Babytonic does NOT have a BUG! He is just grouchy and di not sleep long enough this morning. Trouble is it will be school run time soon so not worth putting him to bed now. Feckin school run.

Thank you Cal, they are cute from a distance

calsworld · 06/03/2008 13:38

LOL Diege!

calsworld · 06/03/2008 13:38

LG&T, just had a look at your profile and love your photos...your DC's are beautiful! Love your wedding photo too. Sorry if that is a bit stalker'ish but been nosing at everyone's profiles. Glad your DC's are feeling better

Strange to put faces to 'posts'?!

Have had some toast and marmite and feel a bit better for it.

I can't remember what my signs were last time - my boobs are sore at the moment and think they were last time too...IIRC the skin on my legs went really, really dry.

I had morning sickness from about week 6 to 39 (not long then and all the smell sensitivities that went with that. Little while till that kicks in if I am pg. Before the diarrhoea I was convinced I'm pregnant, but now I just kind of feel blank. Probably due to the tiredness....ooh, tiredness, that's another symptom...

LOL, I'd love to be pg but just am not convinced.

Diege · 06/03/2008 13:33

You must try again with the babywipes Nat, it's a technique, a sort of scooping movement . I use them for everything, esp the laminate floor. My biggest mistake was getting the aloe vera ones - white smears everywhere .

NatalieJane · 06/03/2008 13:23

Well luckily, it doesn't seem to be bothering him, apart from me coming at him with tissues and baby wipes everytime he moves

Whats up with BabyTonic? Not another bug?

I haven't even thought about lunch, DS2 had sausage roll - not Gregs!! - yoghurt and a banana.

Right had better get on with the house, am determined to get at least down stairs done before we have to go to get DS1. (Although popping on here every half an hour isn't doing me much good!)

Good, hope he is ok poor little thing.

I had a ham sarnie for lunch not very exciting. Beau is miserable, grumpy wee tyke. He will be off to bed if this keeps up!

NatalieJane · 06/03/2008 13:11

Sorry appointment is at 4.20

That's what I watching for, up until yesterday afternoon I was convinced it wasn't going down the back of his nose, but then he did a couple of coughs and blood came out, that's when I rang NHSD. No more bloody coughs since though, so hopefully it has stopped going down the back now.

I don't really think the GP is going to do anything as such, I am more just wanting to double check he hasn't stuffed anything up there, but I think he would be in pain with it if he had. DH used to get lot's of nose bleeds as a kid, so I guess it was bound to happen to one of the kids!

OP posts:
largeginandtonic · 06/03/2008 13:08

I only ask because a nose bleed does not just pour out through the nose, it can pour down the back of his throat where you cant see it. What time is your appointment?

NatalieJane · 06/03/2008 13:07

if it got worse sorry....

OP posts:
NatalieJane · 06/03/2008 13:06

Been bleeding on and off since Tuesday morning when he woke up, it could have been bleeding before he woke up though. I rang NHS Direct yesterday, they said if it stayed the same take him to GP today, it it got worse yesterday to take him to out of hours GP, and if it started pouring to call an ambulance. As I say it is a bit better than yesterday so we are off to the GP's this afternoon.

OP posts:
largeginandtonic · 06/03/2008 13:04

NJ how long has it been bleeding for now and have you spoken to a doc about it?

NatalieJane · 06/03/2008 13:02

LG&T, Glad the pox have gone - what a relief!! Ooooh tingly boobs before OV-ing, deffo pregnant

I think my (real ) syptoms pre-period for me was very very slight waves of nausea (but didn't get that with DS1), sense of smell goes through the roof (all 3 times times), second and third time my norks felt like they were absolutely full of milk (may have done first time round but didn't know the feeling then) and a bit of a wierdy one, my face/skin has about 3 days where it is just absolutely flawless and glowing and looks the most healthiest it ever has, got that all three times, never had it at any other time, so is deffo something to do with being pregnant. Oh and I get nose bleeds, again, only when pregnant, have only had nose bleed once when I wasn't pregnant, when a rugby ball hit my nose full on, how it didn't break it I don't know, but I nearly broke the willy off the lad that kicked it!!

Never noticed a blue fanjo..... LOL

DS2's nose isn't bleeding as much as yesterday, still having to wipe it away every now and then. Doctors this afternoon...

Diege, I am , baby wipes don't get rid of dust, just spreads it around, not that I tried to cheat and use them! Although they are very good on the sofa's and the casing of the telly, polish leaves it looking dirty, baby wipes cleans

Cal, you can still try testing.... I am such a bad influence..... And the telly is always on in our house, normally not being watched by anyone, but it is on.... who cares?!!!

And my house does not sparkle, well, the kitchen is sparkling now, just got to get through the rest of it! I must say though, will be having words with DH, have cleared up of his stuff than mine and the kids put together....

largeginandtonic · 06/03/2008 13:01

Post o pain, will keep an eye out for that one!

All mine much the same, nothing really till 6-7 weeks. I do get those awful crampy pains till about 8-9 weeks so am constantly thinking is it AF coming or not. Then sick, well nausea mostly, sensitive to smell, tingly boobs. I have with 3 of them (twins and dd) had a nasty bladder infection almost straight away. This has not happened since though, could be higher hormone levels with the twins and dd i suppose.

I wish i had kept notes too!

Cal poor you my sweet

kayzisbroody · 06/03/2008 12:58

Oh stuff other mums!!!
Ds loves watching the tv, especially car adverts, just like his dad then.

He even watches it when its turned off. But he then points and says "no dad" if his dad tries to turn it on.

Diege · 06/03/2008 12:53

Ooh Cal seriously that 'sign' for me is a dead give away. I've had 3 succesful pregnancies, and one chemical one, and they're the only times I had post-O pains!! Fingers crossed for you .
Oh and totally with you on the tv front. Sometimes you just have to go with what's easiest (I have it only almost constantly when at home with dd3 on a Friday, although more often just background). And who doesn't like having their dinner in front of the tv now?

calsworld · 06/03/2008 12:46

Diege...ref 'the most excruciating cramps after GOF' - erm, I had that last week ... and I thought it was in my head that the only time I'd had it before was when I was pg...CD35 and still no AF

If I could just get my tummy to stop running I could do another blimin test but its all a bit tricky. Sorry for TMI at lunchtime.

LOL at LO's getting undressed - DS doesn't like wearing socks at all. I've always left them off when he was a baby, growing feet and all that, but he wears them to nursery. Now when I collect him I know all the places they put them after he's pulled them off first thing!

The highchair we have for him was given to us by my big sis, and it tilts back for small babies to use - well, BIG baby that he is, he prefers to have it tilted back so that he can lounge back and put his feet up - and if I'm being really naughty, he watches telly whilst I'm feeding him dinner.

Cal is now going to take cover from all the mums that have opinions about 15 month old watching telly. (Rare act of defiance - Bugger off - he's had a mad busy day at nursery and he's crackered, and refuses to eat unless its on just like his blimin' father).

NJ - you're always sooo busy, you're house must sparkle! I could bring a duster but you might need to show me what to do with it!

Diege · 06/03/2008 12:37

wish I'd kept notes

Diege · 06/03/2008 12:37

Hello all! Dusting party sounds good NJ, though don't think I've possesed one in my lifetime (use baby wipes .
Hi L&G - I have a good feeling about this month for you...Can I ask if your pre-pregnancy symptoms were the same with all your LOs? I'm trying to remember how I felt with my 3 (which I'd kept notes) but other than tingly nipples and the most excrutitaing cramps after GOF (if I'd [ahem] had a you know what)I can't really remember. After af due, there were always loads (sensitive to smells, esp car exhaust fumes, total lack of appetite, then of course the HG at 5.5 weeks..) Oh and the blue fanjo pointed out during my smear test .

kayzisbroody · 06/03/2008 12:35

I have just had a pot noodle
Im so tired, I really need a nap!

BeMyLilBaby · 06/03/2008 12:27

hello all! i cant keep up!!
NJ hows bub today? Cal sorry both u and DS are so ill

Wrks driving me nuts today x

largeginandtonic · 06/03/2008 12:27

Pox all gone! Your niece should be ok by then, very spotty but not sharing the love

NJ you sound like dh and i, it will all stop once i am preg. Him too

My norks feel bigger and tingly, i have not even ov'd yet

Lunchtime hooray! Now what shall i have? Kay i dont have any pot noodles

kayzisbroody · 06/03/2008 12:02

He just takes his socks off at the moment. But he can take his arms out of his sleeves.

NatalieJane · 06/03/2008 11:59

Yep, I have one here that I practically undress to save him doing it himself and spreading his clothes all around the house! At least if I take them off as we come in the door, when it gets to the time to go and get DS1 I know where all his clothes are and they aren't all creased up!

OP posts:
kayzisbroody · 06/03/2008 11:53

Can I bring a ds who has decided to take his sock off and wipe his mouth with it?

He is in the middle of having dinner. Then he held it out and said "Ta"
