Hi 🙋‍♀️, just as the title says, I am now on cd1 of my first cycle after a loss at 11+4 (stopped growing just after a scan showing strong heartbeat at 8 -9w)

Feeling nervous but positive about a new cycle ...but finding it hard to think of anything else other than ttc 🙂

Happy for some company to obsess with over these next weeks x

@moosey89 sending lots of love and understanding... Reading through the thread currently losing my third pregnancy this year 😌 should have been 7 weeks on Tuesday. I'm also planning a bit of a break over Christmas and hopefully come at things fresh in the New Year - hoping my fertility referral will come through quickly as think I'd like to see the consultant before potentially falling pregnant again...

Big congratulations to the recent BFPs - such wonderful news to see on the thread, and a reminder that there is hope for us all 💕

moosey89 · 02/11/2023 21:39

You guys are all the best thank you 🙏🥹 hope you all get the good news we're all praying for. See you in a month or so x

Ladyinpink1 · 02/11/2023 18:58

I'm sorry @moosey89 💜
It is hard to see a bfp that isn't your own when you want it so much and have waited so long. After my first loss at the end of last year, I was certain that I would get pregnant right away, but it didn't happen until the 5th cycle and although that doesnt sound long, it was so hard and felt like the longest wait, I understand, you aren't alone.
Sending a big hug and we are all here whenever you are ready xx

@moosey89 completely understand how you feel I was feeling the same way previous months, please take the time you need offline to protect yourself ❤️ I’m currently on cycle 4 trying again since my MMC so a month ahead of you and @Gem0302 as my AF due next week so nearing to cycle 5 if this isn’t successful! It is painful knowing it hasn’t happened again straight away for us as I had wished x

Gem0302 · 02/11/2023 15:05

@moosey89 I’m the same as you, waiting for cycle 4 to start. Im also struggling with negative thoughts and how all consuming TTC is. Look after yourself x

Wise0wl · 02/11/2023 14:48

So sorry @moosey89 - I’ve been there and totally know how you feel. Please look after yourself and we are all here if you need us x

moosey89 · 02/11/2023 14:34

No good news for me, spotting here the day before my period starts which is the usual way things go.

Congrats to those with BFPs. I think I might need to step away from all social media and forums this month, I'm struggling with seeing other people getting good news when I don't seem to be able to (I'm happy for others but so so sad for myself). On to month 4 post the most recent loss.

Ladyinpink1 · 02/11/2023 14:33

@Oxalis00 You are in the exact same boat as me!
We dtd lots leading up to ovulation... skipped the ovulation day as we were too tired (oldest dc not well and so sleep not been great) then I felt anxious about that so we dtd the next night and i made sure to keep my legs up 🤣. I then googled "average life span of sperm in fertile cm" and the odds were very good so I feel good about it now. Lol. So if you can manage to dtd tonight then I think you will be well covered. 🙂 x

Saturday isn't far away now for testing @Wise0wl exciting! x

You are definitely pregnant @Aaliyahrae congratulations 💝🎊🎉 what a lovely surprise when you were so sure this wasn't your month. I am really pleased for you and hope you and @Bali200 will keep in touch every so often with how you both are getting on. Hoping you guys have started a roll of bfp on the thread 🙂 xxx

@Aaliyahrae ah amazing what a dark line, congratulations ❤️

@Oxalis00 I totally second this feeling as I ovulated late this cycle we didn’t manage ovulation day or even peak day! But you never know it only takes once and we only dtd twice in fertile week when I first fell pregnant 😊 Not sure how close to ovulation it was cos I wasn’t tracking I just tried to work it out on Flo when I got my bfp at the time!

@Wise0wl that sounds positive that you haven’t seen any spotting, I would definitely do a test in the next day or two 🤞@Liz2681 same goes for you too! Would be amazing to see even more positive tests in this thread this month!

I’m cycle day 26 and only 5dpo which is mad cos I got AF cycle day 26 last month 😂 But since I ovulated cycle day 21 this month my AF isn’t due until Tuesday next week! Not holding out much hope though as I’ve been so unwell in the luteal phase so far I’d be shocked if I get a bfp.

Oxalis00 · 02/11/2023 10:02

Thanks so much everyone, really appreciate hearing that others have similar thoughts. It can be so consuming. I worry a lot about what’s going on inside, inc. what the MC means for future fertility and whether the surgery left any scarring or anything. Not knowing what the future will hold is hard! But I’m glad to share some of that journey with all of you. Very hopeful for more good news on here over the coming days/weeks 🤞🏼

Bali200 · 02/11/2023 09:09

@Oxalis00 try not to lose hope, the first time I fell pregnant we only dtd once that whole month, the day before ov. It only takes one time x

Wise0wl · 02/11/2023 09:04

@Liz2681 fingers crossed for a positive test for you!

@Aaliyahrae lol yes that’s right! I’m too nervous to test but will either tomorrow or Saturday…

Aaliyahrae · 02/11/2023 08:58

@Liz2681 thank you! Keeping everything crossed for you when you test on Sunday! Keep us posted.

@Wise0wl i think I actually remember your cycle last month (that sounds strange lol! Promise I’m not a weirdo) because I’m pretty sure you posted that you had started quite soon after ovulation! Sounds promising! When are you going to test?

Aaliyahrae · 02/11/2023 08:54

@Oxalis00 Aww girl. As long as you DTD around ovulation, you’re still in for a chance. Can you try and do it again today? Are you tracking ovulation? It is so difficult when you really want it to happen and it’s so frustrating but you really aren’t out yet, not even nearly out x

Wise0wl · 02/11/2023 08:50

@Aaliyahrae thank you, my cycle last month was only 24 days but it varies between 26 and 28 usually, I’m on CD27, but no spotting yet which I usually get before AF. Feeling very nervous!

Your words really strike a chord @Oxalis00 - it’s definitely not simple and I completely get your inner chatter. If it’s helpful, I couldn’t dtd when I got a static smiley because DH was away, we just did before my static smiley and then the day DH got back (two days after static smiley). Obviously I haven’t got a positive test so I don’t think this is helpful, but sharing that I get the timing thing! Fingers crossed for you x

Liz2681 · 02/11/2023 08:48

Sorry all just catching up with messages after a busy few days!

@Aaliyahrae @Bali200 that's fantastic news! Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉🎉

@Wise0wl I think we're probably at the similar points in our cycle - I'm 8DPO today so will try testing on Sunday! My BBT has been quite high and is remaining well above the cover line so I'm feeling optimistic this cycle. Now just have to try not to test before Sunday 😅

@Oxalis00 if you did it fairly consistently in the lead up that's arguably more important, so I wouldn't get down over it. I know what you mean about trying to do things perfectly - I think that's the difficult thing about this whole process: you can do everything right but so much of it is out of our hands. Keeping everything crossed for you that you get positive news this cycle🤞🏼 x

Bali200 · 02/11/2023 08:48

Thank you so much everyone for your kind words, this is such a lovely thread 🥰 I feel a lot happier and excited than I would have thought I would but I wish I was still naive enough to think that a positive test equals a baby! This is just the first hurdle so going to try and take one day at a time and hope that it’s a sticky bean this time 🤍 xx

Here’s my chart in case anyone is interested, I think I implanted on 7dpo due to the dip in temp.

I’ve been taking 1000mg vit c, 100mg b6, alongside folic acid, vit d, and magnesium and zinc supplements and wore socks in bed every night to keep my feet warm 😅

Hoping to see lots more BFP’s appear on the thread over the coming weeks, I have my fingers crossed for you all 💗 xx

Oxalis00 · 02/11/2023 08:40

Oh wow @Bali200 that’s amazing!! Congratulations! I know a BFP isn’t a simple thing for those of us around here after loss, so I’m thinking of you as you navigate the hope and excitement and anxiety!

I’m feeling a bit meh, had a reasonable go at DTD up to Ov but didn’t manage it on O day (CD14, yesterday) and now this morning I’m sad to think of another month lost. I know it could still work out but I wanted to give it the best possible shot, do everything right, have a nice fresh sperm meet the brand new egg etc. So much unhelpful inner chatter during this process! Ugh. Anyway, might try to DTD tonight and then the wait…

Aaliyahrae · 02/11/2023 08:38

@Wise0wl thank you! fingers crossed for you! when are you due on your period?

@Gem0302 thank you!! Didn’t you? I’ve heard lots of stories about people not having any symptoms at all except for a missed period. I had nausea, sore breasts, veiny chest and a weird metallic taste with my first and extreme sickness and fatigue with my second.

Gem0302 · 02/11/2023 08:27

@Bali200 @Aaliyahrae congratulations both on your BFP. It’s lovely to see ❤️.
With my first (now aged 2) I had no symptoms at all for the whole pregnancy. X

Wise0wl · 02/11/2023 08:27

Oh wow what lovely strong lines @Aaliyahrae! congratulations!! I’m going to test soon, either tomorrow or Saturday I think x

Aaliyahrae · 02/11/2023 07:56

Hi girls, thank you for all your congratulations. Took another test from a different boots packet - I’m definitely pregnant. Feels very surreal. In a lot of shock and very very nervous after my MMC. I must have ovulated around the same week as I finished my period as we had sex the last day of my period, and again maybe 3 days later. We also had sex a couple of times without him finishing too! My cycles have been really long since my MMC like 37-40 days so I’m really confused but happy. I did start taking the Ferglobin syrup to help boost my vitamins for what I thought would be ttc in November. Not sure if that helped things along but before I started taking it, I read some good things about people falling pregnant after taking it. This is the one! https://www.boots.com/vitabiotics-feroglobin-plus-200ml-10131410?cm_mmc=bmm-buk-google-ppc--PLAs_HeroCompare---_-PMax:+UK_Smart_Shopping_Healthcare_Other&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAADrIajWQv1097SbGZGCUSdiDLqUGC&gclid=CjwKCAjw7oeqBhBwEiwALyHLM39aLYIqg3VhbSUxyPX1UXZPXQw2lpqURhtCYApNt_hEufnnWebhmxoCVHkQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

I’m really praying everything goes well in this pregnancy and I’m going to start eating properly from now!

Is anyone else testing this week?

@Bali200 so happy to see this thread get another positive, congratulations ❤️

@Aaliyahrae sorry I wasn’t online yesterday evening to reply but your test looks positive to me too 🤞 have you done any others this morning?
