Cd1 of ttc first cycle after loss... anyone want to join me? 🙂

Hi 🙋‍♀️, just as the title says, I am now on cd1 of my first cycle after a loss at 11+4 (stopped growing just after a scan showing strong heartbeat at 8 -9w)

Feeling nervous but positive about a new cycle ...but finding it hard to think of anything else other than ttc 🙂

Happy for some company to obsess with over these next weeks x

@Ladyinpink1 I have no clue because I’m not tracking but I came off my period around 2 weeks ago I think! Where are you? Are you currently in your TWW?

@Ladyinpink1 fingers crossed! Didn't sleep well last night so I'm feeling pretty exhausted today. Maybe our ovulations won't be too far apart 😊 are you trying for your first baby? This will be our second but as I'm 34 and husband is 38 I'm trying to get a move on haha

I'm glad things have calmed down @ThelastRolo20 hopefully not be too long to wait until ovulation, I seen someone mention could be 2 weeks, hope it flies in x

Yay for almost ovulation @Liz2681 and I will help and obsess your symptoms along with you to keep me busy until it's my ovulation time 🙂 x

Yes @Haylsttc the tww does always feel soon slow you are right... that is good, I hope you get sorted with it x

Hey ladies, I’ve stepped off the thread for a bit because TTC was turning me crazy and it was literally all I could think about. Decided to give it a couple of months break to just get myself back again. Congratulations to all the positives! I’ll keep an eye out for the rest of you! Fingers crossed we get some more! xxx

@Haylsttc thank you, that's so lovely. I feel deflated today and have logged on to stop the work piling up - hoping it serves as a distraction. I just hope there's no complications and I can move. I'm quite impatient though so the next few weeks are going to be tough 😂

How are you? What stage are you at with TTC? X

@Oxalis00 i’m sorry to hear AF arrived for you, it’s so hard when you have a date set in your mind of when you hope it will happen by or want to be past your first trimester. I really struggle with this too!

@Ladyinpink1 sorry to hear you’re cycle day one! Ovulation will creep up in no time though, I feel like the first half of the cycle
always goes quicker! The EPU is a good idea thank you, I might as well give them a try 😊

@Liz2681 i’m cycle day 10 today so not far behind you, I’m going to start opks tomorrow
. Sounds like you will get your solid smiley soon! Then onto the dreaded two week wait 😅

@Ladyinpink1 so glad to hear you're feeling good about this cycle. I felt quite a bit of relief on CD1 as well - felt kind of nice not to have to obsess over TWW and start afresh. I'm on CD12 and am getting flashing smileys on my CB tests so hoping I'll ovulate in a few days, and then the obsession starts all over again 😆 x

So sorry @Oxalis00 it's so hard when you really believe it might happen and then it doesn't. But as you say, on we go ❤️ x

@SnookyPook really hope it all goes well on Thursday. It might feel like ages away but it sounds like your GP is all over it so keeping fingers crossed it's all well in the end 🤞🏼 x

@ThelastRolo20 great to hear that little bit of good news in what must be such a hard situation. I feel like if peeing on sticks was an Olympic sport we'd all have medals at this point 😆 x

Thank you @Ladyinpink1 it was a rough afternoon but I think I have now passed most of the tissue. Pain and cramps have calmed down a lot so will have to see how tonight goes, fingers crossed it turns into a more normal period x

@ThelastRolo20 Are you OK? I know It's good to pass naturally and I'm glad for you for that, but also know that it can be difficult physically when you are a little further on. x

@Oxalis00 sorry to hear the update, it's always so disappointing xx @Ladyinpink1 I actually ended up naturally miscarrying today so upside is I hopefully won't need medical intervention and today is officially cycle day 1 which mentally really helps.

I'm going to do regular (cheap) tests to hopefully see the HCG levels go down, whilst doing OPKs to try and catch ovulation 😂 good thing I love peeing on a stick!

@ThelastRolo20 Aw lovely, that's a nice doggy name 😊 I think this is cd1 for me today, feeling good about a new fresh cycle. I read the other comments, that will be great if ovulation is 2 weeks after for you... not too long to wait! In fact, you could be fertile the same time as me 🙂 x

@Haylsttc could you try your epu? And tell them how worried you are etc, and ask if they would prescribe it? x

Hi cycle buddie! @Oxalis00 Yes I had tested and I was really disappointed but I started my period today so that's good but then it means my L Phase was shorter than normal! Tmi but It's very light and pink so I'm hoping it gets heavier by tomorrow.. better than last cycle though as I spotted really lightly before it started. Feeling like this cycle I'm going to give it my all and hope for success! Read your post that you are spotting, i'm sorry to hear that 😞. It's so disappointing isn't it. Amd I really want to be pregnant before the end of the year too (preferably securely also) x

Hmm, started spotting today so it’s looking like I’m out (at CD28, 11DPO). I’m sad and stupidly a bit surprised as I’d worked myself into believing it was happening, and if I’m honest I really wanted to be (securely) pregnant before Christmas with pregnant SIL. But I go on…! Looking forward to more updates from others.

Thanks everyone. So, still in limbo here. GP is repeating HCG blood test for me but not until Thursday. The Women's Health Unit (our local version of EPAU) has offered to scan me when I get to 6 weeks (a week today)... So if I make it that far, hopefully I'll have a clearer idea of how things are.... It's all feeling completely surreal now really but I actually feel ok. Will just have to see how it goes.

The clear blue was today which is 13/14dpo, but I really don't know when I ovulated this month, just didn't want anyone to be disappointed if they test early and don't get a line straight away

@ThelastRolo20 so sorry you've found yourself, it's absolutely awful 😞 the lovely ladies in this group tho are a great source of information and comfort though so it's a good place to vocalise anything you're feeling and are comfortable sharing x

@Oxalis00 I left it hours before I took the photo 🤣 Last time I got a faint line on the same test at 14dpo so maybe I ovulated sooner than I thought this cycle, my cycle was all over the place so I have no idea when it happened!

Thanks for photos @wyto - that’s very definitely there at 11DPO, I wouldn’t say super faint. I can see why you’d not necessarily dare to believe it though! Really happy for you :)

@Oxalis00 Thank you, yeah first baby, second trying cycle since MMC in July. I'm terrible for waiting to test, it was super faint and to be honest I waited aaages and kept looking and then I didn't trust it!

That’s wonderful @wyto - congratulations! Your TTC DC1 aren’t you? I really hope this sticks for you. Very exciting. Feeling calm is incredible! Keep us posted :) I see above you tested 11DPO - don’t tempt me…! 😝

Thanks for all the well wishes, did a clear blue this morning and definitely positive for now! I feel completely completely different to last time, and oddly calm, which is not an emotion I feel very often!
