Apologies if this is too personal. I'm just wondering what is the average age of women on here trying for a baby.

I'm 40, ttc no.2.

I conceived DD (15 months) when I was 38 on the fifth consecutive cycle of trying. Cycles 1-3 were losses - two miscarriages and an ectopic. Cycle 4 was bfn, but probably due to a burst ovarian cyst! DD born when I was 39.

Now on cycle 3. No bfp at all yet so things feel different. Periods and ovulation still regular though, so there's that to hold onto for now. 🙏Haven't done any fertility tests yet, but we both will if no bfp within 6 months.

Sorry to hear about multiple miscarriages - thats kinda one of my fears , having recently had an early miscarriage..
Lovely to hear you had dd after though

Sending lotsa luck re concieving number 2 - ive just upped my daily vit D supplement intake from 1000 IU to 2000 IU - was reading more of the ' it starts with an egg book '

Also since my early miscarriage - now taking floradix liquid 4 iron etc

I'm 31, took five years for my DS he's 2. Had ectopic in Feb at 7 weeks now currently trying again on cycle 4. X

I’m 32 and trying for baby number 4.
been trying for a year and I’ve had issues with ovulation and periods due to being on the pill for many years which I’ve found rough. Fingers crossed ladies.

Late 40s now but was on these boards a lot in my mid 30s. Took a lot of time to conceive ds1 at 34. But dtd without contraception literally once for ds2 at 36. No chemicals or miscarriages which I think is unusual and very lucky.

Yes I’m thinking the same now. This is cycle 9 - last pregnant at 42, nearly 1.5 years ago now. but ended. That time was a total surprise. I think my fertility has greatly reduced since then. Not feeling hopeful any more this month- due AF tomorrow.

27 with baby number 3 but sadly lost baby number 2. So hopefully will have 2 living children just after I turn 28 x

40 had a miscarriage in April but my body retained it so I had a tablet to insert and bled myself unconscious, dh took me to hospital and I had an emergency d&c and needed 3 bags of blood.
Stopped trying after that.

33 TTC #1 for 3.5 years, 1 chemical earlier this year but no successful pregnancy as yet…

  1. Had missed miscarriages in 2019 (with my ex) after 2.5 years TTC and in July this year (current partner). No living children. Now cycle 2 of trying post MMC.
