@TTCnewbies not to fill you with false hope but I got my BFP in April at 12DPO and had cramping for a couple of days.
(It ended in miscarriage but it was the first BFP I'd ever had -the cramping is what made me test, I think it was implantation cramping irritating my uterus)

You're not out til AF shows!

DoloresOnTheDottedLine · 05/10/2023 10:56

Sorry to all those with a BFN this morning - looks like there were quite a few of us. I’m consoling myself with the thought that I can have a giant glass (bottle?) of wine this weekend to commiserate. Make sure you all do something nice for yourselves and remember that we probably all feel extra rubbish because AF is on the way - never a happy time in this house! Once she’s out of the way, we’ll feel more positive and ready to go again. Chins up girls, we can do this.

wanderlustre · 05/10/2023 10:25

I'm seeing my best friend on Saturday (she's a double unicorn - she's literally never seen a BFN). She'll have her 18mth DS with her (my Godson) and 2 weeks ago she announced baby #2 - this is the first time I've seen her since. I'm excited to see her and my Godson but dear Lord am I feeling salty about how easy her journey has been. AF is due tomorrow just to make me even more loopy!

@Aaj04 I used Flo and Premom and they both consistently tell me different dates for ovulation and AF 🙃Flo tends to be more accurate with dates but I use Premom to log my OPKs, BBT and my ever growing collection of BFNs. ETA - I'm so sorry it wasn't to be this month for you. I hope next month is better.

Aaj04 · 05/10/2023 10:11

Hi all,
I haven't been replying but reading all the msgs. I'm 12/13DPO and was certain that I was pregnant this month but got bfn this morning. So gutted!

I wanted to ask.. Which app does everyone use to track their cycle? Perhaps one with bbt

Baby dust to all xxx

MissSB18 · 05/10/2023 08:32

Morning ladies, I was really hopeful to see some BFPs but looks like we are all in the same boat. I'm 12dpo today and bfn, have been cramping past few days so I know AF is on the way. Strangely for the first month ever I'm actually ok with a BFN - this month has been my first regular cycle in months & also, if I'd have fallen pregnant my due date would've meant my partner would still be in the military based hundreds of miles away 😅 he's due to leave next July ❤️ sending baby dust to you all x

MrsHousePlant · 05/10/2023 07:36

There seem to be so many of us in a similar position. Although it sucks there are no BFPs yet I do agree with others it’s nice to have company along this journey. I’m finding it hard seeing people get pregnant quickly unplanned when I feel like I’m consumed by ovulation testing and then theTWW.

10DPO for me today. I haven’t tested as I’m not sure I can deal with seeing a negative at the moment. AF due this weekend so just a waiting game unless I cave tomorrow morning. Still no real symptoms and I always thought I’d just ‘know’ when I was pregnant. TTC is so hard 😩

Blackberry95 · 05/10/2023 07:24

11DPO BFN for me today 😪I was quite hopeful this month but feel like shit now, wish I hadn’t looked

Katie276 · 05/10/2023 07:15

@DoloresOnTheDottedLine thankyou! It’s nice to come on here and speak with people who are in the same situations - hoping everything goes well for you ❤️

DoloresOnTheDottedLine · 05/10/2023 06:59

@123456789ss Hope you’re okay. Symptom spotting is my new hobby! But in the cold light of morning I have to be honest with myself and say that every one of my “symptoms” is typical for just before AF.

DoloresOnTheDottedLine · 05/10/2023 06:38

@TTCnewbies BFN for me too at 11/12 DPO. I’ll test again on Saturday (which is when my clinic actually told me to test) and then just wait for AF. I was super crampy yesterday evening as well so I think she’s on her way. Never mind - we’ll go again next month.

Sorry you got a BFN as well today. I'm 10dpo and sounds like I've felt the same as you all week with cramping. So hard not to symptom spot

DoloresOnTheDottedLine · 05/10/2023 06:50

@TTCnewbies I feel the same - wish you’d had your BFP but was nice to feel your virtual presence this morning! Good question about my cycle and I don’t actually know - I’m normally very irregular and cycles could be between 33 and 45 days (and occasionally 60 or so!). However this pills I’m taking may “regularise” (is that a word?) me or else my clinic (who like to control as much as possible) may insist on giving me something to stimulate a bleed. I feel like AF is on the way though so hopefully minimal interference will be necessary- if I had to guess, I’d say Sunday. What about you?

As sad as I am to see you've had a BFN too. It's somewhat comforting to see you here at this time. Really hope it changes for you and me but if not, yes, we go again!
How long are your cycles roughly? Wondering if we will be similar next month!

DoloresOnTheDottedLine · 05/10/2023 06:42

@Katie276 I consider DTD to conceive and DTD for actual enjoyment as two really different things. I’m sure there are people who blissfully conceive a baby through unplanned, passionate love making, but me and my DP are not them. DP has bought those magic little blue pills just in case he’s required to perform on a day when he really isn’t up for it! Once we get pregnant (or stop trying) business as usual can resume and we can go back to enjoying ourselves. So basically, don’t feel bad if it gets a bit mechanical - you are not alone.

Hey everyone, not messaged on here in a while but reading all of your messages. AF is due for me next week and feel like I’ll be out this month so I haven’t felt any different whatsoever haha

I already feel like the novelty and excitement has worn off slightly and it’s hard now to DTD trying to get such a big outcome from it! I feel like we did DTD around my fertile window but we did kind of drop off and it’s hard as I’m trying not to put any pressure on it while obviously still hoping something is going to happen! 😂

Just wondering if anyone feels the same and what you do to keep DTD every two days not become a chore!

TTCnewbies · 05/10/2023 05:54

Morning all, BFN this morning. 10/11dpo I think. So I guess still very early and AF isn't due til next week but I've really felt like she's on her way sooner, been very crampy all week. Time will tell I guess.

Sleepysheepish · 05/10/2023 01:17

@bumptobean absolutely! And add in that we’re the ones having to try and figure out when ovulation is occurring (which can be time consuming in itself! OPKs, Temps, etc), and then trying to decide if we want to try DTD that day or if we should wait till the next….when you have limited opportunities it’s a really big mind . Ugh.
I don’t find it fun at all 😭

bumptobean · 04/10/2023 23:51

I find it so hard to DTD the right days too! So much planning esp when DH isn’t feeling it too. I also tell myself I won’t be upset but it is a bit soul destroying thinking of another month of planning the days out and 2 weeks waiting 😩

ReginaPhalange12 · 04/10/2023 23:44

@hicketypickety I was looking everywhere & saw on here they've been discontinued, I thought they were supposed to be one of the best but there have been quite a lot of evaps apparently.

Tigger1116 · 04/10/2023 22:13

I dtd last night and this morning with my donor and possibly tomorrow also. The apps say my ovulation day could be Saturday is this enough to cover this month 🤞

emmatcc1 · 04/10/2023 22:13

I’m 12 dpo and af due in two days. I know it’s best to wait and see if it arrives but I can’t remain calm. This cycle is really playing tricks on me I feel like I have a bunch of symptoms and that I’m pregnant but then again there were times when I thought that was definitely it but af turned up. After 15 cycles of trying I’m desperate for a positive test.

Sleepysheepish · 04/10/2023 22:10

Tested again this morning at 9dpo with a first response, negative. Sigh. Probably will test another couple of times and then wait for my period. I promised myself I wouldn’t be sad, but here I am feeling a bit shitty, I hate trying to arrange DTD on the right days (such a lot of pressure when DH isn’t keen) and this month I had such good timing 😭
I also have horrendous periods and try to have as few as possible lol

hicketypickety · 04/10/2023 19:20

@ReginaPhalange12 that makes so much sense - I went to buy some frers last month and couldn't find them ANYWHERE 😂

pontipinemum · 04/10/2023 19:01

I thought I was 8DPO but I marked my peak in my premom app and it say's I am only 6 DPO feels like ages until I can test.

I have never used a FRER, as they the best? I think I'll order some I live in the back arse of no where so can't just go to the pharmacy if I want a different test.

I have amazon cheapies and I think one CB digital but I won't use that until I am very very sure.
