TTC October 2023

Lovely to hear from you! Yes I'm CD11 today too. I've actually bought some ovulation sticks now but we are away visiting family this weekend so no chance of DTD so I've not brought them. We will be back Sunday so I will do one in the afternoon and we will DTD as much as possible next week.

I took a bit of a break too @TTCnewbies but checking back in today. Think we are cycle buddies again this month - I’m CD11 today. Had a scan this morning and two follicles look promising - hoping that I ovulate naturally in the next few days but, if not, I’ll have a trigger shot on Monday.

Hope everyone is doing well and hanging onto their sanity in the TTC madness. Crossing fingers that this is everyone’s month.

@hicketypickety , hope you’re okay - the information out there on vitamins and supplements is overwhelming and contradictory. So hard to know what we should be taking!

@ceruleansky , I’ve lost track a little but would love to hear how you’re getting on - has AF been brought on yet? Hope you can get cracking with the new regime soon.

@bumptobean i would track ovulation and follow the sperm meets egg plan. The success rate on that is huge, i fell 2nd month trying that plan with my girl

@MrsL2019 ah I wish it was but I did do a test this morning and a BFN! Was originally due on today so think I’m defo out!!

Would anyone recommend tracking ovulating even if I’m DTD’ing every other day? I’ve never tracked ovulation before but after this weird 1 day period I’m thinking maybe I should?! 🤷‍♀️

Hi ladies hope everyone is well! I'm on CD12 and looks like I'll get my peak on OPK tonight - only problem is, no fella until tomorrow night 😒 will obviously pounce on him as soon as he's home 🤣 but please tell me I still have a chance this month 😭 x

@bumptobean could be implantation, when i implanted with my little girl i had the bleeding at about 8pm on the saturday night, tested neg on the sunday but positive on the monday! Fingers crossed for you🤞

@dg3131 i thought id be more relaxed this time knowing ive already gone through all of this, but as soon as i was past ovulation i went crazy about it all again🤣 it really consumes you doesnt it!

@MrsL2019 yep I was the same for my little boy, just did a test the day my period was due and was BFP. That was 4 years ago tho and we're on cycle two of TTC number 2. Hopefully won't take too long but also don't want to get my hopes up.

Anyone had a random 1 day period? 🙃 AF came 3 days early (I was supposedly due on tomorrow), cycle length was as it normally is, I’m usually on for a good 5 days.

Thought maybe it could be implantation as it’s very light (but still red blood) but I got a negative yesterday.

@dg3131 yes same here nothing yet but i didnt get any symptoms with my girl until after the positive test! My boobs are abit achy and tender to the touch and they never get sore, but im fully aware TTC makes you imagine symptoms🤣

@MrsL2019 I'm feeling pretty normal 😂 not sure if that's a good thing or not, my boobs are a bit sore but other than that no symptoms to report really. How about you?

@Blueberry1990 Premom is always the same for me. Well out half the time. Flo is far more accurate. I only really use Premom for tracking my OPKs and BBT.

@bumptobean I'd love to think so but I also feel crampy and was in an absolutely foul mood at the weekend!! I have started taking a vit c supplement which on Googling now apparently can bring on AF?! So don't know whether to bother carrying on with that now. Too much bloody info out there 😩😩

I'm definitely out for October, BFN this morning and some spotting last night which must mean AF is on her way ... five days earlier than normal.

Another thing that baffles me - currently I'm cycle day 29, premom has my estimated AF start date in 3 days yet I've tracked my periods for over 3 years on the app (just started using premom this month but used flo for 3 years so added all my past dayes to it) and my cycle day has never been under 34 days (normally between 34-44) so why would they estimate it earlier than it's ever been the past 3 years?

As a comparison Flo app estimates it to start in 9 days which is a lot more realistic

Hi all, I'm back after a week or so away from the thread! AF came with a vengeance and it lasted nearly a week with the spotting which felt long! I felt like I was getting too consumed with the TTC so took a break from thinking about it. I know there was one BFP on here. Were there any more?

I've bought ovulation sticks this time, I'm cycle day 9 today if going by when AF full blown arrived so will do an ovulation test tonight just to see how it's looking. Telling myself not to get too consumed this month but it's hard isn't it!!

AF really said ‘ha, don’t think it’s your month yet!’ and has arrived 🥴 is there a November group set up yet?

@dg3131 I told myself Sunday too but equally I’ve checked my natural cycles app about 4 times today to double check number of DPO (subconsciously hoping they have increased?? 🤣) so I will probably only make it to Friday.

Just had some very light pink bleeding with a niggling feeling in my hip. I’m 11dpo so perfect time for implantation bleeding.. equally 3 days away from AF (and I was 3 days late last month so never bang on time) so could be AF coming.

Remaining hopeful until the bitter end here!!

Bit late to the thread but my partner and I have been trying to convince for just over a year now.

We had some private fertility tests and I was diagnosed with PCOS. This month is our last natural cycle before I start on medication and I had peak ovulation Saturday. Already driving myself insane waiting for the right time to test.

@Sconehenge story of my life at the minute 😂 when are you going to hold out to test? I was thinking Sunday but I'm nearly certain I'll do one on sat too 😂 my cycles have been all over the place since coming off the pill, usually on the shorter side, but I was certain when I ovulated this month.

Thank you @dg3131 mine feels more of an aching feeling 'between my legs' 😵 wondering if could just be a rush of hormones etc.....
