I got another bfn this morning. I dont think I am pg. Dh doesnt either as I have been nice to him!! I got real bad mood swings in the first 8 weeks!

Bloody MIL has just text me to say that ds likes chips!!!
No wonder ds has had a really bad tummy last night and this moring. Dh was trying to work out why ds's runny poo smelt like a chip shop!!!

Shouldn't have phoned. Am crying now.

They said he's ok but not very happy. Keeps crying and being grumpy, it either means he's tired, hungry or unwell and just keep thinking he's be happier with me, but I'm struggling so much - I have to keep running to the toilet and I'm worried its me making him poorly.

Not sure about DS bug..he vomited on Friday night (all over 'each, peach, pear, plum' and the duvet) throwing DH into panic! Queue mummy exiting from relaxing bath at lightening speed and naked streaking around! LOL

Then he was fine on Sat/Sun/Mon till the evening when he vomited again. No D though. I had to have him at home with me on Tues coz nursery won't have him within 24 hours of sickness. He was fine, although tired so went back yesterday. He had normal nappies and ate well right up till the end.

I've not heard from them so assume he's ok so far today. Think I'll phone them...BRB

Cute moment - sat him down to put his shoes on this morning and whilst I was doing one, he was trying to wedge the other on my big toe!

Oh - am surprised about walking, coz I thought walking at 15 months was late, but apparently not? He learnt to crawl (well, commando wriggle but got where he wanted to go) at five months - crawls ridiculously fast and started walking independently about 2 weeks ago - he's now trying to run!

I thought it was late coz other kids much younger than him at nursery have been walking well for some time now, he's one of the last ones of his 'generation' to go down to toddlers and he's surrounded by little babies.

WHen I picked him up yesterday, they said he'd been very sensitive all day, not liking it if other kids got too close and trying to take other kids toys away from them, throwing things, hitting children....I said, "poor James, clearly he's still feeling a bit under the weather, did you give him lots of cuddles?" - blank faces all round . So my poor little DS had been ignored because he was grumpy - if he was always grumpy I could understand it but he's usually the chirpiest one there - giggling and being funny, making the other babies laugh etc. Surely with him being there 7.30 to 5.30 five days a week for the last 6 months you'd think they'd know him better?

To make it worse, when I picked him up I could smell he had a dirty nappy too and it was 'loose', he obviously was feeling v poorly.

Moosma - glad your DD liked school and about being disappointed to not go back till next week. I bet she had loads of fun!

Sorry to hear you're still not well cal, hopefully the doc will sort you out later Is your DS walking yet? I've noticed a lot that early walkers tend to be late talkers and vice versa. I think they concentrate on one thing at once (much like DHs!).

Speaking of DHs, we ticked one thing off our list last night, only 28 to go now!

And after all my worrying about DD1 liking preschool, she woke up this morning and asked if she was going again, then looked very disappointed when I said yes, but not till next week.

I only asked coz DS (15 months) isn't really saying anything at all, everything is 'da' except the dog, who is da-da (susie). I've found a thread on development and posted on there so hopefully will get some reassurance from there. I know boys are generally slower its just that I see so many kids at nursery saying stuff of a similar age or younger and I wonder if I should worry. He's always been quite placid and very quiet so maybe I shouldn't be surprised?

What's everyone doing today? Got anything exciting planned? Is anyone about to keep me company?

Morning all! Goodness, you're an early bunch...I was with you in mind...

Tummy has still not settled, woken up by awful pains at 4 this morning and spent the next hour running back and forth to loo. Just had another 'episode' at about 7.30 and didn't get to say goodbye to DS before DH took him to nursery.

I've got a doctor's appt this afternoon so hopefully he will confirm my suspicions that I just missed a period due to illness and I can take a diareze and it will all stop. Trouble is, my sick note runs out today and I'm really not sure I'm fit to go in to work tomorrow, but its been three weeks! I've NEVER been off work with sickness for so long before and it doesn't feel good.

I get some blood test results back in the appt too, hopefully some clarity - main test is for glandular fever. But if its negative then I don't know what happens next. I guess I look like a big fraud.

Anyhoo, enough whinging, mega grrr's at MIL for you NJ and K - I'd have been going up the wall in those situations! Fortunately, the only issues I have with MIL is that she spoils DS and ignores what I tell her - on the basis that DH turned out alright Not convinced that she fed DH on biscuits but there we go. Trivial by comparison to your outlaws.

I didn't take mumomega till I was well into my pregnancy and found it had a huge benefit, so if its a benefit big enough to notice its probably worth taking in advance. Having said that, I won't be taking it until I get a BFP.

I think someone said about taking omega oils instead of mumomega - you have to check quite carefully which ones you take coz normal omega supplements are from cod liver and therefore contain Vit A. That's why mumomega charge more, coz they are specially for pregnancy and vit A free.

NJ - does your DS2 talk at all yet?

OMG what a night Nat! I can see why MIL chat isn't your favourite topic . Try and take it easy today - strictly no housework!.
Oh and a tip for arsey drivers. Make sure you bang really hard on their precious cars with your fist. They go crazy! Dh does it when they try and cut him up on his bike to get 2 cm further along the road - not good when he has dds on the back. He usually gets 'don't touch the car!!' (oh, so it's OK to touch my child with your car...???). Ooh you've started me off again!

That's reminded me, I need to get some of those mumomegas. They say on the Zita West website that you need to build up reserves . Sure it's a marketing ploy, but still..
Oh yes Kay (how could I have forgotton!!). I spoke to Cieran yesterday on his mobile and he's more than happy to do an autograph. He'll try and sign a copy of his new book for you, but failing that will send a signed photo. I thought a signed babygrow would be a good idea, but for some strange reason he wasn't too keen on that one

My mumomega tablets are huge. Im not to keen on taking tablets.

Oh and my posh supplements arrived last night!! Have sent dh off a with the correct no. but see he's already forgotten to take the first tablet I left out . And you should see the size of them!! Like horse pills...will really struggle to swallow them!

We just got a voucher and during our break we had to go and get a book.

I am gonna have a very tired few days. Dh is at work at 5 tomorrow morning and then a 4 o'clock start on Saturday.

I'm not surprised with a 5 am start!
I really hate thurs/frinmornings without dh to get dd3 up 5.45ish (that's the deal, as I get up during the night if needed). Of course at the weekends he then goes back to bed for 2/3 hours .
World Book Hell Day today, so dds have to dress up as their fave character. Great in principle, but we have to roll out the same of costumes every year (Snow White, Dalmation dog) that bear no resemblance to the books they love!
