Hi 🙋‍♀️, just as the title says, I am now on cd1 of my first cycle after a loss at 11+4 (stopped growing just after a scan showing strong heartbeat at 8 -9w)

Feeling nervous but positive about a new cycle ...but finding it hard to think of anything else other than ttc 🙂

Happy for some company to obsess with over these next weeks x

@Aaliyahrae that’s reassuring to know about line progression. After reading that I’m going to test with a digital and then stop testing as it’s only something else to worry about. Sorry to hear you’ve been so unwell but fab news about the scan and being 9 weeks 💕.

@SnookyPook glad you’re feeling reassured by this mornings test. I can definitely see the difference 🥰. I agree, everything is in motion now and poas won’t affect the outcome. Hope you’re feeling ok.

SnookyPook · 02/12/2023 10:14

@Aaliyahrae meant to say, wonderful news about your scan! So glad it's all progressing well 💕

SnookyPook · 02/12/2023 10:10

@Aaliyahrae ah thank you and that's definitely lovely to hear. Also, I know what you're saying about testing, however after my CP and then the low/erratic HCG last time I was curious just to do a test 48hrs later and... I'm pretty sure that this is looking how it should. Still a very long way off feeling confident about this but I'm trying to take it day by day, and today, things are looking hopeful. Here is this morning's test, and a comparison to Thursday mornings. 🙏🏼🌈 Now going to try and back off obsessing and leave it to the gods. Everything is already in motion regardless isn't it 💕

Lovely to see some more BFPs! Keep us posted! And let’s keep them coming 😉

And thanks for sharing that moment of encouragement @Aaliyahrae - it’s powerful to think of the stories everyone carries, the fear and the hope. I’m sorry you’ve been so horribly unwell though. Glad you’ve had good care and hoping it passes for you soon.

Aaliyahrae · 02/12/2023 08:58

How is everyone else getting on? Who is in their TWW? How are our pregnant girls getting on? Anyone starting a fresh cycle?

Sorry I’ve been so quiet, I was admitted to hospital for IV/anti sickness because of how sick I’ve been. Finally registered the pregnancy too and have my booking appt next week. I’m 9 weeks now, desperately counting down to the 2nd trimester where I can (hopefully) stop feeling sick like this! Had a scan and baby was happy - crazy the growth difference between 6 weeks and 8.5.

But a little bit of positivity, while sitting waiting for my scan, I got speaking to some other mums and there wasn’t one person I spoke to who hadn’t had a miscarriage before. We were all speaking about when ours were and how scary it was being pregnant after and how long it took to conceive after. And I was looking at how big their bumps were (all way further along than me) thinking okay so it does happen, people do have miscarriages and then have successful pregnancies! Not sure if this will help anyone pregnant or TTC but it made me feel a little more hopeful knowing that.

Aaliyahrae · 02/12/2023 08:53

Congratulations @SnookyPook @graceinc22 and @Gem0302 💗 how exciting! I definitely agree about taking it day by day and trying to be as positive as you can (which I totally understand is so difficult!).

@graceinc22 try not to continue testing if you can! When I first tested on here, I had the shock of my life with a really really dark line. I tested again a couple days later and it was a lot lighter so I was so worried but EPU said line progression doesn’t actually mean that much and once you’ve got your positive, you’ve got your positive. Got everything crossed for you x

Gem0302 · 02/12/2023 07:24

My test this morning. Maybe slightly darker than yesterday 🤷🏼‍♀️. I spent ages this morning debating if to use the digital I’ve had saved for a while. I did and it didn’t work! Started to test then just went blank 😔

@Ladyinpink1 thank you 🥰. Not testing has definitely been better for me. As soon as I got the first wee of the day done I knew it wasn’t worth testing. The only reason I caved yesterday is because my bbt rose 0.4 and stayed high for 2 days, couldn’t stop thinking if it could mean something. I have no symptoms at all. Literally nothing!! It was the same with my son and my mc. How are you doing?

Gem0302 · 02/12/2023 07:18

@graceinc22 they are clear positives to me. It’s tricky not getting obsessive with darkness of lines isn’t it. I used two different brands yesterday which both claim to be early detection and the lines were very different on both. I’m sure hcg doubles every 48 hours so tomorrows test would probably be a better indicator for us both.

ThelastRolo20 · 02/12/2023 07:17

@graceinc22 definitely still clear positives and lots of things can influence how dark the line is which is why they say not to do it too frequently 😊 try and hold off for a couple of days if you can!

graceinc22 · 02/12/2023 07:08

I’m hoping I’m actually 13dpo (my positive opk was the Saturday before last) and that tests can darker tomorrow. Though I know darkness doesn’t always exactly correlate to hcg

graceinc22 · 02/12/2023 07:04

Thee are my lines this morning (didn’t sleep well and so went to loo at 3am as well as 6am - tested the second time)

not as dark as I’d like but but clear positives???

@Gem0302 congratulations! 🎈🎉 That is a great line, especially for it not being fmu, and well done on waiting. Encouraging you still got your bfp with not being well, I'm clinging to that hope with being sick too this cycle. How are you feeling? x

@Bali200 I normally test from 8dpo as that's when I got my (faint) bfp with the last 2 pregnancies but then when it's negative, I torture myself testing for the next 4 or 5 days until af so I thought even if I could wait until at least 10dpo (or later) then when I test it will be a definite either way if that makes sense lol. How are you doing? x

@Gem0302 congratulations lovely!!! And I 100% resonate with trying to be optimistic whilst also not getting carried away! 🙏🏼🌈💕

Gem0302 · 01/12/2023 23:29

Thank you everyone for your kind words 🫶🏼. I’m trying my hardest to be optimistic whilst also not getting carried away.

I’ve got everything crossed that there will be many more bfp’s on this thread soon xx

Wise0wl · 01/12/2023 23:08

Oh wow, what an afternoon!

Congratulations @graceinc22 & @Gem0302! and I’m glad my lovely DH’s words about TTC in hope not fear have helped a bit @Gem0302 ♥️

@Haylsttc I also used the clear blue advanced ovulation tests and found them really clear, I have everything crossed for you 🤞

Ah @Bali200 so close! Please keep me posted. I have a real fear of things going wrong between scans and reckon I’d be there daily if the EPU would have me. Trying to not think too much about it and hope for the best. How are you feeling?

Bugdem123 · 01/12/2023 22:50

@Gem0302 congratulations!

How lovely seeing all the BFPs, it's giving me so much hope x

CluelessInLondon · 01/12/2023 22:30

@Gem0302 Amazing, congratulations and I hope this is a sticky one for you!

So many BFPs on this thread, I hope you've all left some baby dust for the rest of us. 😅

Rainbowpeanut02 · 01/12/2023 22:13

@Gem0302 congratulations! The line is so clear! 🎉🫶🏻

@graceinc22 congratulations!! Keep positive and the line is also super clear!! ❤️🫶🏻🎉

Fingers crossed for me BFP’s!!! 🫶🏻❤️🙏🏻

graceinc22 · 01/12/2023 22:11

@Gem0302 congratulations ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Rainbowpeanut02 · 01/12/2023 22:05

Awwww congratulations @SnookyPook , that’s lovely news!!! I hope everything goes smoothly for you!! ❤️🫶🏻🎉

Bali200 · 01/12/2023 21:30

Wow @Gem0302 congratulations! And all those feelings you are feeling are so valid. One thing I keep telling myself is that worrying about it isn’t going to make a difference to the outcome, and taking it day by day is all we can do x

I love how many BFP’s are appearing on the thread 🫶🏼💗

ThelastRolo20 · 01/12/2023 21:28

@Gem0302 that's a wonderful line 😍😍 absolutely loving how many BFPs we're getting!! Congratulations 🎉 x

Gem0302 · 01/12/2023 21:03

11dpo here and I have held off testing for the first time ever. Normally I’m a serial tester from about 8dpo. This cycle has been a really rough one: a 3 week cold I couldn’t shift, delayed ovulation, a uti and antibiotics and a lot of stress at work. And you guessed it. Will test again tomorrow with fmu. Feeling super anxious, happy, scared and excited all at once.

Loved the post earlier about going into ttc with hope and not fear, keep telling myself this over and over today.

Gem0302 · 01/12/2023 20:53

@graceinc22 congratulations! That’s a great line 🥰

Bugdem123 · 01/12/2023 20:36

@Haylsttc I did another digital at around 6 and it was peak. You might be right that it depends how quick your surge is. The line OPK looks positive to me but Premom is saying 0.71 so we'll see what it is in the morning.

@ThelastRolo20 So glad we managed to do it today and hoping we can manage a quickie tomorrow before everyone is up. Really does feel like we're dating again haha.

Trying not question why it's so early this cycle, it's normally day 14/15 before I get a surge and it's 11DPO today so really early but I'm just going to go with it and see what happens.

@graceinc22 congratulations!! That looks like a lovely line to me. Looking forward to seeing tomorrow morning's!
