So sorry, been like a mad house this morning, not stopping, will catch up after school run.

Just to let you know George's appointment was OK. Doc thinks he has been picking his nose (have caught him with finger up there a couple of times) and has damaged some of the little vessels, which have then got infected hence the bleeding. Also said about this cold that has gone on since xmas, doc checked his ears and throat, ears are inflamed, throat red and sore. We explained how he is at times really rattling in his chest and he said although it sounds clear at the moment, he thinks it is asthma. He already has an inhaler, but when we use it, it doesn't seem to make any difference. So Doc suggested going into see the asthma nurse to make sure we are using the mask thing properly. I don't really see how we aren't doing it properly, and the asthma might explain the cold away but not the red throat and inflamed ears, but we have to take his word for it.

Appointment with asthma nurse is Tuesday, but I am going to book another GP appointment for afterwards to see about his ears and throat.

He has given us some anti-biotic nose cream stuff for the infection, but it has nut oil in it, DS2 hase never had nuts before, am worried about giving it Don't know why, neither of them have any allergies that we know of, but I always seem to link asthma and nut allergy in my head for some silly reason Daren't give him it last night and then leave him over night, so will give first lot this morning and see how we go.....

Right, I must get on, will be back with catch up after 9 xxx

Ok then BB, I will do another test Monday morning if AF or bfp hasn't arrived.

BeMyLilBaby · 07/03/2008 08:08

What always helps Teuch is to think about lots of chocolate eclairs and chocloate sauce..mmmm...feeling better??

kayzisbroody · 07/03/2008 07:57

PMSL,
Oh dear Teuch.

Hangover by any chance?

Teuch · 07/03/2008 07:56

"groin"?!

Stop talking so loud, you lot!! And talking about pot noodles...

Kay - stick in there buddy! Not over yet.

Right, just need to be horizontal for a few more minutes and couch beckons...

kayzisbroody · 07/03/2008 07:43

I do have a chicken and mushroom one. I only eat Chicken and mushroom or chinese chow mein.

Diege · 07/03/2008 07:41

Never too early for the chicken and mushroom variety...

Diege · 07/03/2008 07:41

Morning G&T . Good advice there. From past experience what always brings on a bfp for me is to buy a huge box of tampax that then just gathers dust for 9 months!
Alternatively, get in a huge bar of galaxy and bottle of wine to look forward to if af arrives, then start focusing on the next month!

kayzisbroody · 07/03/2008 07:41

I just made ds's breakfast and saw my pot noodle stash and really wanted one. But its too early for pot noodle.

largeginandtonic · 07/03/2008 07:35

ALSO Teuch... >

PMSL

largeginandtonic · 07/03/2008 07:33

Oh where is Nat??? Hope little G's appointment went ok. Worry, worry.

Kay the result is inconclusive, loads of people have neg results and are actually pregnant. It is about now i start to convince myself i am not just to set myself up. I am quite pessismistic by nature though. That way the little blue line is always so much more exciting

Eat a pot noodle and think of other things, lots of love to you xxx

kayzisbroody · 07/03/2008 07:30

Dont worry Tiger, I know I'm impatient. I thought I would have got less impatient with having ds but I havent.

What Diege, waddling 'Corrie' style!!!

I couldn't wait 12 weeks!!!

Diege · 07/03/2008 07:27

Kay, I am sure you will be pregnant within a year!!! Probably with a babe in arms or at least heavily waddling stage .
Tiger, yes I remember my mum saying similar. No HPTs so you'd wait until you had missed 2 afs before going to the GPs. I bet we would all be a lot calmer with HPTS, but that most of us would 'know' by 12 weeks!!

Starshinetiger · 07/03/2008 07:25

I totally agree Kay and I didn't mean to suggest you were impatient, just can you imagine waiting 12 weeks?!! Although on basis of DS, my morning all day sickness would have confirmed it for me! It is very hard - I've tested twice in the last 6 months due to late AF and I'm not even trying yet.
Right, really must be off to work...

kayzisbroody · 07/03/2008 07:22

Thanks Tiger. I should really stop being so impatient.
I just want to know one way or the other.

Starshinetiger · 07/03/2008 07:18

Morning all, sorry about no cure for D Cal, but very promising from the GP. My Mum often reminds me when we're discussing things like this that in her day, you usually didn't get a confirmed pregnancy until 12 weeks - what would we all be like? !
Kay, sorry BFN and still no AF, can't say anything except what Diege has really.
Right, should be getting off to work... catch y'all later.
Oh and Teuch LOL at your post - [groin] indeed!

kayzisbroody · 07/03/2008 07:14

Yeah hopefully in a year's time I will be pg.

Diege · 07/03/2008 07:11

It could take a few months for your cycle to settle down. The thing that always helped me was then thought that in a year's time I would either be pregnant or with a newborn. It put things into perspective, and it was true!

kayzisbroody · 07/03/2008 07:02

I'm really worried about that. I always had 28 day cycles before I went on the pill and then while I was on the pill too.

Knowing my luck its gone crazy.

I haven't been able to drink my coffee this morning and I feel terrible.

Diege · 07/03/2008 06:57

Hmmm, it's a tough one. Could of course be one of those horrible 'starting to ttc afs', when your cycle goes crazy for no reason. I remember my first month of ttc dd3. My always regular 28 day af was 35 days, cue total obsession for the next 5 months until I got my BFP!

kayzisbroody · 07/03/2008 06:53

No I dont feel like its about to start. I feel normal except from feeling a bit queasy.
