Hello hello!!Just back from work and wanted to pop in! I just cannot keep up!!!
Just caught the end of the cervical erosion thing. 99% of the time it's totally harmless (so I'm told as I had it when I was on the pill)and usually hormone-related (pill, pregnancy...). I actually had to have fortnightly scans with dd3 to measure my cervix and, if necessary, have a cervical stitch. This was because of previous cervical surgery though, not the erosion . You're right NJ, on balance the evidence is that stithces make no difference to outcome, but my hospital swore by them . Anyway, I never needed one!
I am feeling very smug about my af. I predicted I had ovulated early (about a week) and yes my af has started today At least I know when I'm ovulating now though, although a little about my change froma 29 to a 22 day cycle!

He is at work!!

All of my friends are busy tonight so I'll have a cocktail party on my own. I'll probably only have 1 drink.

BeMyLilBaby · 12/03/2008 17:18

new thread ladies xx

NatalieJane · 12/03/2008 17:17

You get drunk very easily and you are planning a cocktail party? Your poor DH!!!

I do enjoy being able to sit in the morning evening with a glass of wine, good food, good conversation with DH, but I have gone without for the other two, I am sure I can do it again. Probably. Maybe......

I dont drink that much, mainly because after 9 months of no alcohol I get drunk very easily.

NatalieJane · 12/03/2008 17:12

Actually, I think I have some very distant cousin or some such that had twins a few years ago, used to be quite close when we were little, but haven't seen/spoken/heard from her in years, not even sure if I have just imagined it or not.... Anyway, I still didn't 'know' her through the pregnancy, if there was ever such a pregnancy.

Can you tell I need a drink? LOL How am I gonna last the whole nine months without?

Not an alcoholic BTW, just very similar to one....! LOL

There must be. Everyone says that about Co-op where I work.

Once there is 1 person pg 2 usually follow really quickly. There is always 3 people pg at work at the same time or no one pg at all.

NatalieJane · 12/03/2008 17:09

Will be nothing compared to labour sweetie!!! Look on the bright side and all that!

I most definately do not want twins!!

I have a feeling coil removal will huuuuurt but s'gotta be done eh? i shall cry like a wimp be brave x

kayzisbroody · 12/03/2008 17:03

Nat I know 3 people expecting twins, no 4 as my sister's friend is due to have hers in around 5 weeks.

kayzisbroody · 12/03/2008 17:01

LOL Nat, I was terrible in labour. I told dh I was in labour he said no, I told my mum I was she said maybe. I told the midwife I was in labour and she said have a bath!!!!

So in the end I got my mum to take me to hospital and they said I was 6cm dilated and really should have came in earlier!!

I really really want twins, but none in my family or in dh's so chances are very slim.

NatalieJane · 12/03/2008 17:00

Cervical erosion is one of those things.... it is either serious, or it's not. Sounds like not in this case. I think they used to put a stitch in the cervix to stop it opening too early, but I think they have stopped doing it now due it not making any difference...! Might be wrong, am dredging up memeries from long ago.

Twins though! What is it with you and twins? Everyone you know are expecting twins!! I'm not bloody catching it!

NatalieJane · 12/03/2008 16:57

Oooooh BB, coil removal - lurverly 'tis dead exciting though

I am going to try and not have a 'Am I in labour - part two' thread this time, will have to see what the old uterous is up to..... can you imagine if it happens again, but even earlier..... am starting to wonder if a DC3 is a good idea afterall....!

Sorry Kay, I have a plan of me and DH curled up on the sofa, making up for missed time last night. Though we did have a doinking this morning.... Insatiable I tell you....!

Ok Best Friend's dp has just rang me. She has Cervical Erosion????????

He said he doesn't understand but if she does a lot of exercise e.g. GOF it can cause her to bleed. Anyone heard of it before?

He said it's no harm to the baby or babies as she had a scan and she is expecting twins!!!!!

HEHE she said that just because she is a twin and her dp is a twin she wouldn't have twins!!

I feel really sick, first 10 minutes ago her mum text me to say she had gone to hospital this morning and was bleeding and I thought she was loosing her lo. Now there are 2 lo's!!

Awwwww Nat thats lovely.

I have always wanted to go in an ambulance with flashing lights.
I was told by the hospital that we'd have to get the bus (only an hour's journey) as ambulances are for emergancies.

Thank god that ds was late as my mum and mil decided to go away at the same time a week before ds was due.

YAY BB WOOO HOOOO!!! Not long now!!

Anyone fancy coming to a cocktail party tonight. My best mate was meant to be coming round for a takeaway and a girly night of Dirty Dancing, but she has been bleeding and is going to the hospital to be checked over.

I have:
Jack Daniels
Jim Bean
Barcardi Rum
Vodka
Raspberry Vodka
Pimms
Some minging whisky!!

Plus various other alcohol.
