1DPO... any cycle buddies out there?

I'm currently TTC following a miscarriage at 12 weeks on 5th August. I haven't had a period yet but we decided not to wait, as I'm desperate to be pregnant again and I think that is the only thing that will make me feel better about the loss. I have been tracking ovulation and did catch my peak so now just hoping I've got the timing of DTD right.

Just wondering if anyone out there TTC is around the same time in their cycle so that we can chat to each other really. I think I'm already driving my husband mad, it would be nice to speak to other people who really understand how I'm feeling! 😊

Today at around 2am I had very painful stabbing pain on the right side of my uterus. Hopefully that’s implantation, if I was standing up I would definitely need to stop until it passed.

Sorry to hear you’re feeling flat @tlw14 but as you say, still incredibly early! I’m not sure I’ve ever heard of even a faint positive at 7dpo.

I really fancied marshmallows today and the last time that happened was when I was pregnant with dd! I’m only 5dpo, so way too early for any physical symptoms, but I did wonder if it was the universe giving me a sign that this is my month? We shall see…

7dpo for me today.. had some cramping on my left side a few days ago but very mild.
Had a snuffly nose for about 24 hours but it is shifting now.. i read this can be a sign also so was feeling positive.
Not really had anything else.
Did a test this morning, obviously it was negative so feel a bit flat even though i know i do still have time.

@Kewchoc it seems to be Ok so far - I think about it often obviously but I’m feeling less desperate than I did last month and the one before.

As you say though, still early! I’m sure once I get into the implantation window things will change 😂

@Amberellalina exactly! Have you felt the tingling of TWW insanity creeping in yet? I'm so hoping that I can be less neurotic this month and have definitely been more chilled out with OPK's so I'm hoping it carries over... will probably be a very different story a few days from now though 🙄

I like your thinking, I will borrow it: if I’m not pregnant this month then it means one more month of working on my fitness before I become an exhausted vomitty mess 😊

@Amberellalina thanks, I had great sleep last night so am feeling much more positive today! I also keep telling myself that each month I don't get pregnant means an extra month of progressing in my new role at work before going on maternity leave again, so it's not all doom and gloom. How are you doing? Are you 3DPO today?

@Amberellalina Thanks, still pretty anxious today but I only got three hours sleep last night so hoping I'll feel better tomorrow after a good night. I'm trying not to get down but I already feel like I'm out this month, got my suspiciously high peak on Sunday and DTD a couple of hours after but then haven't had sex since due to my stupid brain being too anxious/tired. Trying not to be negative but can't help feeling like we haven't done it enough (even though I'm supposed to be being more relaxed about it this month 🙄)

I’m feeling more chilled this month - we’ve done what we can, and I’m either going to be pregnant or I’m not. Of course I’m still only 2dpo so it might be a different story this time next week!

So sorry for your loss @tlw14 you'll see we're all in very similar positions so this is a great space to come to, or to at least feel you're not the only one driving yourself mad over symptom spotting!

@Kewchoc whoa that is crazy high! At least that's definitely a definitive high, so maybe just caught at exactly the right time?

Finally got a static smiley on the CB this morning on CD19 coupled with a peak (I think) on the OPK strip so can finally start on the TWW! Just hope my luteal phase is long enough now 🙈.

@Amberellalina Yeah hopefully, I've literally never had anything even close to that though so I'm hoping it wasn't just a dodgy test! We DTD a couple of hours after so really hoping we got the timing right this month. We should really DTD again tonight but I've been absolutely riddled with anxiety all day so I'm not sure that's gonna be happening. It's my husbands birthday a week today so would be amazing if I ovulate today and somehow manage to get a positive pregnancy test to give him on his birthday... at 7DPO 🤔🤣

Gosh, 2.5 @Kewchoc! You must have caught it at its absolute highest. And yes I understand re: dtd - sometimes you’re like ‘well, that got it where it needed to be’ 😂

Welcome @tlw14 and sorry for your loss. I would advise, being a couple of months further down the line, not to put pressure on yourself to fall again straight away. It is easier said than done but I really got myself in a state about it and I wish I hadn’t.

Hello everyone I’m joining here after a break from mumsnet. Pretty sure I’m 2dpo today I don’t really track anymore since it was getting too much. Crazy to think I will be ovulating only two more times this year and in January we will probably seek medical help and start with tests. With all the anxiety I probably won’t fall pregnant in that time.

Hello, hope you don't mind me joining.
I am nearly 5 weeks post miscarriage. Like most of you on this thread, we have jumped straight into TTC following this.
I got peak ovulation 5 days ago ( static smiley on CB). Before this all my ovulation tests were negative.

I am overthinking symptoms like you wouldn't believe. I have already done a pregnancy test, no idea why when i knew it would be negative this early on anyway.

Hope you are all doing ok, it really is quite hard and really does send you crazy

Good to hear you've both got busy weeks, I think it definitely helps to make the TWW more bearable!

I got a ridiculously high OPK yesterday afternoon (2.5!!) so presuming that was my peak, but I've actually tried to avoid doing many OPK tests seeing as I'm trying to be more relaxed about it this month. Although saying that, every time we've had sex I've found myself thinking "that seemed like it would do the trick" 🤣🤣 based on absolutely nothing!! I'm hoping that you understand what I mean and that I've not just gone completely insane!

Morning! On CD18 and still no positive OPK 😩 a bit frustrating as I'd just like to get on with the TWW but this isn't the first time I've ovulated this late so just have to keep testing! Like you @Amberellalina I also have the week from hell coming up, including a job interview on Wednesday, but looking forward to some time off next week.

How is everyone this morning?

@Amberellalina glad to hear it looks like a surge! Yeah it's not unusual for me to have loads of flashing smileys beforehand, with the exception of last month where I only had one flashing smiley before a static one - I think things were a bit off though because of the chemical, so it's reassuring things are at least going back to normal now.

Yep, got a 1.51 this morning so we’re definitely surging! A nice surprise to be early for a change, it brings the next step a little closer.

Fingers crossed for your static smiley soon @Liz2681 , that happened to me last month - loads of days of flashing then a slow LH rise before surge.

And @Kewchoc I’m glad the counselling was good - I might look into it myself, sounds like a great way to (try to) process the grief.

@Amberellalina yup I've been getting flashing smileys since Tuesday. I've been doing the strip OPKs in tandem and my LH increased slightly yesterday so hoping for a static smiley either tomorrow or Monday!

Good news about the .81 test yesterday - that's usually where my peaks tend to land so, although everyone's different, sounds like your peak may be close x

Got a 0.81 on my opk last night so looks like I might be ovulating earlier than usual this month… Haven’t done one this morning yet though…
