Very very lucky to conceive DS1 first time.
AF arrived today so will be going into 5th month of trying.
Feeling a bit emotional today but trying to stay hopeful 💜
Love & hugs to all those on their TTC journey x

@Swirls346 It's so hard isn't it! Even more so in the run up to Christmas. I was pregnant once before and had absolutely no clue and no symptoms so try not to hold much weight to them either. Hopefully get your Christmas BFP!

It is very hard this time of year. Luckily I have my beautiful son who is nearly 2. So I am lucky. But we struggled to conceive him and needed ivf so ttc just brings back so many horrible feelings of despair.
Lots of pregnancy announcements this time of year too which doesn't help.
Praying you get your BFP this month 🙏🙏

Millie1501 · 06/12/2023 14:49

Hey guys, I am on cycle 6 ttc baby number 2. I am currently a few days after ovulation so on the frustrating tww. Hopefully we get our positives soon 🤞. What a great Xmas present that would be. Saying that if I don’t get pregnant this month I’m going to have wine over Xmas and eat things you can’t while pregnant. I feel when I enjoy things I can’t have while pregnant when af arrives it cheers me up a bit. Almost like I’m making the best of a bad situation if that makes sense. Let’s all keep each other posted 😊.

@jellyfish2210 oh no! Hopefully they can sort out the thyroid issue, I've got an app next week for mine, as mine is too low. Hopefully can get some medication and fix it too. Was it easily diagnosed?

Swirls346 · 06/12/2023 13:21

@riverlodge90 still not pregnant and 4dpo on this cycle now. Im trying not to symptom spot as I don't hold out much hope. How are you? D

jellyfish2210 · 06/12/2023 12:50

Trying for #2 on cycle 11. Waiting on a fertility appointment as I'm 35 and have also been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. Hoping that once that's balanced out then we will get pregnant!

riverlodge90 · 06/12/2023 12:50

@TTCnumber1x Awh no, it's so depressing at the start of a new cycle. Have to force being hopeful. Glad the sperm testing result was good! Was your other half okay with it?

TTCnumber1x · 06/12/2023 11:42

@riverlodge90 just started cycle 11 for us, 9 months after our miscarriage 😩 OH had a sperm analysis done and it was all normal so just a waiting game

@Gem0302 @Millie1501 @Swirls346 @Angelselevenx @mariannaf @MissEmily5 @CatmumTTC

Just wondering how everyone is getting on?
I've just started so onto cycle 8 😓

Gem0302 · 01/11/2023 13:15

Just came across your thread 😊 I’m also TTC baby number 2. Currently on cycle 3 of trying but I’m CD28 / 14dpo and had negative tests for the last 6 days. So mentally preparing for my period and onto the next cycle.

I’ve found the last few months to be really exhausting and I can’t help but obsess over anything and everything TTC. Seeing negative test after negative test is really triggering so I think I’m going to avoid testing next month 🤥

Millie1501 · 01/11/2023 11:56

@riverlodge90 Yes your next fertile week is around the corner. I always find it a relief when af arrives because at least then I know. I usually eat or drink something during my period that I won’t be able to when pregnant to cheer myself up lol. It’s highly likely you’ll get pregnant within a year of trying so should be soon for you 🤞.

riverlodge90 · 01/11/2023 11:07

@Millie1501 Thanks Millie! It's these final days of the cycle I find hard. Once onto CD1 I'm full of optimism again.
Hopefully we will all strike lucky soon!

Millie1501 · 01/11/2023 08:55

@riverlodge90 I am sorry to hear that. You’re not out though until af arrives so you never know 🤞. I do know loads of people to take a while to conceive but it randomly happens one month so hang in there.

@Swirls346 It is funny you say that, we’ve just had a bad night. My wee guy sleeps ok but not when he teething, he struggles with teething. And they teeth a lot I find, he’s got his last 4 molars coming through but they are taking ages. I have definitely had moments where I have worried about handling another but I just keep telling myself this stage is short. The benefit of the age gap being bigger than I would have initially liked is that hopefully my first will be over the teething/ night wakings when the next one arrives 🤞.

riverlodge90 · 01/11/2023 07:31

Hey can I join? Tested negative today and due on my period tomorrow so I'm out this month. Onto month 7 TTC no1😓

Swirls346 · 31/10/2023 06:01

Hopefully it won't be too long @Millie1501 it can take up to a year so it's still early yet.
I sometimes wonder how I'd cope with another child to be honest. I have the worlds worst sleeper and going through it all again puts a lot of fear into me

Millie1501 · 30/10/2023 22:09

@Swirls346 I was very lucky with my first, it took 1 month. I’ll admit I expected trying for my second to be quick because of this but it’s proving to be very different this time. I’m halfway through my cycle this month so it’s fertile week.

Swirls346 · 30/10/2023 19:03

@Millie1501 did it take you long to conceive your first ? What stage in the cycle are you?
My little one is a similar age! He's 22 months and 2 the end of December x

Millie1501 · 30/10/2023 18:49

@Swirls346 My first is 21 months, I really don’t want the gap to be big so really hoping to conceive soon. We are giving it a good go this month lol. Oh looks like ovulation is very soon for you. How old is your first?

Swirls346 · 30/10/2023 17:12

@Millie1501 thank you ! It was difficult to "try" for our first as I wasn't ovulating and having very long cycles (up to 4 months!). There is a male factor issue too but just hoping it happens naturally this time. How old is your first child?
So I'm cycle day 18 and ovulating either today or tomorrow according to ovulation sticks. I've been tracking since July properly.

TTC # 2 month 5…….
Millie1501 · 30/10/2023 16:15

@Swirls346 So sorry to hear about your chemical. Also conceiving your first sounds like it was a tough journey. Hopefully things will be easier this time around for you. I have heard of people who conceive quicker with their second compared to the first so you never know 🤞. What stage are you at on this cycle? Already dreading to 2ww myself haha.

Swirls346 · 30/10/2023 13:33

Month 6th of ttc baby number 2. Our first was ivf after 18 months trying. Hoping it happens naturally this time, had a chemical last cycle. Baby dust to everyone 🌟

Millie1501 · 30/10/2023 13:31

I think I’m ovulating or very close to ovulating (based on my symptoms and the app I use to track my cycle). I am really hoping for a positive this month 🤞👶

Angelselevenx · 29/10/2023 20:53

@Kate3150 aww I know, you just never know what could happen that's the hardest part I think.

@Millie1501 thanks lovely, where are you in your cycle? It really is! I'm 6dpo now and track BBT so I'm constantly bloody watching that but we will see.

Millie1501 · 29/10/2023 19:01

@Angelselevenx sorry to hear about your chemical. I have my fingers crossed this is your month. It’s so hard isn’t it, so impossible not to symptom spot, I’ll be doing the same in a week.

Millie1501 · 29/10/2023 18:51

@Kate3150 awww I’m sorry you are out this month. It just starts to feel like it will never happen doesn’t it but I know plenty of people who just take a bit longer and everything is fine. I hate that the gap keeps getting bigger also. I wanted the gap to be about 2 years but now will be happy with less than 3 years lol.

I am on cd 12 and I’m cramping so think ovulation will be soon 🤞. We started dtd on cd 7 and will continue every 48 hours until cd 20. I did use ovulation tests in previous months but they were expensive and stressed me out more. So I figure every 48 hours should cover it lol. I really hope we all get our positives soon 🤞.
