnancy at this point.

@Roses12345 how have you been? X

@HRHXO hey, I think we’re a similar DPO? My periods due on the 19th but always turns up a couple of days early!

Roses12345 · 10/10/2023 09:50

@HRHXO it's the way it gets you in the tww, mind in overdrive @PADonk yeah I understand its stressful n to try not to stress is hard ha, the brown spotting is better than the red they say ,and even u see people who have had red spotting even bits of bleeding and they be ok obviously u are you though and it's scary no matter what but I hope everything is ok, and you have a healthy pregnancy x

PADonk · 09/10/2023 21:38

@Roses12345 ah thanks pal - had a bit more brown spotting today so it’s hard to just chill and forget about it but it’s definitely lighter than yesterday still. Just want to not be stressed for 5 minutes! 😂 honestly the whole TTC thing is just a headf*ck, as you well know. How you getting on?

@BB78910 I’d say any symptom is a positive sign! And I’m sure your colleagues appreciated you not checking out your tingly boobs in their presence 🤣

@HRHXO weve done 3 mini holidays since my mc in feb and they’ve all been so needed - definitely a good plan you’ve got 👍🏼

OP posts:
HRHXO · 09/10/2023 21:12

@Roses12345 I keep wishing time would move a little faster so I can test but I don't wanna wish my life away especially with DS only 14 months old (12 corrected).

I need to relax because if I'm not pregnant by April I will book a nice family holiday and enjoy it fully before trying again. I've not been abroad since 2019 due to covid and then buying a house and then becoming pregnant and having a preemie so I think I deserve a holiday!
