Evening everyone,

Hester - Of course! CAT me. It should work but if it doesn't, post me on the thread.

We've also paid for a consultation with a voluntary agency dealing with overseas adoptions and went through our local authority to find one approved by them. So if that is an option you and your dp might consider, I'll be happy to pass on info that may help.

AF hasn't made an appearance yet and I haven't tested but it isn't because I have an iron will. It is the thought of another BFN which is firmly staying my hand.

I may be late in responding to you by e-mail due to a limited accessibility to the web.

Good morning girls.
Jed Yeah 4 weeks well done hope you get some answers.
Moschops sounds nice you lucky thing to be able to tell family on xmas day i feel telling family is ok cause if anything happens you need your family. But you will be fine chicky.
Colin ((((HUGS))))
geordie best of luck with your 1st scan it makes it more real when you can see something.
DH didnt come home till 2:30am still bd but...TMI we were both too tired to pull through with the goods how sad is that will try today he is having the afternoon off so once ds is asleep we will try again.

FastAsleepInAManger · 20/12/2004 21:09

Best of luck for the scan Geordie! I'm sure you don't need any luck either though!

FastAsleepInAManger · 20/12/2004 21:07

Aww moschops! I'm going to be like that when I get pg again, I've discovered so much more to worry about this time! If you don't feel ready to tell anyone else, then don't! Don't let christmas pressure you into anything if you get what I mean....tell them in your own time....and it's only natural to be a complete nervous wreck about being preggers!

I hope you have a healthy happy pregnancy that results in a healthy happy beautiful bubs! I'm sure it will ... if you can stomach chocolate, I highly reccommend it until all the symptoms wear off!

geordie · 20/12/2004 21:06

hi moschops.....

feeling the same as you really. I am now 6+3 I think..maybe a bit less due to ovulation.....scared stiff...avoiding the net as i seem to be getting obsessed about m/c.
feeling sick and weeing lots although no other symptoms.

have told quite a few people- although now scared of explaining m/c if it happens.

everyone else- still hoping and praying for you all....and of course sending babdust with santa ***

hope to update you all more after 1st scan when my fears have calmed a little.

FastAsleepInAManger · 20/12/2004 21:03

big hugs colins!! I know a tiny bit about being confused with the was it or wasn't a m/c thing... I hope everything goes the way you want it to really soon!

moschops · 20/12/2004 21:01

i just had an attack of paranoia...........i really can't believe i'm pregnant.....and i'm now getting worked up about telling people in case the worst happens and i miscarry....

is it normal to feel like this? i think i'm just thinking about all this too much, and i should just go with it and what happens, happens.

Colinsawmommykissingsantaclaus · 20/12/2004 20:36

Hi all. After spotting all weekend and having pain on Sat, I felt too down to post. I called my doctor's office this morning, and her nurse finally called me back. She said that it could have been a m/c, but also said that it could mean that AF is just off, since I've been on b/c for so long, and even though I had a fairly regular period the month after I came off of the b/c, this could just be the hormones getting out of my system. Or she said that it could also be due to ovulating, even though that would put me at a really long cycle, and there could still be a chance to get pregnant. They offered to make an appointment to get me in today, but I declined. They told me if I had more symptoms to come in, though, and to make sure to write down on a calendar what has been going on in case they need it later for any reason. I came away feeling quite positive from the conversation, and am in a much better mood today.

jingleballs · 20/12/2004 19:48

hmm, but then they get up on ur kitchen work tops and do god knows what! (shudders at the thought..), I'd love one but the dog would eat it. (they're only cute when they're small! lol, hopefully u'll have both

hester · 20/12/2004 19:46

You're right - a kitten would do nicely, I think. And let's face it, they're very nearly as cute as babies...

jingleballs · 20/12/2004 19:45

LOL, na hamsters chew ur curtains! lol. get a cat much less hassle! lol in fact fish there u go much easier!

hester · 20/12/2004 19:43

I may rejoin this thread announcing I've gone off the whole idea of reproducing, and I'm going to buy a hamster instead

jingleballs · 20/12/2004 19:42

lol, sounds like u'll be gettin loads a sleep then on christmas eve! lol

hester · 20/12/2004 19:41

hope to pop in and out... though will be with family so may not be easy. have just found out I am sharing bed over christmas with my three year old niece - who will no doubt wriggle, squirm and wake up every ten minutes to ask about Santa... may need to come back to work for a rest!

jingleballs · 20/12/2004 19:39

unfortunaly I won't be to much, but will try to stop in once a day, will be to at least check my emails - mum's laptop is on dial up and the old man complains about the phone being tied up, whilst costing a fortune (besides she doesn't want the DB to know it's on tinternet) so... but i'll be on emial if u need me. R u about much?

hester · 20/12/2004 19:36

jb, jedds, you around over christmas?

jingleballs · 20/12/2004 19:35

lol, yeah I recon so, do u think I should ask my dr fro my resluts? I don't really wnat to rock the boat there as he's been really good so far, and has read back into all of my gyno probs from when I was 5, soI think it's safe to say he's informed the gyno in the hosp about it all. DH won't be coming this time- He sees the first one as one for me, and If needed he'll come to the next app, besides which it's hard for him to get time out of work considering he doesn't want the whole camp to know our personal goings on etc.. and as we're not doing it thru the med centre they can be a bit funny, esp if it mean DH having too many tests and medicines. Hopefully thuo all will be ok. Still, i'm off to sort out my washin and pack my bags for home ! yay (can't be bothered with painting this week will do it after the new yr lol!)

jeddah · 20/12/2004 18:35

Thanks JB our appointment is on 25th Jan
You can tell me what to expect as yours is before mine!

I will take all my charts with me and all our fertility test results, that may save a few appointments, as you say, we will be here till dickdock if we have an appointment per test!!!!

jingleballs · 20/12/2004 18:32

well I'll certainly let u know after my app on the 11th (unless urs is first then u can tell me! ) I need to take along a morning sample, but I did ask mum about it (cos I was so stressed thinkin it would involve a lot of pokin and proding) she seems to think it will be a getting to know u stage, and learning the history etc.. and booking more tests etc.. then an app after that, thou I do hope we don't have to wait 2 months for each appoiment otherwise we'll be here till the next millenia!
