Come over! I've got chocolate as well!

jingleballs · 18/12/2004 21:32

oi, mrs, don't think u'll get out of not sharing that wine with us! he he!

hester · 18/12/2004 21:30

Welcome back SweetFudge! Great to have you on here. In answer to your q: I think me and dp will probably give up at the same time, but we haven't agreed when that will be yet. I feel exhausted and depressed right now; she has the strength to carry on. But there will come a point (pretty soon) where it just isn't sensible to carry on, because of our ages. And, of course, our donor may get bored before we do...

Colinsmommy, so sorry... . Thinking of you tonight.

Well Tania, your advice was very good, and i did get as far as putting on a full face of slap, but then just felt too tired and ill to go out. So sent off dp without me and then instantly regretted it! Have put a bottle of wine in the fridge so may toast myself later.

Hulababy · 18/12/2004 19:35

Wow! Good luck then. From experience of my two pgs (DD and my early mc) tests don't tend to show up early for me. Trouble is las month's cycle ended up being about 31 or 32 days - so may have a long wait ahead.

morningpaper · 18/12/2004 19:32

Nah I'm going to crack on open early I reckon... I'll bet I'll be tempted on Christmas morning - I've got two tests left over from last month's madness so I'll have no self-control...

Hulababy · 18/12/2004 19:31

Well, lets hope there lots of baby dust around and that it works for us both this time round. So when will testing time be? First week in January maybe???

morningpaper · 18/12/2004 19:28

Hi Hula, looks like we are in the same boat again, just two weeks of going increasingly mad then.

Hulababy · 18/12/2004 19:04

Well, let's just say fingers crossed We will see.

FastAsleepInAManger · 18/12/2004 18:53

Did you get chance to bd hula? best of luck if you did! I am soooo exhausted today that I'm going to shut up right this second....the end lol

Hulababy · 18/12/2004 18:48

Evening. How's everyone today?

CD15 and raised temp today - yeah, I found my BBT thermometer at last. Didn't do temp yesterday as forgot but much higher than previous readings, and had EWCM for past 4 days - gone now. So may have OVd earliier by a day or two.

jeddah · 18/12/2004 18:11

sent GP letter.
sorry colin for the BFN! how many dpo are you?
Off out to a dinner party chat tomorrow.

FastAsleepInAManger · 18/12/2004 16:05

hugs to colins and jingle!!... sorry feeling exhausted today lol....

Colinsawmommykissingsantaclaus · 18/12/2004 15:50

Morning all. Still having spotting today, took a test and got a BFN. Having a bit of cramping too, so . . . I guess I don't really want to finish the sentence.

jingleballs · 18/12/2004 15:04

sf - where r u then? at least u'll have DH with u for xmas as something to look forward to..

I'm on CD 20 and feelin v emotional today - I've just watch dawsons creek and cried! - I was gonin to watch disc health but they have the baby progs on and on living as well, whihc will only be more depressing, and to cap it off my friend gave birth to a little boy 10 days ago!, ( I am happy for her thou as she wasn't expecting to get to 25 weeks, let alone 38 but it's all still depressing as they wern't trying iycwim) even if I can't do much about it right now, it's still getting to me at teh minute. and then in DH's call latest night he says they've put the flights home in the air again so we don't know what it will be now, just that it will be some when in jan.

SweetFudge · 18/12/2004 13:04

Hi, JB. DH is back in London. He'll be flying out to join me on Christmas Eve for a couple of weeks. I'm out here till mid Feb. My net access is going to be rather erratic though and I'm eight hours ahead of GMT.

jingleballs · 18/12/2004 11:55

SF course it is, welcome on board hon! wheres ur DH?

SweetFudge · 18/12/2004 11:37

Hello everyone,

I'd like to join the December thread - Will it be alright with all of you as I haven't joined the last few ones? DH isn't flying over to join me for a while yet and mumsnet is good company.

Waiting for af to appear too. Cramping for days and sore, sore boobs. I haven't been able to log on to mumsnet for about a week and a half since I'm working overseas for the next two months and internet access isn't readily available where I am.

I've been thinking about all the TTCs and kept hoping for some BFGs...so, many congrats to kizzy and oopsanta.

Hester, would your dp continue if you do make the tough decision to call a halt to the inseminations? I hope you'll continue on this ttc journey for a while more but I also understand the heartbreak we all go through each month when the damned red tide appears.

Lots of babydust to all ttcs.

jingleballs · 18/12/2004 10:53

morning all, just been out shopping - (it's not busy if u go at 8.30/9! lol) so off to tidy up my mess again - it's never ending this whole running a house lark is it! lol.

jeddah · 18/12/2004 10:22

Tania2 · 18/12/2004 09:05

Oh hester maybe it might be a good idea just to kick back with some friends (without kids) have a few drinks and relax it might do you the world of good maybe your body is telling you to drink and be merry
Dh and i are going to get drunk together tonight when ds is asleep play some board games and just plain old get SMASHED just the two of us. well thats the plan we'll see if we actually do

hester · 18/12/2004 08:33

Jedds, you poor thing, you must be furious. Six months is way too long and yes, you must pull every string at your disposal. If they won't budge, what is your Plan B? Do you think you could get them to refer you elsewhere? Or would you be able to see him privately? The system is ridiculous; I know no-one should wait that long, but there really ought to be some sort of fast-tracking for those of us where time is absolutely critical.

Tania - thanks, honey. At the moment I don't feel brave, I feel like a mess. Hoping a good rest over Christmas will put me in a better place and give me the strength to get through the next few months - and whatever happens after.

Sweetie, I don't think you should get too caught up on the chlamydia thing when it may be irrelevant to your case. But just so you know, yes a man can have it and never realise. It is very common and often symptomless - very different from other STDs.

I too wish we could sit in your garden with a glass of something nice and cold and have a good chat about it all. Cyberspace is good but not quite good enough!

Colinsmommy - really, really hoping your light spotting is sign of one thing and not the other...

As for me, I have three party invites this weekend and am trying to decide whether it would do me good to kick up my heels, drink champagne and be forced to be jolly, or whether I'd be better off wrapped in a blanket on the couch, taking it really easy. It may be decided by how well I feel: I'm exhausted and STILL NAUSEOUS (tenth day!). I welcomed it when I thought I was pg; now I hate it, as well as making me feel crap it's like a continuing reminder, poking fun at me for being such an idiot, going 'ner ner ner ner ner'..

Tania2 · 18/12/2004 06:03

Hi girls family has finally left and ds has fallen asleep on the couch watching shreak 2.
Colin iam 11 hours infront where are you? Its a pain isnt it noone to really chat to live as everyone is asleep.
Thanks hester for the info it seems to be very common if i have got it it could only be partner number 3 or dh has played up surely the guy would know if he had it they do get symptoms?? Sorry about af arriving have to give you credit for sticking it out for 5 years i wanted to throw in the towel yesterday and thats only after 1 year. you inspire me you would have to be the strongest person i know. Really wish i didnt live to far away cause i really just want to give you a big hug and tell you everything is going to be ok and yeah get pissed too that always seems to help me
JB sorry about af but it does seem strange dont want to get your hopes up but i did have spotting when i was pg with ds enough that i counted it as af are you due for af? thanks for looking up that info for me but they wont even let me enter the site says access denied only for uk residence. could you cat me the page please?
Jeddah shit 6 bloody months and here i was winging that i had to wait that long for my laperoscapy is there a shortage of gyno's in the uk? Regardless of age or anything the wait should never be that bloody long. Kick up a really bit fuss and use your contacts in the field to get you somewhere you deserve better!!!
So wish i could meet you guys feeling that i will never get the chance.
Sorry for your friend Fastasleep.

jingleballs · 17/12/2004 23:32
