@RoseH36 sending you an enormous hug and hope you're ok and that you manage to find peace and happiness in your decision. ❤️

RoseH36 · 14/10/2023 08:26

I want to wish you all the luck in the world on your journeys but I think I'm done. I have a beautiful son and I'm so grateful for him but think it's time to call it a day and accept he'll be an only child. Due to low sex drive we've only been trying once a month so think it's safe to say there's pretty much zero hope (even though we only dtd once and conceived our son). I'm fed up of putting myself through all the testing and disappointment every month. It's going to take a while for me to come to terms with this decision but feel like it's one I have to make as it's not fair to keep putting this pressure on my DH every month.

Thank you to each and every one of you for your support during my CP, it meant so much ❤️

CurlyWurly1991 · 14/10/2023 08:08

@MixedCouple I saw my GP and she said it was likely just a matter of time and was reassuring. Ordered day 3 and day 21 tests that included PCOS related tests as I have irregular periods, lh,fsh, estradiol, and then progesterone will be on day 21 (or 7 days after ovulation).

FigandHoney · 14/10/2023 08:02

My bbt has popped up again a but today. But not as high as it was before it took a massive drop. Just going to need to wait and see what happens

FigandHoney · 14/10/2023 08:02

@Supertrooper101 Your chart looks good. Clear temperature rise indicating a biphasic chart, so confirming ovulation.
In terms of your question of the evenness. I don't know if it's a thing. But I certainly noticed mine became less jaggy last time after taking care of myself and taking vitamins. But it can also just mean that you are hood at taking you bbt at the same time each day and without moving

MixedCouple · 13/10/2023 23:10

For those who have had an initial apt with GP for tests. How does the apt go?
I will be calling on Monday for me and OH to start getting checked out.

MixedCouple · 13/10/2023 23:07

Evening ladies just tryna catch up.
Had the worst PMS today manic feeling, tearful I sobbed for 2 hours while LO napped - so productive. Now 12DPO BFN on a test not even a hint of a line. My temps are staying high...... But oh well I guess that can all change in 1 day.

Yes I also have the CM which is slightly yellow amd snotty like before AF - wonderful. 😂

Hope everyone has a good weekend.

El1988 · 13/10/2023 22:59

@Supertrooper101 i would say the chart looks good! I’m no expert, so I can’t read anything into the finer details, but it looks like a nice clear temp rise in the second half? How long is your luteal phase usually? And your cycle generally?

@MrsBP15 im sorry to hear AF is on the way, enjoy the few drinks and sending a hug ❤️

MrsBP15 · 13/10/2023 20:43

Tiny bit of spotting so period is on the way. Looks like I’ll be having a few drinks this weekend then 🥂🍸🍹🍷😫

CurlyWurly1991 · 13/10/2023 20:26

@FigandHoney could be a good sign, could be meaningless 🤷🏼‍♀️ I get CM like that prior to my period sometimes. Hope it’s good news for you though !

FigandHoney · 13/10/2023 16:26

Argh. Someone shut up my mind please. As I approach AF all my cool dissapears. And I become crazy obssessive.
Just had a massive glob of snot like cm. Slightly yellow

Agree, also consider that for every supplement you take you are giving your liver an extra burden to process and detoxify what isn’t needed. Good liver health is really important for hormone balance. As we are often given basic nhs blood tests without any follow up interpretation (or it’s a GP who, while trying their best, is not a specialist in fertility/hormones). I’ve learned a lot from alternative medicine practitioners - a naturopath previously and currently a herbalist. They focus on the root cause rather than symptoms.

You have to really follow up with Gp 4 blood test follow up

Hertility health = very worthwhile on hormone front

Ill second about be carefull what you supplement with too. My b12 is over a 1000. Thats from proceive max (sachets) and b complex each day. I eat alot of eggs so getting it from them too. I was taking extra folate...my levels above the range bracket.... so stopping that too. Vitamin in large stores can lower testosterone aparently.... my vitd is 136 which is high, my testosterone is low 🤦‍♀️ yet estrodial fsh etc are fine. So 🤷‍♀️... had corsitol done too. My days. They didnt tell me that that changes per hour lmao so that was hard to find out if normal or not! Gona go basic now. Multivitamin, coq10 omega 3 and dhea. Proceive max for 50quid..... am not doing it anymore. As you see above, the levels for egg quality are crap. And amino acids i have protein shakes so that covers that. Thats my rant done. Gave myself a headache with google haha 8dpo... and feeling like...what bloody ever haha

Wish i could get my b12 up
It sits at 300 .
Tablets / supplements make no difference.

Just keep having scrambled egg & jacket potatoes etc

Supertrooper101 · 13/10/2023 14:31

@CurlyWurly1991 i wish modern medcine was like that. Finding the root cause and treating it natrually....but hay, far too time consuming and not enough money made by western medcine for that lol gona speak to my acupuncturist. Athough she is very chinese so hard to understand... just keeps offering me her herbs whih am guessing is for yin and yang haha.. does make me chuckle all that but i do beleve in it... do you have any ideas on my bbt chart i posted. Is it normal lol @Cressie2 @CurlyWurly1991 @El1988 @FigandHoney .....sorry, just tagged the popular namew lol

@Supertrooper101 i agree re checking bloods before supplementing, especially any fat soluble vitamins and minerals - my b12 was also nearly 1000 from proceive max… and some supplements can be dangerous at high levels…

Supertrooper101 · 13/10/2023 13:00

vitamin D in large stores

My days bloods and bbt do my head in 🤣.... if your bbt chart is somewhat steady, does that mean your hormones are quite balanced? Not a full mths worth but you get the gist lol

@CurlyWurly1991 CP……?? 😐 I think as I haven’t really been actively trying for that long I will see how I go but good to have this knowledge behind me as I have always felt that I won’t conceive easily! I don’t know why…..

FigandHoney · 13/10/2023 11:39

@CurlyWurly1991 Yeah. My rhr usually correlates quite well with my bbt. But today my RHR is still high and my bbt has dropped.
But I really need to stop myself from obsessively scrutinizing my chart

CurlyWurly1991 · 13/10/2023 11:34

@happytobemrsg sorry to hear that. Give it a couple of days and test again?

@MrsBP15 @El1988 my understanding too was that it is possible to take too much vitamin d and therefore it’s important to get a test before supplementing especially at high doses.

@FigandHoney oh no, I know that feeling well. Even more teasing for me as I don’t usually get a temp drop until after AF shows. For that reason I’ve stopped temping once Ov is confirmed. I have a Fitbit with RhR that I can use to keep a rough eye on it as it seems to correlate pretty well with my temperatures.

@Firsttime0727 welcome to the dark side 😆 honestly you will get into the swing soon. I got very into it for a couple of months, found it got a bit overwhelming, and pulled back and just use them where I really need to. Mainly go off Cm and Cp as the most indicative signs of fertility. While trying to dtd every 3 days regardless… it does get a bit much at times particularly once you have been trying a while.

happytobemrsg · 13/10/2023 09:57

9DPO & I stupidly tested. Of course it’s a BFN. I also flooded the stick. So annoyed with myself as I am now convinced I’m not pregnant.

Firsttime0727 · 13/10/2023 09:54

@MrsBP15 u know who knew! So am I right in thinking if my temp goes up, I’ve ovulated??

El1988 · 13/10/2023 09:50

@MrsBP15 i would get your levels checked before you go supplementing, if you can. You can technically take too much vitamin d as it’s a fat soluble vitamin, but I’ve heard it’s very very rare. But again, I’m not a doctor.

@Firsttime0727 welcome! Yeah the world of temping was a total revelation to me! I was like what do you never my temperature goes up for the second half of my cycle! 🙈😅
