Hester i envy your relationship suppose you wouldnt have communication issues but then again i wouldnt want to be in your house when you both have af. When i was living with friends we all had af at the same time it was hell for a week i know iam a cow when af is about.

morningpaper · 22/12/2004 21:13

Hi Jeddah, I am 6 days post-ov, not feeling very lucky though, dunno why.

The first two weeks of my cycle go by in a FLASH and the last two are S-O-O -S-L-O-W.....

jingleballs · 22/12/2004 16:49

right have caught up now,

Col mum - Good luck at the DR's hopefuly you'll get something worked out between the two of you.

Tania - Do u think ur DH could really stomach it on here when we're talking abou CM etc..? Oh that was alos a nice gesture from ur mum, lol, I like her logic on the owning half of the babdy!

Hester - your take away sounds nice, perhaps the pizzz will do for tonight?

SN - (((((hugs)))))) i'm sure DH cares as well, in him own way. (most men arn't good at feelings)

Moschops - we do that as well, esp since he's been gone, lots of emails and MSN messenger, we do a weird sort of a date night as well, adn all week i'll be saying to him, I pulled on sat (or wheneva) some bloke in the car park... asked me out on sat... etc... It's a silly little thing we sometimes do anyhow, keeps things intresting! lol. (guess we're weird as well!) lol.

Rantus - Good luck on ur clomid hon, hopefully we'll be having some good news from you in january

right best tidy up b4 I go out. hope feveryone else is ok. Oh it was excellent news for bonkerz as well.

jingleballs · 22/12/2004 16:38

OI hester - watch it! lol, i'll still be here! lol, well put it this way, I need to rest sometimes! lol. I won't forget about u guys, after all u've all been brill these past few months. so a big TY to all of you.

Colinsawmommykissingsantaclaus · 22/12/2004 16:21

Tania- about your test results. about DH. I just don't tell mine I post on here for that very reason.

Thank you Twiga for the link to Bonkerz thread. Was wondering how it went.

Got a call from my Dr. yesterday. They want me to come in for a full exam due to the fact that for various reasons (moving, changing insurance, etc) my medical records for the past 10 years or so are scattered between about 6 different drs, and she only has the ones from my early pregnancy. This way she and I can see if there are any obsticles with my TTC. I think this is great, but she can't get me in until January 28th. The bad thing is no BD for 36 hours prior to the appointment, and I think based on past cycles, that will be about the best time for it. But this month was so off, maybe not.

RudyDudy · 22/12/2004 15:43

well, for at least as long as Persona gives her the 'O' sign!!! Will be very quiet around here methinks

hester · 22/12/2004 13:04

I'm SO pleased by bonkerz's news! Really hope that she has a great christmas now and finds the rest of her pregnancy less worrying

Tania - so sorry about dh feeling left out. It's tough for men, isn't it, because women are so much better at getting their emotional needs met.. Only thing I can suggest is to invite him to join us!

Brilliant news about the chlamydia, btw. Your doctor should be ashamed of himself. There was something else I wanted to say to you but I can't remember what now... Oh yes! I should be around for most of Christmas, so look forward to chatting to you then.

jedds, my takeaway was a rather exotic platter of Italian cheeses, artichokes, grilled vegetables etc. Followed by fresh fruit. Very tasty but realised that I actually needed something HOT and would have been better off with a pizza.

How much do you all reckon we'll be hearing from jb when her dh returns? My bet is that all her new mates will be Very Suddenly Dropped - for at least a week!

cockenzie · 22/12/2004 12:54

will u allbe around for xmas day? i shall keep an eye on ur posts as we are at home (family inlaw coming for dinner here)

jingleballs · 22/12/2004 12:33

Rudy - Just quick (only scanned) I'm the accountant in a company which manufactures inslin wallets for travelling with.. not too much fun, but the boss gave us all two crystal glasses today which was nice. woohooo! back to the taboo (it was on offer by the way in safeway for £5 or something...hmm!)

StNickschik · 22/12/2004 12:27

Dh keeps telling me what he thinks is really helpful/useful stuff like 'sperm can survive for up to 4/5 days - so let's get on with it now!' Well, that's all very well but maybe his aren't (that didn't go down well!!) and maybe my womb doesn't like them thanks very much or maybe I'be got my timings totally screwed up!!!!

Tania2 · 22/12/2004 12:10

Off to bed now girls may try and pop in in the morning. Will also let you know how my appointment with the gyno goes but you all will be asleep then anyway.
Sweet dreams girls
lol Tan

Tania2 · 22/12/2004 12:04

Thanks Twiga i was wondering how she was going. Have posted on that thead.

Tania2 · 22/12/2004 12:00

moschops no that sounds very normal to me. When dh and i had a break years back we basically worked out our problems via sms msg's i find that i cant get the words out i get all flusted and forget what i was on about. We are under alot of strees atm. DH has started his own business and money is running thin its very hard as we have always been worry free about money and now we just dont know how we can pay the mortage each month. Thats why my mum has offered to help with the finance of IVF. Hopeing his parents will do the same. Bless mum she just said that it means she will own the top half of the baby cause she doesnt have the stomach for shitty nappies.

Twiga · 22/12/2004 11:59

For anyone who hasn't caught up, Bonkerz scan went really well this morning see here

moschops · 22/12/2004 11:45

can i just say my dp seemed to be finding it harder to deal with than i was at first. i was more frustrated about not knowing what my body was doing. my dp told me he felt like a spare part because there was nothing he could 'do' to make it happen,(apart from the obvious ) i think sometimes men find it hard to deal with a situation that they have no physical control over.

i found myself trying to tell dp about certain stuff to do with ov and there only being so many days you could fall pregnant and on one occasion his reply was 'i know, i looked it up'.
i guess not all men are the same........Tania, i think your dh is maybe feeling really frustrated that he can't make your 'problem' just go away, but at the same time finds it hard to talk about it.....dp and i do a hell of a lot of our indepth talking by text or even e-mail. it's seems easier to get things across clearly. i can spend an hour really thinking about what i want to say and how i want to say it......and it never erupts into a row. maybe that makes us seem like an odd couple?

Tania2 · 22/12/2004 11:31

Here here stnickschick!!
My dh is still saying that and we know there is something wrong!!!

StNickschik · 22/12/2004 11:26

My dh thinks it's just going to happen in it's own good time and I should stop obsessing/stressing about it - cos it's making me grumpy!! This is a fair point but we can't just switch it off can we? Whereas I worry about why it's not happening and what if there's something wrong etc. I don't think a man ever can really understand what ttc means to a woman.
