I'm currently TTC following a miscarriage at 12 weeks on 5th August. I haven't had a period yet but we decided not to wait, as I'm desperate to be pregnant again and I think that is the only thing that will make me feel better about the loss. I have been tracking ovulation and did catch my peak so now just hoping I've got the timing of DTD right.

Just wondering if anyone out there TTC is around the same time in their cycle so that we can chat to each other really. I think I'm already driving my husband mad, it would be nice to speak to other people who really understand how I'm feeling! 😊

Now had four negatives... think it was just a really bad evap line 😞

@Agathapoirot thanks!! I think it looks positive too but then I've also had three negatives today and have read that these tests can have bad evap lines, so I don't want to get my hopes up yet.

I will no doubt end up doing another test tonight ha and again tomorrow morning...

That looks positive to me from the picture. I have got EVERYTHING crossed that this progresses @Kewchoc x

Kewchoc · 07/10/2023 18:05

Oh fab I may order some frer's then.

Although this happened about an hour ago, but it was after about 10 mins of doing the test. I then did two more tests afterwards which were completely negative so now I'm very confused!! The first test was after a long hold but the next two were about 20 mins later and I had to really force the wee out ha. I'm so confused and don't want to get my hopes up if it's just an evap line

Uh oh… spotting started here, probably the witch arriving but annoying that I can’t be sure and so indulge in a massive wine this afternoon😫

Frers en-route from Amazon - I have noticed it’s a bit hit and miss when they have them but they’re still currently in stock (just checked).

Liz2681 · 07/10/2023 10:21

@moosey89 so sorry about AF's arrival 🙁I know what you mean about hoping it still happen no matter how unlikely, and still feels like a gut punch nonetheless 😩

I think I'm out for this month - even though AF hasn't started in full flow (just spotting) my BBT has dropped consistently over the last three days. Also tested this morning with an Easy@home test and got a BFN. Just have to wait for AF to fully arrive now and move on to the next cycle.

Best of luck to anyone still waiting on BFPs! 🤞🏼

Kewchoc · 07/10/2023 09:39

Sorry to hear that @moosey89 I hope you're okay ❤️

@Amberellalina where did you get your frer from? I couldn't seem to find any!!

BFN for me again this morning too at 10DPO and more pms symptoms incoming, so I am very confident that this isn't going to be my month 😞

Sorry to hear that ladies, hope you’re both doing okay x

Amberellalina · 07/10/2023 07:28

Awwww, sorry to hear that @moosey89. Hope you’re Ok today.

@Kewchoc still early!!

BFN for me at 11 dpo this morning on easy@home. Nevermind, Frers arrive today so will do one of those in the morning.

Still absolutely no symptoms…

moosey89 · 06/10/2023 23:10

Period is arriving, will be in full flow (no pun intended) tomorrow. I was so hoping to be pregnant again ahead of baby loss awareness week even though I knew it was really unlikely to happen😞

Kewchoc · 06/10/2023 19:44

Pretty sure my period is incoming... boobs starting to feel heavy when I take my bra off which always happens a couple of days before AF 😞

SO grateful for this safe non-judgemental space. Thanks ladies ❤️

I feel like we have unintentionally created the loveliest thread on Mumsnet 🥰

@Amberellalina that's so lovely 😭 really needed to hear that today. Thank you @Kewchoc, that means a lot.

You're all so amazing for, despite going through some of the hardest things women will ever have to go through, still choosing to come on here and offer advice, support or just a friendly ear. Big hugs to everyone ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ xx

moosey89 · 06/10/2023 14:02

@Amberellalina thank you - you don't know just how much I needed that today 💗

Kewchoc · 06/10/2023 12:31

@Amberellalina That is such a lovely message and I definitely needed to hear it today. You are absolutely right, we're a pretty badass bunch of girls really, aren't we? 🥰

@Kewchoc , @Liz2681 , @moosey89 , @Agathapoirot anybody I’ve missed and anybody lurking. This whole thing is absolutely horrendous and you’re all superwomen for how well you’re coping with it.

It might not feel like you’re coping sometimes, but you’re all getting up, and going to work, and going to the gym, and looking after DC and frankly it’s amazing that any of that is happening after what we’ve been through!

Massive props to all of you x

Kewchoc · 06/10/2023 10:18

@Amberellalina Oh yes still a few days! Although I also got a bfn this morning at 9dpo and am trying not to convince myself I'm out. I know it's still too early for a bfp but I think I've been more desperate than I realised to be pregnant again before Cornwall and baby loss awareness week so I'm starting to panic that I'm not. Until the last couple of days I actually felt like I was dealing with things okay but I'm now realising that I'm not in a very good place mentally... although maybe that's just PMS talking 😞

@Liz2681I guess all you can really do is wait and see... but if it's stopped that sounds like a good sign. Sorry that it's been so triggering for you though 😞 it really is so stressful trying to get pregnant after loss. If you find it helpful then please do talk through how you're feeling with us on here, I'm sure we will all understand even though we can't offer any real advice xx

@Amberellalina yes definitely not out yet! I didn't get my last BFP until DPO 14 so still plenty of time.

I woke up this morning bleeding - thought AF had arrived super early, but it's just stopped? Getting flashbacks to last BFP where the exact same thing happened which ended in MC, so really hoping it's not the same again!

Amberellalina · 06/10/2023 07:07

BFN at 10 dpo this morning as expected… Not out yet as only got my BFP at 13 dpo last time 😊

Amberellalina · 05/10/2023 21:40

@Liz2681 I had that at 8/9 dpo in my last pregnancy so could be a good sign!

Liz2681 · 05/10/2023 18:50

Thank you guys for your kind words. It's so nice having this as an outlet. As suggested I had a good cry, a nap and am now vegging on the couch.

@Amberellalina it is good to have a plan! Sometimes it's just about knowing what the next steps are which is helpful. Fingers crossed though for BFP before Jan! 🤞🏼

In terms of symptoms, anyone else noticed brown spotting and cramping? AF not due until next Tuesday though so not sure if it's impending AF or if it's implantation? I'm 9DPO so could be either.

Amberellalina · 05/10/2023 14:01

Oh god what a nightmare @Liz2681. I’d definitely be indulging in chocolate and sadness if that happened to me.

And congratulations on your anniversary @Kewchoc, I hope you manage to enjoy it. Maybe you can flip the script and make it a celebration of everything you’ve got through together, including baby loss. Got my fingers crossed for your BFP at the weekend and Cornwall redeeming itself for you.

I’m feeling really positive about this month. No weird spotting, pdg tests coming back positive and no sign of AF coming as early as she did last month so even if i’m not pregnant at least it looks like we’re getting back to normal at last. In any case we’ve decided we’re going to try until Christmas, and then if I’m not pregnant by then do the IVF In January. It feels good to have a plan!

moosey89 · 05/10/2023 13:21

@Liz2681 oh that's not nice to receive 😞 I'm lucky my midwife team were really responsive by email so I could cancel everything that way. Definitely was not in a mood to speak to anyone on the phone!x

Kewchoc · 05/10/2023 12:10

@Liz2681 Oh that is very upsetting 😞 it's awful getting appointment letters after losing the baby and having even more reminders of what should have been. Really hope you're okay. Cry as much as you need to and could I also suggest a very big bar of chocolate today ❤️
