@MOGMOGMOG85 @El1988 really hope you both get your BFPs in the next couple of days!
Ive probably said it before but I didn’t get a bfp with my first until 18dpo, and even then it was negative within the timeframe (a frer with the first wee of the day).

After being stung before I’m not symptom spotting or testing early this time - however, at 8dpo I have horrible backache and have had to rest a few times today. I have probably injured myself somehow and it’s been annoying today. Apart from that I’m as usual in the cycle - spotty, irritable and feeling cold and tired…

MOGMOGMOG85 · 23/09/2023 17:44

@MrsBP15 im so sorry youre suffering really bad cramps :( I hope you're feeling better soon.

@JustTrying1 that sucks I'm so sorry!!! I guess the only silver lining is you can try again sooner and the 2ww was short?? But yeah I hate when my period comes early:(

Cd28 today so I'm late. I guess usually af would have arrived today on average (it's a bit confusing for me as I used to be 28.5days average for decades and since my son almost 3 years ago I'm more like 26.5). Tested yesterday morning absolutely nothing but had lots of ewcm. Can't tell about that any more as we dtd last night. Cervix super low which has been happening lately just before af. Intensely hormonal, anxious and angry - this bit is not so normal at this stage for me (I usually chill out a bit just before she arrives and I don't usually get anxious at this point in my cycle). Also feel restless and a bit hyper which really reminds me of nesting with my son (which seemed to kick in early, I know it's supposed to be later).

Usually I might spot if af is due, especially after dtd.

And then there's the cramping - cramped on cd23 and CD26 then nothing.

I'm so confused by all the conflicting information. Can't wait for this to be over. Am I deluding myself that I may still have a chance after a negative test on cd27?

@El1988 if you saw something I think that's a good sign! I've done A LOT of early tests and I've only ever seen something twice when it was true, and of course I always r3ally really wanted to see something xxx

H0pefull · 23/09/2023 12:38

Fingers crossed for you @El1988 !! When are you due AF? X

SouthwestSis · 23/09/2023 12:24

Day 3 PO for me today but found myself having second thoughts about number 2 when my toddler had an absolute meltdown in a supermarket yesterday for no apparent reason. It went on for so long and I was so mortified!!
Working today so that's keeping me busy

@El1988 can you hold yourself off by buying chocolate instead of more tests?!
Keep going everyone

VixFromThe6ix · 23/09/2023 12:16

@JustTrying1 I agree with everyone's sentiment. Be kind to yourself. If this is the first proper cycle it makes sense why it's like this. Takes time to get back to normal. I hope your next cycle is more regular.

@El1988 fingers crossed for you!!! Keep us updated if you end up testing again.

So I tested this morning, like a woman possessed, and I thought I saw a very faint squinter, like if I held it in the light at the windows… I think I’m really imagining it though… my temperature is still high, and it’s more stable in than my last cycle according to my Oura ring and natural cycles… I should wait for AF to test again, but I think I will stop by a chemist later today and pick up some more tests 🙈

MrsBP15 · 23/09/2023 09:53

Thank you @VixFromThe6ix what a lovely message. You really are so kind and thoughtful and have made me feel a bit better for sure! I’m off to work this morning feeling pretty awful but looking forward to crashing later (with some chocolate 🍫) later on!

sending love your way @JustTrying1 must be so deflating for you. As others have said, be kind to yourself and feel your feelings. They will pass with time but it is always ok to not be ok ♥️ xxx

JustTrying1 · 23/09/2023 08:56

Thank you @H0pefull ❤️
I'm still stupidly think it could be implantation with today being 9DPO. Wish my brain would just shut off with the thinking!! 😂

H0pefull · 23/09/2023 08:53

SO sorry to hear that @JustTrying1 😢 that’s so deflating for you, especially being so early and unexpected. Make sure you’re kind to yourself today and let yourself feel however you’re feeling, it’s all totally valid.
sending you lots of love 🤍xx

JustTrying1 · 23/09/2023 07:30

@CurlyWurly1991 going by the tests yeh. I'm so down. But I need to sort myself out, it's technically only the first 'proper' cycle.

CurlyWurly1991 · 23/09/2023 07:28

@JustTrying1 sorry to hear that. Are you sure you ovulated then, perhaps you ovulated early?

JustTrying1 · 23/09/2023 07:28

@H0pefull keeping everything crossed for you! Even before I realised AF had arrived this morning I've decided I'm simply not going to buy anymore tests other than OPKs. I'm going to ask DH to hide the ones I've got left and only do one if I'm late.

JustTrying1 · 23/09/2023 07:15

Well I'm a grumpy arse today.

AF arrived. Mega early. 😩

H0pefull · 23/09/2023 06:22

@VixFromThe6ix definitely going to hold off now & only test if AF doesn’t arrive. I’m already finding this month tough and I think the stress of squinting at early tests will make me feel so much worse 😟 I say that now but you never know 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

VixFromThe6ix · 23/09/2023 00:07

@H0pefull sounds like you tested quite early! Fingers and toes crossed! So you figure you're going to test again in a few days or just wait for your period to arrive?

OP posts:
VixFromThe6ix · 23/09/2023 00:02

@SnookyPook fingers crossed it comes soon! I feel like pre ovulation days pass by quickly and pay ovulation days drag on and on and on.
3dpo feeling like 15dpo 😂😂

OP posts:
H0pefull · 23/09/2023 00:01

@VixFromThe6ix I’m not 100% sure what DPO I am as I’ve stayed clear of OPKs this month and just tried DTD every other day to try and take some of the pressure off 🤞🏻 AF is due on Thursday though so just going to wait and see. Luckily I’m so busy between now and then so hopefully it will be a good distraction.
@JustTrying1 I’ve been aggressively hungry today and exhausted, I had a 2 hour nap this afternoon!!both of those are SO unlike me, especially the long nap 🤔
how are you feeling? X

VixFromThe6ix · 22/09/2023 23:57

@MrsBP15 so sorry to hear about your cramps :((( I'll not sure if you have kids or if you're trying for your first, but I had just the worst cramps too. I'd take sick days and take upwards of 8 extra strength advils just to be able to get up from bed. I sympathize so much with you and just wanna give you a hug and a heating pad and chocolates. Thinking back to it I still shrug at how painful it was. Reason I asked about kids is because my cramps are so light now after my son. I hope your private clinic appointment sheds more light on your condition. Feel better

SnookyPook · 22/09/2023 23:33

Ah thanks for th new thread @VixFromThe6ix !

Plodding on here... CD11 if counting from first day of bleed from CP. I think may be beginning to gear up for ovulation 🤞🏻

MrsBP15 · 22/09/2023 22:31

Thank you @VixFromThe6ix and hello again everyone 👋🏻

I am currently lying in bed with the worst period cramps praying it won’t be bad tomorrow as I have to go to work 😫

Booking in privately to see about endometriosis investigations…

VixFromThe6ix · 22/09/2023 21:22

@JustTrying1 you're right! I need it to leave so I can test around 10dpo and not be confused by false positives. Last cycle was so confusing. I really wish the nurses would have told me not to test early. I had to do my own research to find out the trigger shot has HCG. I thought I had a chemical last month.
Crossing my fingers for you for tomorrow!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

JustTrying1 · 22/09/2023 20:58

Sorry @VixFromThe6ix we must have responded at the same time so don't repeat what you've already said 😂

It's good isn't it that the HCG is leaving now, because it's not giving you false positives - that's right isn't it? (Sorry if I've misunderstood that).

JustTrying1 · 22/09/2023 20:55

@H0pefull to be honest TTC has been the furthest thing from my mind today with work being so stressful... I don't know if that is a good thing tbh 😂 Sorry for your bfn but like you say it is early 🤞🥰 How do you feel in yourself? Managing to not symptom spot? I'll probably tests tomorrow tbh just because I'm away until Tuesday 😂

@VixFromThe6ix thank you for the new thread! ❤️ how are you feeling?

@MOGMOGMOG85 this thread is group / thread is made up of a bunch of amazing people!

VixFromThe6ix · 22/09/2023 20:50

@H0pefull sorry to hear about your test results.... please remind me what do are you?

OP posts:
VixFromThe6ix · 22/09/2023 20:47

@MOGMOGMOG85 if I catch it in time, I will try to create a thread before this one finishes. I'm usually finding out when reading the missed posts and see it's at 1000. I just wish there was an easier way to tag everyone and not have to individually copy and paste each username on a note app on my phone lol
Hope your husband's swimmers will get top rating! It's good that you're testing because even though everyone always thinks if there is an issue it's from a woman's side but obviously look at my case, I'm doing pretty darn good for 40 and my 35yr old hubby is going through some hormone issues. His swimmers were rated as "poor-fair" during my last IUI session.
I tested again today for HCG and the line seems to be going a bit lighter so that means it's slowly leaving my body.
You're right this tww feels like the longest one yet and I keep checking my calendar wondering how am I just 3dpo?? Lol
Either way....it's Friday. I'm happy about that. Working and taking care of my 20mos old is proving to become increasingly more difficult and I feel totally wiped. He's entering the tantrums phase and I'm already over it.
Retail therapy has been on an increase lately. Stress = shopping. Bad, bad me.
