TTC October 2023

Hi ladies, how is everyone doing? Currently 7dpo today.. had some interesting symptoms this TWW but today I just feel emotional & have a headache & blocked nose. I haven't tested as I know it's too soon - trying to hold out as long as possible. My partner just called me obsessed with the whole thing and it made me cry 🤣 wanker x

Hi - I was wondering if anyone could give me some feedback on my OPK and chart - I had a peak OPK result but think the earlier result in day 18 looks darker?

I haven’t had a temp rise, on fertility friend, so am wondering if I need to keep going with temps too. My chart is there.

Thanks all - if anyone is good at trying to interpret - I’m a bit stuck and would like to try and steer clear of google if possible.

@Anotheranxiousone You know when it all just feels like time is taking forever to pass and the obsession of testing just isn't shifting.
I really wanted to wait until AF was due but just cant help it. Going to do another test on Sunday now i think.. would be 9dpo by then

@tlw14 my test was so so faint at 8DPo as you can see above, no way anything would have shown at 7DPO and many wouldn’t have been able to see the line on my test above. Even at 9dpo is was pretty faint!

Currently 7dpo. I know its really early but you cant help yourself when on this wild ttc journey.
Had a negative test so feeling very demotivated.

@Anotheranxiousone this is really reassuring. I’ve had sore breast since 4 dpo and at one point I couldn’t lay on them, been having weird dizzy spells too - I’m not doing anything and all of a sudden my head spins. I’ve also been having really vivid dreams.

it’s so exciting for you! Have you told your children, or are they too young to understand?

@Jee95 well I’m 8 weeks tomorrow so yes but back then, at 8dpo, I had a couple of symptoms in the days before my test which is what made me do the test. My breasts were tingling a lot, and I had definite implantation cramps at 6/7DPo (I’ve been pregnant twice before so recognise this). After that the main symptoms that continued were the sore breasts, though everything comes and goes a bit since week 6 and I get nausea off and on as well x

its probably too early at 7DPo for a digital, mine didn’t pick it up until 9dpo x

@Anotheranxiousone That’s amazing! Congratulations 🎉. I’m currently 8dpo now. I took a CB yesterday but was negative, so really not sure. I’ve just taken another this morning and waiting. Do you have any symptoms?

Looks like an early positive to me @Jee95, this was mine at 8dpo! Mine was barely there but I knew it was and it developed nicely. At 9dpo got ‘pregnant’ on CB digital :)

I definitely see a vvvvfpl there! Maybe test again with FMU?

Hello, I’m 7dpo and TTC this month. I’ve been having quite strong symptoms and I took two tests yesterday as well as today and they’re very faint. I’m holding onto hope as we’ve been trying for our first for 7-months. If we don’t this month I’ve found a private clinic as NHS have not been useful.

Hi everyone, need some opinions.

Currenlty 10 DPO - have had really watery CM for the past 2 days, so much so that I thought it must be AF but nothing when I wipe. Did an IC this morning around 11:30 and got a vvvvfl, told DH and he can see it too. Worried about how faint it is, although not FMU & my predicted AF day varies from PreMom & Flo. Does anyone else see it? Or am I going crazy!

Also, apologies for the hair 🤢 it was a quick snap I sent to DH who was on a work call

First time tracking ovulation! I assume there’s no point DTD’ing tonight if we don’t fancy it because this isn’t a strong line, or should I still be DTD every other day? 👀

@hicketypickety I’m finding this so strange as I’m a 5 day heavy period every month type of gal, this month I started spotting 3 days before AF was due, thought it was implantation but I’m now on day 8 of spotting! Not sure what this means for conceiving, I’ve just ordered ovulation strips for the first time because of it 😩

@wanderlustre yes I think frustrating sums it up perfectly. For me at least it's a sort of "why can't my body do what it's supposed to like theirs"

@hicketypickety @bumptobean thank you for your kindness. Sometimes I feel a right crank being grumpy about other people's happy news but it's so bittersweet. I'm happy for them but sad and frustrated for me at the same time.

Hi everyone. First time using this. Just want some help, advice and guidance.
I currently have a 6 year old boy already but decided to try for another.
I came off the pill Sunday 22nd October and had unprotected sex that day too I took ovulation test on the Monday and it was positive and another one Tuesday but Tuesday I started to bleed, which I believe is a withdrawal bleed.
Just wondering if this has happened to anyone and the chances of pregnancy already. I know it’s very early on but would just like some advice etc…

@wanderlustre I feel for you. It's so hard even though you don't want anyone else's baby its still tinged with something (can't quite put my finger on the right word though...sadness, helplessness maybe?) especially if no one else knows about the journey you're on. One of my friends is just going into her third trimester with her second and another of my friends has a six month old and the group chat is just all pregnancy and babies it soul destroying at times and sometimes I just have to check out so you just need to do whatever works for you.

@ceruleansky must have been something in the air, I also had five days of spotting before AF coming 2 days early. Fingers crossed for November - see you on the other thread 😩😩

I'm out this month! Af came 5 days early with spotting that made it look like implantation, very cheeky.

Morning everyone, hope all ok.

I'd like to join too. This is 7th month ttc. A 28 day cycle, and I'm usually day 15 / 16 for ovulation, but last month was day 17 and today, I'm still seeing low (but definitely getting darker) OPK's, so think will be peak today.

I've had 8 days of ewcm, so was expecting it to be around 15 - 17, not another day later. Does this seem typical to others? It does seem like ovulation on 18 of a 28 day could be a bit tricky?

I have been unwell, a bad cold, since last Monday. Do others think being unwell affects ovulation too? Thanks guys, I was hoping 7 would be a lucky one for us!

Could I possibly join (albeit we are nearing the end of October now)

We are ttc #1, I think I had my peak on Saturday from my ovulation strips and we've done BD all around that date so hoping it's done the trick! Still testing as my predicted date on Flo is a week later (I have regular 34 day cycles) but never really known when I ovulate.

Will be nice to chat to others as I think I'm driving my DH mad already 😂

BFN at 10DPO... think I'm nearly out for October!

Had some random spotting today. It's cd26. I know for a fact that I didn't ovulate until cd13 since I had a scan done. I don't know if I've ovulated since, I didn't use OPKs because I thought I was out this month, in terms of my treatment cycle.
I wonder if it's just AF arriving 6 days early..That will also mess up my cycle. 🫠
