@MsDeanna36 congrats on your positive!! Totally know how you feel. It’s so upsetting after a loss that you’re so aware a new positive line doesn’t equal a baby anymore.

Really hope this is a sticky one. Easier said than done but try to distract and treat yourself to make things feel a bit easier. X

Sleepysheepish · 14/10/2023 22:46

@MsDeanna36 that must be so difficult! Try and celebrate each day as it comes 🥰 Easier said than done I know!

wanderlustre · 14/10/2023 22:04

@ceruleansky I did think that. At our first appointment the nurse who took our history said the wait between the test appointment and the results would seem ages (we were told 12 weeks and it's turned out to be 24 weeks) but then afterwards we'd find the next steps towards IVF would happen really quick. But looking at the guidance for our area we should have been trying for 2 years before a referral for IVF whereas it'll be 15 months for us so far by the time it comes around so I don't even know.

MsDeanna36 · 14/10/2023 21:23

Hi everyone. I got my positive 3 days ago. Its gotten a bit darker each day. I'm not even due my period for another 2 days, so got a really early positive.
I want to be happy, but I've had 3 consecutive miscarriages that haven't made it past week 6. I just want to be at week 12, get a scan and see a heartbeat.

Wonderpants3 · 14/10/2023 18:01

I’m currently TTC Number 2, DS is 1 is around 2 weeks. My periods have been back for about 8 months and range from 30-35 days at the mo, I’m CD 22 and still no Peak on OPK, does anyone have longer cycles and ovulate late? Feel like I’m driving myself mad testing every few hours to see if my LH is rising!

ReginaPhalange12 · 14/10/2023 16:36

@ceruleansky AF is due tomorrow so if she hasn't arrived in the morning I'll probably test again but I'm feeling crampy today 👎🏼

ceruleansky · 14/10/2023 16:10

@wanderlustre
Oh, if you haven't tried other treatments or scans it's strange that they would directly ask you to start IVF. That's usually the final stop..
Maybe you can discuss possible options with your doctor and decide what you're comfortable with..

wanderlustre · 14/10/2023 13:39

@ceruleansky We haven't tried anything yet tbh. No one would really touch is until we got over a year of trying under our belts. We just keep getting sent for basic tests that don't seem to show anything.

ceruleansky · 14/10/2023 11:17

@ReginaPhalange12
Are you planning to test again? I've heard working out helps tons in regularizing hormones. Fingers crossed for you!!
Thank you for the wishes!!

@wanderlustre
Yeah, DH and I have decided to have a spa day.. 😄 and we are visiting my parents tomorrow.

I hope you get better answers from your clinic! Unexplained sounds so unclear. What kind of treatments/procedures have you tried before?

@hicketypickety
Thank you! Yes, hoping it works with the new drug. I feel like carbs are the reason my hormones are whacked. I read that there is a corelation.
Anyway, how are you doing??

@Lushfanatic123
Looks promising!! Good luck!

ReginaPhalange12 · 14/10/2023 08:41

@bumptobean it's still so early so try not to worry. Me on the other hand... 11DPO, AF due tomorrow & a stark BNF 😣

My cycle is quite short at 24 days, on one hand it's good so I can start trying again quite quickly but on the other hand I'm back to testing and TWW so quickly it all feels too much sometimes

Lushfanatic123 · 14/10/2023 08:14

Last night had more but it was a brighter pinky red.

I am roughly 6/7dpo as I don't actually know when I ovulated.

bumptobean · 14/10/2023 07:40

8dpo and a great starking white BFN!

Tigger1116 · 14/10/2023 01:01

@Confusedddddddd I’m finding it hard lol the tww doesn’t go quickly I keep doing cheapie tests I’ve had the pains ect everyday 🤞

Confusedddddddd · 14/10/2023 00:24

@Tigger1116 I'd love to say I'd hold out til then but I'll probably end up testing over the weekend. I'm not feeling good about this month but also I've been having really bad cramps the last couple days - probably nothing but definetly didn't have them this bad last month. I've also lost weight over the last few days and in both pregnancies I've had (one to term, one ectopic lostat 9w) I lost weight quite drastically. But I'm just reading into it too much I think.

ReginaPhalange12 · 13/10/2023 23:12

@Lushfanatic123 it very well could be. How many DPO are you?

Lushfanatic123 · 13/10/2023 22:19

Do we think this could be implantation bleeding?

Included picture, sorry for tmi

I had this on Wednesday, then nothing Thursday and then it returned today.

hicketypickety · 13/10/2023 17:39

@ceruleansky sorry to hear that. At least the doctor said it wasn't anything that could have been avoided, though it is all just terribly unfair regardless. Hopefully you have better luck with a different drug xx

WishingUponARainbow · 13/10/2023 15:11

So I went to the GP on Wednesday to have a blood test to check my progesterone levels.
(Blood test was roughly 7 days before period)

Got my results back as 11.6nmol/l and after a bit of Googling I'm getting conflicting information as to whether that's normal or low. Does anyone have any experience/knowledge with this?

Blueberry1990 · 13/10/2023 11:51

Hi!
This is also our first month of TTC.
I'm 32 year old and my average cycle is 35-42 days.
I am currently using Flo and Premom to track my cycle and using Easy@home ovulation tests.

I was diagnosed with PCOS around 16 years but I don't suffer any symptoms except a slightly longer than average cycle

Gem1066 · 13/10/2023 10:20

8DPO and my BBT has dropped from 36.62 to 36.37 so i’m guessing i’m out and AF is on its way as my temperature hasn’t stayed high.. On to the 4th cycle..

wanderlustre · 13/10/2023 09:37

@ceruleansky Sorry it hasn't been better news. Hope you're able to take the weekend to look after yourself ❤️

I'm obsessing over my follow up appointment at the fertility clinic now (it's always something 🤣). When we went to the first appointment in May the nurse said if we still hadn't conceived by our next appointment we'd be classed as unexplained and could be referred for IVF. But I was looking up the guidelines for my local area and it looks like they won't refer until 2 years of trying. We will be at 15 months by our appointment. I'm not sure I could go through all this for another 9 months just to then go through IVF. It's already so rough.

ReginaPhalange12 · 13/10/2023 08:48

10DPO and a BFN on a Boots early detection, I know I'm not out until AF arrives but I'm not feeling so optimistic. I've decided I'm going to take some time & get my body into a healthier state, I've already joined a new gym & hope it helps going forward.

@ceruleansky I'm glad you've got some answers & a plan going forward. Wishing you lots of luck 🍀

Anotheranxiousone · 13/10/2023 08:37

No abstinence from me but in general try not to drink excessively during tww (sometimes unavoidable if have an event like a wedding though!)

ceruleansky · 13/10/2023 07:39

Okay so my final scan showed an immature follicle still so I'm done this cycle. Going to start meprate to induce my period.
I've been prescribed Letrozole for 2 cycles. It's supposed to be more effective than clomid.
I also asked my Dr why I ovulated last month vs not this month and she said it's a very common scenario with hormonal imbalance and isn't because of anything I did or didn't do (with diet or exercise) so that kind of gave me relief.
She also said obese PCOS is easier to treat than lean PCOS and I have the latter so it's all about the hormones rather than weight.
Anyway, hope you wonderful ladies have better news! I'm looking forward to some of your bfps!!

Tigger1116 · 12/10/2023 22:54

@Confusedddddddd this is the 2nd cycle trying for my 1st baby I know what you mean last month I was obsessed with the symptoms lol this time I’m more relaxed I’m going to do a first responders early test on Tuesday when will you test
