Good Morning Everybody, nice new thread! i have not been on for a couple of days and i couldnt find our old thread and i was starting to panic and then i saw the new one!

Anyway, DH and I have decided not to wait for the scan and just go ahead and TTC. so there, we were going to wait till may.

I am just thrilled to finally started ttc

I am only on Dy8 of my cycle tho, so definitely not fertile time, but there is no harm in practising eh?

also using the clearblue fertility monitor!
i hope to get the high fertility sign on the monitor in 5 days time.

if i do get pg, it will be a christmas baby...hmmm, not sure about it but i will still be very happy.

calsworld · 05/03/2008 07:54

Morning. Still poorly this morning but DS is better so DH has taken him to nursery so I can get some proper rest. Have had to de-camp to the bedroom with laptop so that dash to loo isn't too far .

I can believe someone fell asleep - I'm always ready to sleep and I've only got one! However, if she was that tired perhaps she should have thought about setting an alarm or something. Bless her, she probably thought she was just going to have five mins rest. Poor LO, he must have felt awful - good job your DH was there for him, could have been a lot worse otherwise.

Diege, don't think I'd ever be able to get my DH to wee on a stick, he'd be too worried about me telling all our mates!!

GJ, thanks for meal suggestions - they seem really obvious now you've said them! I had j pot and salad last night and I'll be having a slice of toast in a minute. Lunch will be another j pot I guess then onto pasta for tea. I've never had an upset tummy go on for so long before - do you think it will help me lose weight?

Well, AF was due last Thursday and STILL no sign of it...is it possible to just not have one?

kayzisbroody · 05/03/2008 06:23

Morning all,

Tiger, thats awful. I can't believe anyone could fall asleep when they are meant to be picking up their lo.

Dh did lock my HPT's away and I really want to test and he won't let me have me have it.
Which is good I suppose.

I hope I don't need to test on Saturday as we have to get up at 4 to get ready to go to the NEC.

Have good days all and I'll be on at lunchtime.

Starshinetiger · 04/03/2008 22:40

I just can't keep up with you lot. GJ - my halo is still there at the mo, but I must admit that I saw one of our Consultants at work today, who I haven't seen in several months and she is 6 months pregnant - my first thought "I want to be pregnant"!!!
Now on CD2, so just this cycle and one more then we are going for it. Cue lots of practising this month and next and real need for me to lose weight.
Mind you, don't know how I'm going to cope with the hormones - DH just rang from work to say he's going to be late. He manages a sports centre and he's got a 6yo there, who hasn't been collected from his club, which finished at 7.30pm!!! ! Police have ended up getting involved, but they have traced the Mum - she fell asleep on her sofa apparently !! He says lo is an absolute star, but still ! Made me well up just thinking about it and before DS I wasn't an emotional person - will DC2 make me even more so?!
Popcorn, sorry to hear about you and your sis.
Kayz and Cal, sorry about BFNs.
Right, should be in bed reading up on conception and fertility [hmmm] - last 4 months have been 24 days, 29 days, 24 days and 29 days, so at least some pattern, but I need to know when I'm OV... Wasn't this complicated 1st time round, but now I just want it to happen straight away in May.
'Nother long post from me.. Sorry , expect you're all in bed anyway, g'night!

Teuch · 04/03/2008 22:30

hmm...weird OV-type pain at the moment!! Maybe I always get pains like this butonly really notice when looking out for OV/PG symptoms

Night all!

Teuch · 04/03/2008 22:29

eat better than I do!!!

Teuch · 04/03/2008 22:28

On the subject of rattling - I read on another thread about Vitamin E and wondered if anyone else knew much about it or was planning on taking it?

Seems to be a good all-rounder...

I#m takin my normal multivitamin, folic acid, echinacia (as I am fighting nasty cold ) and vitamin C. I rattle...

DH taking nothing, but then he does better than I do!

Diege · 04/03/2008 21:31

their faint line [cringe]

Diege · 04/03/2008 21:30

LOL Kay at dh!! Actaully dh's can be useful re: hpt if you get very faint lines. I've heard of women on mumsnet getting their dps to wee on a stick, and then being cheered by the fact that there faint line IS a line. There you go then, men have a use after all

Diege · 04/03/2008 21:29

Moosma, yes you can but vit B by itself, but I think the dose for MS (0f B6) has to be worked out by GP/homeopath?? I remember investigating it when pregnant last time via the Blooming Awful website, but giving up because I was confused by variation in recommeded dose in Us compared to UK?? Would be very willing to try it next time though (I'll try anything!!)
GJ, the problem with the poshies for me is taking them 3 times a day. Plus you have to chnage to the next lot up when you're actually pregnant, though I'm bloomin well finishing the bottle for the price! If I have anything spare though I'll happily pass them on down through the thread list .
Off to bed now, as it's my 6am start tomorrow...Speak tomorrow, diege xxx

kayzisbroody · 04/03/2008 21:20

I dont think I could possibly take anymore tablets. I feel like a walking pharmacey!

Dh just offered to do a HPT so he could show me that everyone gets a BFN at some point in their life.

Bless him!!

MoosMa · 04/03/2008 20:52

Can you buy vit B by itself? I've heard it works wonders for MS but thought it had to be prescribed...

I'm going to get some folic acid when I go to Asda on Friday, trouble is I go with my mum so I'll have to sneak it past her, teehee!

kayzisbroody · 04/03/2008 20:36

Hello work was pants except for some bloke telling me I looking Blooming. Now surely thats a symptom!!

Cal, Im sorry you got another BFN. I hope you feel better soon.

As regards carbs but no diary, how about...baked spuds with baked beans? Pasta with stir-fried veg/chicken? Cous cous with err, veg/chicken... Er, that's it
My posh supplements still haven't arrived yet, so will have to slum it with the rest of you on pregnacare doncha know

calsworld · 04/03/2008 19:22

Hi all, wow you've been busy, I've only been gone a few hours! Well, sorry, but I'm going to make up for it!

I had DS at home today as he was sick last night so nursery won't have him - we slept for two hours this morning and two hours this afternoon - I love cuddling up and going to sleep with him, he's so snuggly! He's 15 months and very cute!

He'll go back in to nursery tomorrow so I can continue getting better.... I have had the most pants three weeks ever.

First, I had really bad tonsillitis and was signed off for two weeks, Then, just as I was preparing to go back to work, the world went wonky - signed off for another week with Labyrinthitis - a viral inner ear infection which made me keep losing my balance and fall over.

Now, I've had the two bob bits since yesterday morning and can't take diareze coz we don't know if I'm pregnant or not - and there is still no sign of AF.

I did manage to do a test today but again it was BFN. It wasn't the first one of the day and I'm wondering if it would be squiffed because of the diarrhoea? I've been on the phone to NHS direct and they've said that it could continue for up to a week , drink lots of water and eat a bland diet full of carbohydrates, drink dioralyte stuff - which is YUK and if it gets painful see a doctor.

However, I already have a doctors appt on Thursday to review my blood test results and determine whether or not I'm fit to go back to work... .

Its just one thing after another, after another.

And I'm starving hungry and I've got to eat carbs without dairy.. , pasta without cheese? jacket spud without butter? somebody, anybody, inspire me please!!!

And the bloody dog has just farted .

lardylumps · 04/03/2008 18:51
