Think I'm now in my tww, hopefully it won't drag!

First month using opk's, think I might have ovulated on 8th/9th as I got lines on those days and then a faint line on 10th and no line today.

Fingers crossed 🤞

@figandhoney I'm currently waiting on a 3 set of clearblues including an early test and digital. Would of preferred a frer but couldn't get any. Should be here any minute now

@MrsHousePlant Ah. I remember the cupboard full of test from last time. I am going to try not to buy any until I have missed a period this. Too tempting otherwise. But we will see if I can stay strong. I already looked the cheapies up on amazon.

I am so glad I am the only one. Exactly now it's only in my fertile phase that I have any interest at all.
@mamamason Have you looked on amazon? Or maybe you can order some in via boots?
@Tartanhaggis How are you doing today? Did you test again? I didn't get a a BFP last time until 3 days after my missed period. And even then it was very faint. I remember being very worried about it. But the line got progressively darker. I remember cramping but I can't remember when that started.
@peonym It only takes one sperm. I think I remember that egg hangs around for 24h. And sperm can survive inside you for 5 days.
@Dee51121 I remember last time having cycles were I suddenly had very light bleeding and thought it was odd. But I think you are just more aware of everything to do with your body when you are TTC. Then again some people get implantation bleeding. But you should get a BFP fairly soon after a missed period if you are regular. I got mind 3 days after my missed period last time. And most people that are testing see one much earlier.

@Angelselevenx hope that timing is spot on for you! 😁 both September and October are super busy for me so unlikely to be perfect timing so just going to roll with it. Last pregnancy was awful timing but got pregnant from only DTD once over fertile window, the day after my clearblue static smiley! So at least I know it doesn't have to be perfect to work 😂 makes me a little less stressed x

@moosey89 I say I'm waiting for AF to leave but I normally have 8 day cycles and it seems to be withering away slowly at the moment so maybe it'll be a shorter one!

OH is off on a stag weekend just after O so it should work out nicely without the need to plan DTD.

@Angelselevenx ah we'll be very similar timings then this month! I tend to ovulate around day 15 x

I've been a little quiet here while waiting for ovulation to happen.

It's great to see some BFPs already.

I'm hoping this month is a lucky one for me. I had surgery on one of my ovaries in July at the same time as removing a ruptured ectopic. I had a 10cm cyst on it and hadn't ovulated from it for over 2 years. I'm now starting to get ovulation pain and it's from that sign. I was feeling quite deflated about TTC as I was left with an ovary and tube on opposite sides - it's still possible to get pregnant but possibly harder, but now that it's looking like both ovaries are working I'm feeling better about it.

On another note, I've been using Femometer for years for tracking cycles. It seems to think my test line is only 50-60% of control line. Seems a bit useless as to me it looks like it's almost a peak (I'd say 90%). I'm starting to get pain too, which usually starts within a few hours of my peak (sometimes within an hour!)

@Rebeccaemily93 From what I've read evap lines tend to be grey not blue, so I'd say that was a BFP! Congratulations

@moosey89 I'm still here TTC 😊 onto cycle 8, just waiting for AF to vacate in two days then it's all go again 🤣. I don't ovulate until around CD18-21 so got a little while yet anyway c

Is this thread continuing for those who didn't get a BFP and are back into their next cycle too? Seeing as technically it's still TTC in September for those of us who didn't get lucky x

I am officially 1DPO, it feels like this month has dragged but I'm sure the TWW will feel even longer 😄

Broke and tested on 9dpo...negative. Sat here feeling down and depressed for a while and then I found the Countdown to Pregnancy website. It said that 52.5% of pregnant women got a false negative result on 9 days past ovulation.

Just a little statistic that's made me feel better and thought it might help out someone else like me who's silly enough to test early and then get down about the result 🤦‍♀️😂

If they came up within the time I would count them as positives take another test in a few days x

I’m due on my period tomorrow, I did early clearblue tests over the weekend and got these - are they evap lines or positives? I’ve read everything and my brain is now fried! Please help 🤣🤣

Noticed some spotting this morning so I think that’s AF on the way for me tomorrow and me out. I’ll be in the October thread in a week or so!

Morning, I have 0 chill so tried the second test in the clear blue 6day early pack this morning. The line is definitely darker. But as I know people say blue can be evap I'm not really believing it.

With FRER being out of stock anyone know of pink dye ones that I could pop to a shop to get?

I'm either 1 day pre period or 3 days.

Wow congrats on all those bfp guys! Hope you don’t mind me joining I’ve just started Ttc baby number 2 after an incredibly tough time conceiving baby number 1! This is cycle 1 so trying to feel relaxed however I forgot how rubbish the tww is 😆

@Tartanhaggis awww dear don't worry just relax - stress is no good.
Yes I had no change in CM before BFP at 12DPO it only changed around 7/8weeks and it was the same as post ovulation sticky globby booger like more of it and that was me my entire pregnancy. Sometimes a bit creamy.

@Stardust89 I can see a line as soon as I scrolled. Mine was so faint I thought it was in my head. But this is an obvious one. If you can wait 2 days it.shoule be darker. Congrats!!!!

Hiya. I would suggest first 6 months relax and just try and have regular intercourse, especially around fertile week and just after.
If bothing after 6 months you may find it helpful too start OPKs ovulation tracking with also using BBT. Some women find it stressful so don't want the hassle. If might not be needes if you and your partner DTD every 2/3days you should be covered. Those couples who dont have regular intercourse they may want to use OPKs and BBT

Hope you don’t mind me joining in.
I’m 33 & TTC for #1. Iv been on the implant for years & had this removed 21/08.

I had what I believe was AF 14/08-18-08 so if correct, AF is due again tomorrow.

Had some strange feelings so took a test today, a BFN so presume this is a sign of AF appearing! Any tips greatly appreciated .

I'm also getting small stabby pains/ cramps in the left side, and an achy back.

No sore boobs, apart from where my LG has bitten one nipple whilst feeding time sleep 😬

I have also had waves of nausea, but I keep wondering if I'm imagining it, as I hated morning sickness last time.

I'm also sure my CM increased around this time when I conceived, it was sticky today but not any noticeable amount.
