Can't get to hospital, or the GP's, or out of hours GP's.... see here, if you can be bothered!

Yes, well coming up to 36 hours, since he woke up yesterday morning.

Can't do any of what you've suggested, he is only 15 months, he doesn't understand to keep his head forward and not to swallow, that is why NHS Direct said if it get's any worse to get an ambulance.

Right I really am off now! Have a g'night if I don't make it back xxx

NJ has he really had a 36 hour nose bleed? Have you tried wrapping ice cubes in a cold wet flannel and pinching them on the bridge of his nose? Remember to keep his head tilted forward not back, if he swallows too much blood it could make him sick. 36 hours is a long time!!

Awww, I found with DS1 when he started nursery that the thought of me just leaving there scared him to death, but as soon as I left him, I used to walk round the corner of the building to check on him and he would be playing away quite happily! Only once he absolutely cried his heart out and didn't want me to leave, but he was poorly later that day so I think it had as much to do with that as anything!

Right had better get the kids dinner sorted incase we have a trip to the hospital tonight.... And DH is going to be really late I am all on my own.

DD1 had a lovely time this morning, she's been telling me all about it this afternoon - that was a relief!

OK so I am on stand by for ringing an ambulance, if not for DS2's nose bleed (only 36 hours long ), then for DS1's attitude Can't believe I want another one of him! I thought the teens kicked in at 13, not 5!

Just checked and I recon I could see my fango in the bedroom mirror if I bent over and touch my toes......

Next problem is being able to touch my toes.... Only just being able to see them after 12 long months let alone touch them

Just to add to the TMI theme, I think the blue-ish tinge relates to your general 'bits' too, which may be more accesible via the mirror route

LOL I don't think he'd mind, he did a DIY sweep, (talked through by our very own LoulaDoula ) when I was overdue with DS2 LOL Huge thread about it somewhere.... he likes to be involved

ooh, to change the subject somewhat, an early sign of pregnancy is a blue-tinged cervix!! (my GP could tell I was pregnant with dd3 when I went for a smear before the HPT showed a positive!!!)

God I am SO ANGRY about what happened to you Nat . It's a subject close to my heart, and dh is actually on our local transport committee trying to get more people walking/cylcling to school etc... What a total idiot that man is [50 pence piece scraped along car sounds good..]!!!!
Haven't read thread since early this morning, so will try and catch up, but just wanted to let you know that this sort of thing goes on everywhere and drives me MAD!!!!

Ah but if we weren't all so bloody impatient and in this POV of needing everything NOW, then we wouldn't bother with tests anyway....

(Says she who can't go past Boots without nipping in to see if they have any tests on good deals!)
